I wont wait again to come back for Laser! It has been about 7yrs since my last Laser touch up on my bikini and underarms. I was always hesitant because of the pain. The key to avoid the pain is to be honest with your esthetician (mine was Elinore) so they can correctly gage your settings. I have olive skin BLACK thick hair. I knew to buy multiple sessions when NuMed drops their great promos. This time I bought 3 in advance. (15yrs ago, my first zap, I did a low setting at first and 5-6 sessions - some places go very low and say you need 8 sessions). After my first visit, basically no hair grew in the 6wks- but because this was not my body's first rodeo. At the second visit, less hair, less hurt-nothing to worry about, fractional discomfort. But I will still return for my 3rd visit and maybe one more while the hair follicles are barely there. And I will probably do a touch up in a 3yrs. I already bought 3 sessions for my full legs, which will do once my summer tan fades. Time it all right! read more

I really love getting beauty treatments, so I've been to plenty of spots and know that great service is everything. The girls working here are actually amazing and so caring, but the management lady at the front desk totally ruins the vibe. I stayed away for a year and only came back because of their constant promo texts, but the checkout was just as bad as the first time. There's a woman there who questions your points and discounts in such a snobbish, condescending way. It's not even about the money, it's the fact that she's always wrong about the promos qualifying and makes the whole interaction feel weird. There are medspas on every other corner these days, and making a client feel comfortable should be the top priority. Based on all the marketing texts I get, I can see how hard they work to bring people in, but then this one lady just kills all that effort. The most important thing I look for is knowledge and expertise in the field. Having a PA do my injections, especially as one as insightful as Lindsay, provides a layer of comfort that puts my mind at ease, especially because needles can be so freaky! Aside from that I was welcomed by such a friendly staff who were eager to chat with me about all the fabulous treatments at the med spa. If I could give zero would. Google and yelp reviews hacked into. I did not rave about this place. My original review removed and not by me. My credit charged for services I never approved and never had. Filed a dispute/fraud with my credit card company. After filing dispute this business weeks later used my card illegally to charge me for services I never had and never consented to. They also have a better business sign on their door they are not accredited by the bbb. I was overcharged for services, my photos are in the nurses personal cell phone, not the business data base. Botox without my permission put in my lips causing drooping when I agreed to juviderm. Lower lip droops sought md help nothing can be done to fix lower lip droops caused by Botox. I have only used Botox on brows never on any place on my face. Other med spas with registered medical staff have indicated that they no filler is felt anywhere in my face. If they tried to use a natural look they went too far. I did not ask to look the same when I walked out. Had deep marionette lines . Also an upsell for more procedures to put filler in my lower jaws to fix lower marionette lines is not true. And for $1800 more this suggestion would accomplish nothing. Bill almost $6000 for juviderm which for all I know could have been water, I could have had face lift. Thus bill includes charges I never approved which could be possibly 30 Botox treatment, which I would have to use in one year. I never approved that as some other procedure that I have no idea what it was for what it was charged on my account for Worst experience of my life. I am staying away from Med Spa and will go only to a plastic surgeon's office or a cosmetic dermatologist empty if I want anything done, I think these places are con jobs. Something weird happened to me, initially I went to a laser removal at New Look across the street. I purchased 8 sessions and surprisingly hair grew more in these areas. When I asked them why? They blamed my body and said that's my body reacting to the machine. (Nonsense). Then my friend told me about NU Med Spa laser removal. I tried them out and I can't say enough to express my happiness. The place looks amazing. I went to nu med because the price per unit of Botox was 4.00 less than my doctor. Big mistake! It costs more than my doctor/plastic surgeon, who everyone knows in Los Angeles. The Botox took 14 days to see any results on my forehead. When I leave the doctors office my lines are pretty much gone. That evening! Sometimes you just have to post a review and for me I must say that Nu Med has been a blessing to me. First- I've had a bit of Botox prior to NuMed. Great. As well, Samira at NuMed is just super clearly great and she's an Botox expert. But and however now I am currently going through dissolving lip filler. It's terrible. It's terrible terrible it's painful. It's awful, but it's something that has to be done. So as well I am thankful for becoming a sort of"Botox client" of Samira whilst I've decided to go through this stuff. Together with my family we are so confident about this process. As well please note that I came to NuMed looking for a more sensible Botox situation but then my "migrating lip filler" became a clear medical necessity. Enough said. The staff there was super friendly and accommodating. Rose is the front office manager and so helpful and easy to work with. The Interior Spa was beautifully decorated and comfortable.The nurse, Elenore, that did the treatment explained everything and was very patient with my questions. I didn't feel like I was getting pushed to buy more than I needed. Prices were reasonable in a very competitive market. The results of the treatment were beyond my expectations.
