Super fun spot to hang out and watch a game, have a few drinks, and a delicious meal. I visited on a Saturday evening and the place was buzzing. We were able to snag a couple of bar seats quick and there was a table or two available for immediate seating. We were very promptly greeted by the bartender who was extremely friendly and attentive. The pizza rolls came recommended so we ordered those for an appetizer right away. They came our super quick even with how busy it was. These things were delicious. Think pizza meets egg roll. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich tossed in Mango Habanero sauce. The breast was HUGE and cooked to perfection with a nice kick to the sauce. There is also a decent cocktail list and tap beer selection. I would gladly recommend this bar to anyone and will absolutely be returning. read more

First time here and I will be back. The service was excellent and I felt the prices were fair for the taste and quality. I will order the deep fried pickles every time. They were seriously perfect. The buttermilk chicken sandwich was one of the highest quality ones I have ever had. For sure add a sauce to it. The Nashville Hot was not too hot and really smoky. I did not love that they used sweet or bread and butter pickles on the sandwich. I had to take them off because they were ruining the taste for me. Give me Dill or Give me Death! They serve Coke products. The staff was running their asses off and still very attentive. Solid visit. read more

Really enjoyed my time at Flask! I hadn't tried this place before because the menu was kind of small but I see now that I've been missing out! The interior is super cool. Decorated in a bunch of photos and different memorabilia. The drink menu is quite extensive and they do some really cool bourbon flights. I started with a cucumber Collins and I wear this tasted so good and refreshing. I was going to try a different drink but I just had to get a second one. My friend ordered the old fashion. I've never really enjoyed those before but this one was very tasty! Not too harsh. For an appetizer we started with the firecracker shrimp. These were absolutely delicious! And don't let the photo fool you, the portion was amazing. Could definitely be shared between 4 people and everyone would still get around 4-5 shrimp. For dinner I had the Buffalo chicken wrap. I really enjoyed this because it was pressed almost like a panini. It was refreshing to have a wrap that was warm and toasted. My friend had the shrimp street tacos and really enjoyed them. Over this place was pretty great! I'm definitely going to be coming back here soon. read more

Mankato doesn't have a lot of non-chain restaurants to choose from but this is one of them. Hands down recommend trying their deep fried pickles. It's a pickle spear that's wrapped in cheese then an egg roll which is deep fried. I had the fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was over fried which caused it to be a tad dry. Their serving sizes are quite generous. We got our order delivered, which the restaurant does themselves and not a 3rd party. Our order came with a free order of donuts which was a nice added touch! read more

Update: the food is so good, but the service kind of sucks. I've been back two times since I wrote that and they are really slow. Both times we ordered a second drink that never got delivered. Right now I'm updating this review while waiting forever for our waitress to come take my credit card so we can leave. And it doesn't matter if they've got one person behind the bar or four. They're just slow. But the firecracker shrimp are still the bomb! Original review I went there last night for some appetizers. I had nachos, firecracker shrimp, and pizza rolls. The nachos were good but nothing spectacular; they're nachos. Pretty much the same as what you get everywhere else. But the firecracker shrimp and the pizza rolls were amazing. I could have easily eaten my weight in those pizza rolls. Don't let the name of the firecracker shrimp scare you off. There's a little bit of flavor but it's not like it's going to burn your mouth or anything. They' really good. read more

Went there for a coworkers last day before transferring to another office. Service was excellent as were drinks and food. He left to get laid and make another baby so I was alone for awhile. Pretty soon another guy I used to work with showed up so the night was salvaged. Place was packed by 5:00 but never noticed as wait staff was so attentive. We stopped in for lunch at 11:45 am place had 2 other tables seated we received unbelievably slow service drinks took 20 min we ordered when the server took the drink order ,nothing challenging just burgers and fries waited another 20 min to get the food all of our orders were so overcooked the meat was crunchy and the buns were hard as rocks we had to flag down the server to get a drink refill remember we are 40 minutes in this so far . I can say the fries were ok but the rest the nearly uneatable...It was the WORST burger I have EVER HAD ....Unless you are into jerky burger with a crouton bun avoid at all cost..... Great stop. The fire cracker shrimp is out of this world( tip you can buy the sauce to go!). We also had the pizza rolls... delicious and the marina that went with was fantastic. Visited several times now. The food is fine. Main issue is 100% service. At one point I counted our young server serving 11-12 tables at once. STAFF YOUR RESTAURANT. If I go back and see that happening again, I'm turning around. We never got refills. We requested a certain game be put on a tv because we didn't want to arch Die Hard on mute... never happened. Can't blame the server, no one can effectively serve a dozen tables at once. Get it together, you've been open long enough now. They do the same thing at 3rd Street Station, that's why we don't go there anymore either. read more

Great place. My wife, daughter and her friend came in and we're pleasantly surprised. Great whiskey cocktails on par with some of the best bars in Kansas City.
