We work from home and are flexible on time so a postponement wasn't an issue but it was a harbinger of how things would go from there. Steve sent a crew the following Saturday. They worked for several hours in the front yard and then left without a word. We waited a few days to see if they would come back to finish. They did not. My husband contacted Steve about the remaining work and Steve sent a crew out again. This time, they finished the work. No one ever completed the irrigation audit. Because of the lack of communication and continuous need for follow-up, we have terminated our relationship with Earthtones. I will note that the crews did fine work but ultimately, I need a company that is reliable and communicative.

We did a walkthrough with one of the owners, and received a quote that we found reasonable. Six weeks later, they canceled our service out of nowhere because "our property is too large" for the crew. First of all, their two man crew was typically in and out in 20-30 minutes. Secondly, they never even notified us of their cancellation, they just didn't show up and let me know when I questioned why they never came. Thirdly, why would you provide us with a proposal after seeing the property if it is something you can't handle? It was a disappointing experience with them. So, I started searching on Yelp, and quite frankly, I liked the name "Addicted To Clean." My mother is OCD (not kidding on this part), and she is literally addicted to cleaning. Therefore, I figured I couldn't possibly go wrong with these people. Jessica and Craig came right on time, and they walked through the house with me and listened to my request. They started working right away, and when they were finished after 6 HOURS of cleaning, the house looked AMAZING. They even took the time to clean up my yard waste, change my air filter, wiped down all of the windows and sliding doors, and vacuumed until my green carpet turned green again. I could sit here and write down a whole list of what they did for me, but it is so long that I will leave it to your imagination. They never told me what to look for, I picked out the floor because the color was right. I'm a senior citizen I'm not a contractor. The floor was crap but it's all my fault is what they told me. The floor was damaged before I was able to move back in, how their installers or their contractor didn't see it is beyond me. Obviously they don't check their work. Was in contact with small claims court & the media, in the end they reimbursed me for their expenses on the floor which will help me cover about 75% of the price of a new floor and for the installers that I'm going to have to hire to rip up everything they did. What should have taken 4 to 6 weeks took over 3 months. I was surprised when Craig reached out to say he would be back to touch up the windows and told him that they were probably fine as the dust storm was mild. He still came by the following day. The crew that arrived did not speak English, rushed through the job, and the quality of the cleaning was poor. I had to go back and clean numerous streaks myself, and there was still bird droppings left on several windows afterward. The worst part, however, was the damage they caused to four of my window screens. One worker even knocked on my door to ask my husband to help bend a damaged screen back into shape and force it back into the window frame. The screens are now bent and damaged to the point that several windows can no longer be properly opened because the gaps are so large that bugs and debris can get inside. One window will not open at all because the damaged screen is obstructing it. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue and request reimbursement, they claimed the screens were already damaged before they arrived. That makes absolutely no sense considering we could open all of our windows before the cleaning, and now we cannot. My husband also sent photos of the damage, and they responded by claiming the photos were of "different windows." We are honest Christian people who simply wanted our windows cleaned and instead ended up with damaged property and a company refusing to take responsibility. With a baby on the way, we cannot afford the unexpected cost to replace multiple window screens ourselves. I mean you all saw that video! I have a small home about 1500sqft, one story, and the house was completely empty (zero furniture). Long story short I get the bill and it was for $800 not including the grout cleaning I had requested. I spoke with a manager and they were supposed to get back to me about what they could do... that was about 3 business days ago.
