I was provided with an "estimated hours time" to complete my move . . . everything in the house was packed and ready to load. Three men showed up late. One young guy was on his phone every time I walked outside to check progress on loading. A completely rude man kept asking to use my bathroom and then informed me I was out of toilet paper and did I have more. Needless to say I had a clogged toilet. They took more than twice the anticipated time to load the truck and behaved outrageously when I said I didn't have enough cash to pay them (since I planned for half the time). The man wanted to stay (alone) in my empty house while I went to the bank to get money. What kind of legitimate business demands payment in cash?! But the real reason I am writing this review is because most of what I loaded into the truck went into storage for a year. I just moved again and was able to unpack my things......crushed storage boxes, soo many broken items I can't even count, damaged furniture AND my very expensive commercial sized treadmill is broken. The day of the move I watched the bathroom idiot try to pick up the console by himself and as I was beginning to say, "don't....." - he dropped it upside down on my concrete drive. I was hopeful that since it was wrapped in foam and moving blankets it would be safe - but I should have known better. When I called the owner he started swearing at me and insisting everything was my fault and his men told him I was "difficult". Don't trust this man/company with your possessions! The clowns he hires to do the moving are unprofessional, rude, lazy and don't give a poo about how they treat your items.

I hired this company on 8/13/25, and the experience was awful from start to finish. They were scheduled for 9 AM but didn't arrive until after 10. The original quote was $379 for the first two hours with two movers and $169 for each additional hour (spoke with John). Without asking me, they decided to bring a third mover, which raised the rate to $515 for the first two hours and $239 for each additional hour. Jake assured me this would save money because the move would go faster, but instead, it dragged on for seven hours just to move some furniture and boxes. To make things worse, Jake didn't even have a proper receipt--he reused an old one and scribbled over it. During the move, they dropped my couch off the truck and broke both front legs. Jake admitted it, saying, "Well, that happens. I'll come back and fix it." We paid in full immediately (they also charge extra for credit card payments), but as of 9/19/25, the couch is still broken and Jake has never come back. Two guys showed up with a huge truck; took about 2 hours to load and drove the 60+ miles to my new home. He said he couldn't find anywhere to dispose of the plastic wrap - THERE WAS A GARBAGE CAN IN THE DRIVEWAY NEXT TO THEIR TRUCK, I was told they aren't responsible for cleaning up after the job. I told Fordson I felt taken advantage of, being alone and older, and that his employee was lying. They made no accommodation and essentially blew me off once they were paid. I then got another call stating between 9 & 10, they didn't arrive until a quarter to 11. Timing isn't the best. I had about 1BD worth of things. I had already taken things myself and had other things put in storage. I was quoted 6 hrs with a truck fee of 150. I was verbally told I wouldn't be charged for 2 hours but that conversation seemed to had been forgotten the day of moving. They state they accept cards and cash but somehow I wasn't informed the card machine was down until AFTER all my items were loaded onto the truck. I highly believe that should have been communicated BEFORE starting or a day earlier. Of course if you're a woman, you are gonna deal with flirtation which let's be honest is super annoying in any setting let alone one your paying for. A handle on my tv stand was snatched off by the older gentleman working (there were 3 guys). He says it was lose but looking at the holes in the door, that definitely was not the case. I was told to buy wood glue to repair it. Crazy, Ikr My pieces to my couch were put back together. They didn't have to disassemble anything prior because I had a friend there to assist with that. Then assembling things upon arrival we're not requested but them doing it on their own was cool with me. I saw other reviews stating the same thing previously but didn't think I would be taken advantage of in this manner as well. Be mindful they do not own a truck. So, I'm wondering if it would have been better for me to hire them for labor instead of paying $150 for the truck along with 960 quote and 70 per HALF HOUR after 6 hours. The quote was for 6 hours. I made it clear how long it would take to get to the destination and back. Hence why he said he would charge me for 2 working hours. After everything I paid over $1500 which is the same price as other competitors! I wasn't offer a military discount AT ALL, and I had to fuss about my cabinet being broken to get a little $50 off. I would say be mindful if you're going to hire them and be prepared to pay a lot more than your initially quoted. You may wanna stick with the other quotes you've gotten.

I had to re-pack countless boxes because they weren't taped, did not have packing material, and would not make the trip from Michigan to California. This company is not professional. Were they careful with our items? Yes. But...then, we had a few hiccups, of which the last was the one that would make me not recommend their services to others. Things that went wrong: 1.They arrived late. We did receive phone calls updating us, but still was frustrating as we expected to be done moving by the evening. 2. They showed up with 3 movers and we were apparently quoted for 2 movers. At no point was it asked if it was ok, or anything, and it wasn't mentioned until we were discussing payment, and Carlos told us that the discount from Angie's List included only 2 movers. 3. Carlos and his team didn't have the supplies to wrap furniture and didn't have enough moving blankets. In fact, as they unloaded the truck, I noticed that they used some of our throw blankets to protect the furniture without asking if that was ok. 4. Their truck wasn't big enough to fit all of our items in one trip. We were moving from a smaller house about 750 sq ft. We were asked over the phone how big our house was and approximately how many boxes we had. Carlos and his team made one trip with a full truck. Then we filled our cars and still had to go back the next day for the rest of our stuff. He offered that they would go make another trip for the rest of the items for the additional hourly charge. 5. Payment - this was the one that killed it for us. As others have mentioned, we were quoted an affordable price over the phone. We had a discount through Angie's List. The woman on the phone told us that we would be able to use that discount and quoted us accordingly. When all was said and done and it was time to pay, Carlos told us it was going to be $400 over what was quoted to us. We talked to him about it and he was not budging on what was quoted over the phone vs what he was charging us. We tried to negotiate since they were late and ran out of supplies at their previous job and since we had to load our cars with items and still go back for the rest. He would not compromise, and actually was upset that we were even questioning the issue. I have no problem paying for good service. I have no problem tipping for good service (I still tipped his team even though Carlos screwed us on pricing). I do have a problem with being quoted one amount and then being told to pay a DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT amount. He even had the audacity to ask us not to write a poor review. He clearly knows that what he is doing is wrong. Yes, he and his team work hard, but he should be upfront about the cost. It is not ok to quote one price and have such a large difference between your quote and actual cost. Customer service goes a long way, but he and his company certainly lacked in that area.

Devin and his crew were very nice, called me when they were about 30 minutes away and once they arrived. Gave me a detail explanation of the charges and within minutes, they were off to work.
