With that being said, for what it is, it is a great place for the hunter, camper, fisherman, and outdoorsmen to get all the necessities. They carry clothing and shoes for men, women children that are designed for the outdoor lifestyle. You can find all the basics and also clothes made for colder weather. Living in Montana, that is a must! In addition to clothing, they also carry tents, coolers, camping supplies, fishing supplies, guns, ammunition, knives, and much more. This store is always very well organized and very clean. One downside is that since it's on the smaller side, certain areas of the store, especially apparel, feel very tight and cramped with minimal space to walk. The cashiers are never overly friendly, in fact I have had some who barely said a word. I prefer to shop here over Bob Ward's because Bob Ward's overprices everything in their store, even sale items. Cabela's is much more reasonable and carries the same brands. They also seem to have frequent sales on some of the bigger brands which is a huge plus!

Surprise! We arrive and suddenly our Gift Card isn't valid for rentals. When we called ahead, again to avoid any surprises, no one told us the rentals can't be picked up in downtown. We designed our entire float and drop off plan around something you could have communicated to us to avoid a Waste of time We now had to pay out of pocket when not planning to and had to drive all over town just to rent. Never again from this company.

At first I wasn't a fan of the new company coming in but once they were around they were amazing to work with! The selection of brands in the clothing, shoes, and activity departments were really great! I loved the quality of the active wear and the winter jackets! I feel like the value of the company is so family friendly, It really focuses on the happiness of the customers! The policy's regarding returns is fairly flexible, and very generous. If anyone at the university, or high school students are looking for a job at the mall I highly recommend Bob Wards!!

I said like hell it is, the Hamilton store lets me bring it in - so it's clearly not a corporate policy. Treating customers like criminals is pretty tacky. It was a bike rack we'd purchased from another REI and had to get things replaced. I went up to the front counter and was met with a very weird attitude/criticism and weird looks that I didn't know to go to the bike counter in the back of the store(didn't even know there was a counter back there).... Got back to that counter and the bike guys were like no, you could have done this up there, no reason to haul the rack back here.... Otherwise a solid REI just a very weird social encounter that threw both my wife and I.
