Recently, she threw up blood on our evening walk and I called the clinic panicked. They gave us a thorough review of all our options without pressuring us for a full exam.. which is quite expensive.. The vet and techs gave her an injection to suppress vomiting as well as a medication to coat her stomach. She's also quite a picky eater so the team there gave us a few cans of plain food. It's been a few days now and she is back to 100%, normal poops and appetite. No throw ups. I'm so grateful for their guidance and availability. I think the quick response to suppress the vomiting and coat her stomach really helped her heal and prevent any further issues. Thank you to the staff and team! my pup really appreciates it

One star sounds harsh I know, but this is my honest assessment. I brought my 18 month old cat there…read moreat the recommendation of Left Hand Animal Hospital in Niwot. My cat was distressed after we brought a new kitten into the home (the kitten has been re-homed) She stopped eating, pottied on our bedroom pillows and was throwing up.Left Hand started her on IV fluids, found a sore on her tongue and then did blood work, no issues there. We went to Veg and they monitored her all night. They gave her meds for her barely existent fever (even they noted this in her notes). I believe they gave her an appetite stimulant as well. Next day she had an ultrasound showing nothing we didn't know about already know about, or that would have caused these issues. They treated her tongue and sent her home the next day. She didn't really improve a lot. They sent her home with some mouth wash for her tongue ulcer with instructions. The vile was empty when I went to give her her first treatment, and they are in Boulder while I am in Lyons so I couldn't pop over and get more, besides they told me if she was eating she didn't need it. She had eaten so I didn't worry. The next day she was vomiting again, acting strange and hiding. When I called about this they wanted me to bring her back. I asked about the meds they gave her and they said to keep giving them to her. Well, the med they prescribed for appetite, capromorelin, side effects are, ironically, vomiting and excessive salivation are the mose most commonly reported adverse effects in cats, and the FDA also lists decreased appetite, lethargy, and post-marketing reports of hiding. These were all the symptoms I was describing to the vet that answered the phone. They should know the side effects of the meds they prescibe. $3000.00 later I have a cat that could have healed better at home. The stress of the hospitalization at Veg contributed to two miserable days during and after my cat's visit there. I wouldn't recommend this Group to anyone. I will stand by that. I wish I could get my money back. They saw me coming.

I had her seeing my cats for a year, I changed my days to fit her schedule, then she decided to join another practice and when confronted about us not being able to continue to constantly changing the day she just up and cancelled all our very sick animals appointments. She acts like she knows everything, and because she's considered the only holistic vet in Boulder has a long waitlist which she always uses as leverage. Her heart is not invested in treating the animals, she rushes the acupuncture, barely does chiropractic adjustments and charges way too much as she continuously minimizes the appointment time, She left 3 very ill pets hanging as she joined Lap of Love. I told her I would use Lap of Love when it came time to put my babies down and she still just left me hanging. She is out of integrity and takes advantage of people's money for the care that she delivers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, thank god I was already looking for someone else and found an amazing practitioner that has outshined her by miles!

She obviously has a deep love of animals, and her care for mine gives me a great feeling. My dogs respond to her in a very positive way. I highly recommend her services.
