Last time I went, I was purchasing work boots for my daughter for xmas, Redbacks. I like to support local business and they give a small discount on workshoes. Luckily I checked the receipt because the young dude had not given me the discount. When I requested the discount, he explained that they only give the discount for people using them for WORK, assuming that my darling daughter would not be using them for work. He smugly noted that some people buy them and don't actually use them for work. I assured him that they would, indeed, be used for work and after a few more back and forths, he relented and gave me a discount. Like many of us in the valley, we own a vineyard and a winery plus two of us have jobs in conservation, so yeah, our entire family wears Redbacks. The weird sexist and possibly racist assumptions and patronizing attitude made me very sad. It's cool that they are in the valley but I'm not sure I'm headed back. See the photo? They always have a great variety of shoes, dresses, shirts, purses, and accessories in all sizes. You can tell people love consigning here because there's always something new and interesting on the racks. It sounds like if you're a local, you can get a card that keeps track of your store credit from consigning, which seems like such a fun and smart system. The store itself isn't overly crowded, which makes browsing really enjoyable and relaxing. The only small suggestion I'd have is to maybe reorganize the jewelry section near the front--sometimes it gets a little jammed with people coming in and out, so it'd be nice if there was a bit more flow there. Other than that, this place is a solid 10/10! Always a fun stop when I'm in the neighborhood.

I tried on three things and fell in love with two. The dress I wanted to purchase seemed to have poor adjustable straps and when I asked if there was any other dresses in my size with adjustable straps that didn't get stuck, the salesperson was really sweet and went to the back to grab me one. Unfortunately, the dress she gave me had worse straps and was not my size. I'm glad I checked because I would've purchased a dress not in my size had I not noticed. Do know that things are on the pricier side here. It is a boutique clothing store afterall. Since I am here for a birthday trip, I looked at it as a birthday purchase. Google said they were open at 10am. They happened to be open at 11am. I called.... Who I assume was the owner explained that they had a project going on and wouldn't be open until 11. When I explained my "situation" the worker came and unlocked the door for me. I bought 2 pair of underwear, (he paid for the third) and one of the best and favorite shirts that I have in my wardrobe.
