I fell in love with a pair of Frame Palazzo jeans that were way too long. I was just about to give up & Donna disappeared and came back two seconds later with the petite version in my size. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. No hemming. No tailoring. Donna and her staff were fast, helpful, and genuinely fun, even while I was clearly in mild shopping-panic mode. Left with jeans I'm obsessed with and huge appreciation for Donna and her team. They saved the day... and my marriage! Ha ha!!

We spent $35 for a bar of locally grown lavender infused soap and an 8 oz. tub of blood orange olive oil scrub. I couldn't resist, I just had to have these items. Well that and it was Lizzy's b day weekend so I was much more likely to hand over the cash than the other 364 days of the year. Our purchase also gave us a 10% discount card at the St. Helena Olive Oil Co., which is their sister store.

It is expensive, so beware. It is also a very nice store with very nice staff. It's the type of place that doesn't sell what you need, it sells what you suddenly really want. I would guess it also appeals more to women than to men. But then again, that could describe most of St. Helena.... I managed to make it out without buying anything...and then was haunted by a necklace by Jeanine Payer for a week. The woman remembered me trying it on and happily put it on hold...even though I had completely left the county, not to mention the area. Two days later it was easy and delightful to pay for it by phone and have it shipped. It arrived in only two days, beautifully gift wrapped even though I'd purchased it for myself.
