I had an issue with the bike (not the store's fault) and they quickly brought a replacement bike out to me in the middle of my ride. They were pleasant, easy to deal with and efficient the whole way through. By the way - the ride itself was fantastic. I took a 40-mile loop following a very popular route that was recommended by several sources I consulted. Low traffic, great scenery -- a fun way to spend the afternoon.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing, mainly due to poor planning by the staff. We booked for four people on a Thursday - my wife, myself, and our two teens (14 and 16)--with the expectation that we'd have two boats, which is standard for this group size. However, the team miscounted the boats that morning. When we pointed this out, instead of fixing the mistake, they pulled us aside and crammed all four of us into a boat intended for three, squeezing in an extra seat to make it "fit." Visibly frustrated, the team promised to speak with the owner and make it right (it was two high schoolers running it that day). I didn't argue and wanted to at least try to have a good time and not be that Dad. The result on the boat? A very cramped and uncomfortable setup that made the inflatable much harder to steer and navigate--especially on a 9-mile river trip. This wasn't the experience we paid for or expected based on our prior trips. The staff seemed more focused on moving us along rather than making it right. Still haven't heard from the owner. We'll likely explore other options next time around. Disappointed to see the service slip like this.

Mackenzie, Kelly, and the other ladies we met upon arriving to the shop greeted us with so much enthusiasm and kindness! Before we even stepped foot into the shop, our bikes were already conveniently sitting outside the shop, ready to go. Everything is so well organized from the tools they provide (i.e. Storage bag on the bike, water bottle holder, bike map) to the instructions they give. Mackenzie gave us the run-down on which trails and Wineries we might want to visit during our ride which we appreciated greatly. While I've gotten lucky and found some gems in the past, this last time I struck out. I was looking for golf polos specifically and the selection was limited to a single rack with just a couple of standard options. The same shirt I saw at the clearance store in San Leandro for $19.99 was $39.99 here. The shoe and apparel selection was pretty mid this time around. The difference between a factory store and clearance is that the factory store will run more weekly flash sales. So depending on the flash sale that week, you'll be able to get some good deals from time to time. Other than that, the discounts are similar to what I'd find through the Nike app.
