Cheap, authentic Mexican food - everything that you could hope for. We need more places like this - family run restaurant, priced right with good flavor. Tacos are $2 a piece so I decided to try 3 of them. I got the bistec, carnitas and chicharron and all are pretty good. Today they only had corn tortillas, which saddened me at first, but these were amongst the better corn tortillas I've had in my life - its shocking that they're almost as soft and pliable as flour ones with better flavor. And the meats are pretty juicy and flavorful. Of the three, I liked the bistec the best - beefy, meaty flavor that's well seasoned. Chicarron probably comes in second - surprisingly spicy, yet flavorful but sadly loses that crispness that I like in my pig skin, which in turn made it chewy instead. The carnitas are alright. They cook everything to order, including making the tortillas fresh so it could take a while to get your food, so not the best place to go if you're in a rush but you will definitely get an amazing homemade meal if you're willing to stay. read more

In a town full of tacos it's a big deal to call any of them the best. But seriously, the veggie tacos at Flavia's are without question the most delicious. I'm not a vegetarian but they are my favorite here. The meat-filled tacos are great too (really, really great), and the corn tortillas are hot, fluffy and hold up to the fillings.....so good! I love Flavia's and feel lucky to live so close so I can eat well while supporting a wonderful small business. read more

This was my first time to Flavia's, and I am SOLD. I got the breakfast tostada, potato breakfast taco, avocado tostada, and cucumber agua fresca. All tasted super fresh; the tostadas were crispy, but not greasy, and the homemade corn tortilla was very flavorful. The tomatillo salsa was a revelation. It was tangy, fruity, and slightly spicy, with just enough cilantro and garlic to add complexity. I got my food to go, and everything was nicely packaged, with plenty of napkins for the mess I made in my enthusiasm. The prices were reasonable (I paid $9 before tip for what served as a solid lunch). I will definitely be back! read more

Delicious tacos at a reasonable price! I happened to get there right as they opened, and their breakfast tacos hit the spot. They're located in a small area with parking and several other food trucks. There is outdoor seating with umbrellas and some shaded seating. The tacos were great but I didn't return because they took my order without a smile and then flipped the screen around asking for a 20% tip minimum. This left a bad taste, even if the tacos are good. If you're going to ask for a tip without providing any service, at least muster a smile or something. read more

This (single mother) woman-owned business and her story are incredible. Food tastes absolutely homemade reminds me of my immigrant mother's cooking. Very affordable. That lot is lucky to have Flavia's Kitchen but I'll follow her wherever she goes. My favorite is the gorditas plate. 10/10 She also caters - for business conferences and meetings, school functions, weddings etc. Best and most precious thing about the business is that her teenage daughters help her run the truck. I wish this place was open more days during the week, but you can't beat a $2.50 Gordita loaded up with lots of deliciousness! These things are huge as well. Only open Fri-Sun until 8pm, but definitely worth the visit. The juiced watermelon is yummy and refreshing. read more

If you haven't stopped by yet you have to make a special trip on Saturdays for their posole. After finding this food truck park and trying a few of the other spots here, which are also very well rated, I was very happy to try Flavia's and see that it too is delicious. The food here is authentic Mexican food, and pretty cheap. The service is friendly, and the food is made to order so while it takes a bit, it's definitely worth it. She does make some great tacos here. She takes the extra time to make sure you get good quality food and good customer service. When I was there I really didn't feel like walking across the street for coffee. So , she was nice enough to offer me some of hers at no charge. She told me she always keeps coffee in the trailer for herself. So I just gave a bigger tip. She also says to let her know if I ever want to bring a group of people, like for a birthday brunch and she will prepare a special table for us. And my birthday is April 7. Lol.
