Bottom line: delicious, fresh, unique food! I always get the veggie wrap and the contents vary by what is fresh that season but it always tastes out of this world. The house sauce is amazing! Since the new owners took over service remains the one challenge of this place... It is always slow, slow. They are very nice, but it is usually disorganized (this hasn't changed with new owners). I would have given this 5 stars if they didn't have such weird hours. I crave their hummus all the time, but last time i went it was served with beans in it which was pretty disgusting. Other than that one time, everything I've tried has been incredibly filling and delicious. read more

I stopped here while on an errand in Centerville yesterday by recommendation of a local. The lady working the counter was really sweet and silly and made me smile! I got the red bell pepper salad. The "baby" size with chicken made 2 meals for me. It was delicious. I also thought the coffee was pretty good. I will definitely go back if I'm in C-ville again anytime. I was traveling for work & wanted something relatively healthy, unique, & local. I came across this place on yelp & decided to give it a try. I didn't have a lot of time so decided to call ahead for takeout. They have limited hours: 11-5 & stay open til about 6 for takeout orders. When I called to place my order the owner wasn't very helpful on the phone. I looked at their menu online but it doesn't have a lot of detail so I wanted to know more about the dishes. I asked what was a part of the Simply Gorgeous Salad (SGS) & she never really answered me. I told her I was considering the sandwich & salad combo. Instead of telling me what the sandwich was like & the SGS she started talking a bunch about people who don't want carbs &/or gluten free ordering that w/o the bread or as a lettuce wrap or just the sandwich stuff on top of the salad. That was really not what I was asking. In the middle of that she told me she needed to help a customer & would be right back. I heard a bunch of muffled sounds & was starting to feel impatient & frustrated. It felt like I was inconveniencing her by needing more info about her menu. She finally came back to the phone & I decided not to ask anymore questions & take a risk & just go with the combo -- SGS & turkey sandwich. Giving up & just ordering would have been a problem if I had some real dietary restrictions. Even though this place has lots of vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc options she didn't seem very in tune with helping me understand the menu & discover just what I wanted. So if you have specific dietary needs, ordering in person might go more smoothly for you. After I ordered I was still not totally sure what I was going to end up with. When I arrived she was a lot more friendly in person. I could see she is very enthusiastic & friendly (just not over the phone apparently). I felt very welcomed, but she seems like someone who is easily distracted so I better understood why my experience was the way it was over the phone. I had a few minutes so I decided to sit at one of the patio tables outside to eat part of my meal. When I opened the box I could not believe how much food was in there! It was an interesting combo: sandwich, salad, salsa, tortilla chips, some sort of white dressing/sauce. The salad had so many veggies & toppings in it: radishes, carrots, kidney beans, yellow beans, green beans, sunflower seeds, snap peas, peppers (& prob some others I've forgotten). The dressing/sauce was kind of drizzled over everything in the box. I'm not sure what it was but it seemed similar to ranch. It was really good. As I sat outside eating the owner came out to see if everything was ok for me. She saw I didn't have a drink (I'd left my water bottle in the car) & brought me a glass of water. I really appreciated that. The food was really delicious & I'm glad I picked this place. I have to say, though, that if you're the type if person who doesn't like your food to touch, then this is NOT the place for you! Everything was all mixed together. I liked it but know people who would not have. I can tell the owner is eclectic & creative. It came across in the decor of the place & the food. The restaurant was very cute & cozey. Overall, my in person experience & the food itself redeemed my initial negative impressions over the phone. It was great to find a unique place with interesting & healthy food while I was in town for work. If I'm back in the area, this place is on the list to return to. read more

I have been eating at this restaurant with my girlfriend since November 2008. The food is delicious, healthy and pleasantly filling. The workers are very friendly as well and the service is excellent. The owners are very personable and we have come to know them very well. This will be my last visit. They must have been short staffed. I stood in line to order for 10 minutes. When the order was taken for the people in front of me the man taking the order turned and walked away without so much as a be with you in a few. When I called to complain his only comment was that I had not waited that long and he hung up. While waiting I watched a woman preparing and serving food wearing a knit hat with pom poms on strings that hung down below her shoulders. My favorite place to go for lunch and I almost always get the same thing...Simply Gorgeous Salad. I have been here many times and never been disappointed. I would not recommend it for someone who is a meat and potato kind of person, although they do have a few choices for them. I just had lunch for the first time at Flavors with a couple friends and had a terrible experience over some french fries. To make a long story short, there was a problem with our order. The mistake could have been ours or theirs, to me that really wasn't the point. When I tried to get the fries I thought that we had ordered, we were treated very rudely by 3 different employees. The situation was handled so badly. If you can't be courteous to customers, get out of the service business. I left very upset and will never go back. read more

I really Want to like this place but after two disappointing experiences I doubt I will go back. It seems like no matter what you order, your food is likely to come in a pile that contains a mishmash of random veggies and tortilla chips all drizzled with some type of sauce.(literally everything on my plate had green beans in it) I ordered a chicken sandwich. I thought that sounded safe... First the Paper Plate, was so loaded with food it was hard to even get to the sandwich. Then, the sandwich was so loaded with stuff that it was totally falling apart and the bread was broken up. So I asked then to give me new bread. They were Very nice about it, however, the sandwich ended up not even tasting good. I ordered a peanut butter and apple sandwich for my son. I figured it would have thin sliced apples and peanut butter on bread. I even asked about the sandwich when I ordered. What we got was cut up semi-cooked apples, sliced, with peanut butter in between them. It was a total mess on the plate!!!! Peanut butter was all over the place. You had to eat it with a fork so i don't think that qualifies as a peanut butter sandwich. The last time I went I ordered a kids pizza for my son and we got a triangle of baked dry pita bread with sauce and cheese. Just not good. This place could be great but it is just a let down. Just because you serve a pile of food doesn't mean its going to be good. Further, if I'm going to pay the prices I'd rather not eat off of a cheap paper plate. Just saying. read more
