Watermelon sorbet, and lemon cake sorbet
    Christa F.

I left a meeting and headed downtown to a coffee shop where I could set up and work. I just so happened to find a parking spot in front of this restaurant and said that I should opt for some sorbet instead of coffee while I worked. So glad I did. I had the chance to try a few of the options where the blood orange sorbet was my absolute favorite, but they were out of enough for serving. I opted for the lemon cake and the watermelon sorbet and they were so good as well. Then I had a chance to plug-in and work at one of the tables there. They have connections all along the wall so it's a great place to get a great treat and work. Don't sleep on this place. My only regret is that the music was kind of loud so I couldn't make any phone calls there. Otherwise a tree and a spot to work is just a thing. Treat yourself.

We found this ice cream place when searching for desserts. I was immediately interested when I saw they made gelato in house. We were not greeted when we walked in but the cashier was a little quiet so she may have and I just didn't hear her. Everything looked pretty clean, but the bathroom could have used some attention. There is plenty of seating but was a tad loud. (Maybe because of high ceilings and there was a large group there when we first arrived) They have a broad selection of gelato. They also have smoothies, shakes, sundaes, build your own crepe or waffle and cups or Cones. I ordered the biscoff gelato and it was so creamy and taste just like biscoff. (1 scoop was plenty for me). But they have 2,3 and build your own pint size. When we left the gentleman upfront (maybe the owner) greeted us and asked if we enjoyed. Very friendly Tip: Park down the street so you have to walk to get gelatto and then you can walk back and explore the book store and other shops. (Plus burn a few of those calories )

I stopped in here after my girls walk to grab a smoothie. I chose the tropical paradise with oak milk as the base. Unfortunately, they didn't have enough oat milk to make a full smoothie so I went with coconut milk instead. The staff was helpful but I wish they would have communicated a bit better - I waited a long time for my smoothie because the milk was frozen. I enjoyed the decor - especially the mural in the front.

This place came up on Apple Maps while I was looking for something else. I drove an hour away to visit. (ICE CREAM IS MY FAVORITE FOOD GROUP!) There's plenty of parking in the front and nearby parking lots. The shop was very clean and colorful decor but cozy. They offer seating in the back of the shop. The young lady was very helpful and gave recommendations. The prices are reasonable. The gelato flavors are different, out of the ordinary basic flavors. Run, don't walk to this place. I can't wait to go back and try other flavors and drinks. They offer different drinks and crêpes as well. I'm excited already.

One of my favorite dessert spots around. The strawberry Nutella crepe is amazing, and the ambiance is always great without being crowded. Quick PSA to be mindful of your belongings... I had my phone stolen from my car during a to-go pickup. Still doesn't stop me from coming back though :) the desserts are delicious.

I went here to catch up with a friend, and it was pretty decent. There were fun ice cream flavors and lots of opportunities to mix and match. The employee was very kind and bubbly and gave great recommendations for flavors, which I appreciated. There was good seating inside, and it was very spacious and clean. The ice cream itself was nothing very special, but it was solid and I enjoyed being able to try 3 different ones. I liked the pistachio and strawberry cheesecake the best. Overall, nothing outstanding and wouldn't go out of my way to be a regular customer, but it is a nice place to come with friends.

Stopped in today for an afternoon treat! I got cookies and cream gelato, and it was perfectly creamy and tasty Just what I needed on a warm afternoon. They have several flavors pictured below. We'll definitely have to try more of these out over the summer when we are downtown. Only downside is parking downtown can be difficult to find especially during busier hours, so make sure to go in the middle of the day or be ready to walk

Newly opened dessert spot in downtown Greensboro! I got their biscoff-it crepe and it was one of my first crepe's ever, the person making it absolutely knew what he was doing because it was amazing! They served it with some ice cream on the side as well. The owner makes all the gelato himself, a lot of the ingredients are made in house and you can tell the food is fresh! Will definitely be back!

Really nice use for what was The Selfie Spot. They just opened but already the interior looks great and you can see how it's going to develop over the next couple of months. The gelato is fantastic and they'll be adding hot chocolate and so many other things service was perfect and the gelato choices while relatively limited, hit all the notes. Very European with an American twist. I would still argue that Greensboro could use a dedicated ice cream parlor but they've definitely filled my gelato needs. Highly recommended, great value, and a great future.

The gelato is amazing! We had the cookies and cream, double chocolate chip, and the PBX (peanut butter cup and butterfinger). It melts a little quicker than regular ice cream but you shouldn't worry about that because it's so good it goes quick! The location and price point that is a bit higher than others (though worth it for quality) will likely make it a rare treat, but it's on my summer downtown treat list.

Another new place downtown worth you giving it a chance. Ice cream, baked goods, crepes and other sweet treats.

Flavor was good on the gelato. I went basic and didn't try any of the main menu items. Service was quick. Convenient location. Cute interior w seating in the back. Will have to go back and try something more extravagant haha.

The biscoff cookie sundae is everything!! I'm a big fan of cookie butter and this is the dream! It's speculous cookie butter gelato, plus biscoff syrup, plus cookie dough and biscoff crumbs. Topped with whipped cream! Real talk, i stopped by in the evening by myself and have no regrets! They are open until 11 pm!

But, I do need to advise anyone who is unwaveringly accustomed to the Italian and Portuguese bakeries of New England (at least in the 1980s), and similar places, the pastries here aren't quite at that level. The pastries I tried were a little dense and shriveled, with a slight sour taste (which could've also been due to some uneven baking, erring on the overbaked side). In an apple filled item, the small amount of apples weren't quite soft and sweet enough, as well. Overall, the pastries were nearer to those of a very talented home baker than the polished work of a traditional professional pastry shop. Of course, for this specific region, this will be an enjoyable stop. With that in mind, I'm not surprised there are long lines; it must be very exciting to encounter a shop like this for the first time. There are very few other bakeries making pastries of this type, much less good ones. It's very, very hard to make excellent pastries. But, if you come from a land rich with bakeries, just set your expectations appropriately. Plus, there is the critical difference between New England and North Carolina bakeries: Would you rather have pastries that are sensational from sullen and unpredictably snappish people? ...or pastries that are decent and charming from laid-back and friendly people?

I've had the Strawberry Shortcake Jelati before, and thought it tasted JUST like the strawberry shortcake icecream bars you get from an ice cream truck or a gas station. Like it was uncanny. Today, I decided to try the Strawberry Shortcake Jelati but with cherry Italian ice instead, because that's my favorite flavor. A Cherry Shortcake, if you will. It was so good. I haven't tried all of the combinations yet, but I can definitively say at this point that the fruit flavored Italian Ice + vanilla ice cream combos really hit the spot. The ice cream is extremely smooth, rich, and creamy. Not a grain of ice to be found. Combine that with the extra sweetness and slight acidity of a fruit flavored ice? Perfection. The cookie butter crumbles (aka biscoff) really bring it home, with a slight crunch and mild butteriness that help cut a little bit of the sweetness. It's truly the perfect combo. They are also really good at layering everything, and even though the drive-through was backed up and it was almost closing time, they layered everything perfectly and didn't skimp on anything. I even had a, visible from the outside, layer of cookie butter crumbles in the middle! Top tier service. As an added bonus, the portions are generous. For under $5, I got a "small" that was plenty satiating (and I am not someone who generally fills up quickly).

My kiddo ordered the Mango Tango, which is a mix of orange and mango Italian ice, vanilla soft serve, and rainbow sprinkles; she was thrilled, and the kiddie size was perfect for her. She's already asking to go back. The servers are so friendly and helpful; they seem to really enjoy what they do.
