It's always interesting hearing how local businesses get started, and this one felt very organic and community driven. He's even appeared on Food Network shows like Holiday Baking Championship and Chopped, which has helped bring visitors from out of state to High Point just to try the cheesecake. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced by a fresh side salad. I paired it with a café au lait, which was equally well done. The ambiance is effortlessly chic--very much reminiscent of a European café--and it was lively during lunch. It's the kind of place where you can sit, linger, and people-watch... and SouthPark definitely showed up in style. At one point, several guests seated near us were speaking French, which added to the authenticity and overall experience. Service was warm and efficient, even with the crowd. The bakery itself is on the smaller side--you order inside and then head outside to sit and eat. I went on a Sunday, so it was very busy with a long line, but it moved quickly. When seating fills up, the neighboring restaurant allows use of their patio, which is a thoughtful touch. My friend enjoyed her quiche as well, and we both agreed it's a spot worth returning to--whether for a casual lunch, coffee, or a pastry break. You'll immediately notice the bright yellow awning--it's cheerful and inviting--and inside, the bakery is just as charming. As soon as I placed the order, I sent a text message to confirm if my order went through and to see if I could get it delivered instead, which wasn't a problem at all! I was also given a timeframe of when Damien would bake and ship out my goods, which was accurate and fast. The hardest part was waiting for it to be delivered, which was 2 long days but that's only because I'm impatient. When I did receive my order which was on Saturday, March 4th, everything was wrapped up perfectly in bubble wrap. Almost all of the cookies were in perfect condition but that's only because the mail lady had the box flipped on the side. I couldn't wait until desert time, so I opened a pack of 3 cookies that come pre-wrapped, and left no crumbs, they're THAT delicious. After eating a normal meal, I cracked open the Peach Cobbler that came in two large mason jars. It's honestly the greatest thing ever. I ate about 1/4 of that mason jar in one sitting before stopping myself. Everything tasted super fresh If you're considering ordering, stop thinking about it and just do it, you won't regret it.

I've been in order Ice Cream Parlors that serve Hershey's Ice Cream before and was aware of the many flavors they have to offer, but here besides the 64 flavors, they seem to have a variety of ways to have your ice cream, as well as other items such as smoothies and frozen lemonade, just to name a few. And to motivate you to explore the different ways of having your ice cream, they have pictures on the wall showing them. Even though the place was small with very few tables and chairs, it was already decorated for the Fall with colored leaves all over and small pumpkins on the table, creating a festive ambiance in which to enjoy some good ice cream. A young lady greated me with a smile and gave me a warm welcome. Since I was in the area to attend a Dinner Party that evening, I didn't want to get anything large; just a medium size cup of a nice flavor ice cream.
