This heat wave called for a nice cooling treat. I came into Boza and they did not disappoint. I again got a coconut gelato and it didn't disappoint. I like mine plain but I did see that you can get a free drizzle on it or a free topping. I might try that next time. If the heats too much for you go cool off with Boza! They have a variety of different flavors and different options on the menu. read more

This was my first time in. There was no one there when we arrived. The place is so clean and pretty. It's a very relaxed, aesthetic not overwhelming with too many things around. I tried a lot of flavors because there were so many. I also tried Bosa and learned a little about it and gelato. I ended up going with regular blueberry cheesecake ice cream. It was so good. I do think it is a little bit pricier than some other ice cream places I've been to before, but it was really good. read more

First time at Boza! Yum! We had the Dubai chocolate, Cookie Monster, and Oreo milkshakes. Both were so good! Also love the branding and modern decor. Simple but beautiful. There was only one guy working and about 15 people waiting to order/get their order so was a little chaotic but started to settle by the time we were leaving. Definitely want to try the Dubai strawberry cup next time. They were out of a few items on the menu so couldn't order what we wanted at the time. read more

I have now been to Boza Creamery twice now. Both experiences were great. The first time I went I got the Dubai chocolate bar and baklava scoop. This most recent visit they had 1/2 off scoops and I got the cookie 2 step. It was delicious and was packed full of Oreos and chocolate chip cookie dough. The service was great and very patient with our group and the shop itself is adorable. Very cute environment to meet up with friends and enjoy a lil sweet treat. read more

Finally went here after we visited them at their opening and was glad to see the same quality and attention to detail. The flavors were all on point and the prixes looked great and on top of that they had a 40% discount on all ice creams which is always super welcome! The portions are great, the staff is super nice and quick in their work and the ambience is that of a typical ice cream parlor. Relaxed and fun! Finally got to try out this spot and it's incredibly delicious! There are so many unique gelato flavors to choose from. I ended up sampling a ton of them because they all sounded so good. Everything was fantastic and tasted so fresh and unique compared to other gelato spots. I really enjoyed the lemon cheesecake and pistachio almond ice cream. I also got the loaded chocolate chip cookie and that cookie was INSANE... so warm and perfectly gooey, I need to go back just for that. I also got a pistachio latte that was incredibly good. There were so many flavors to pick from. I tried there gelato flight. There flight comes with a choice of 4 flavors. I choose the baklava with pistachios, chai, ferrero rocher and guava. Every flavor was very delicous. The gelato is smooth and not too creamy. It tasted just right. The flavors were all present and not too strong. My favorites of all was the baklava and pistachios it had bits of crushed baklava in it, my second favorite I tried is the Guava, it was not to tarty and so refreshing. Will be a repeat customer :) My family got some different flavors and said it was all good. There is some tables inside and outside to enjoy. read more

Boza is the place to go for a sweet treat. Their menu has gelato, Booza( the stretchy ice cream!), Iced coffee, and some bakery items. They even have the ice cream with a shot of espresso (Affogato) which I want to try next. Saturday and Sunday only, they are serving up the Viral Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cups until they run out. So get there early if you want to try one for yourself. I was the first in store today. And let me tell you the store was clean and the customer service was phenomenal. They do come with a pricetag so be prepared for the $19 you will pay for this cup. Come with a friend and share it if you are on a budget. I gave Boza 5 stars based on cleanliness, the freshness of the strawberries and the kindness of the staff. Way to go Boza, keep up the smiles on your faces and serving sweet treats to the Greensboro area. I will be back! read more

Walking inside the establishment the atmosphere was quiet I was greeted by the person behind the counter and left to look at the menu. For the 2 items I did purchase cost $33. The Dubai strawberry cup did taste like it had dark chocolate in it and milk chocolate I could tell the difference between the bitterness of the dark vs milk chocolate and the dark chocolate seemed to seized up quicker leaving chunky pieces in the cup which I did not like. It also wouldn't hurt if the person behind the counter would make suggestions for first timers coming to the business, for me this would be helpful instead of me guessing what is what. I would like to revisit due to the fact it was a lot on the board and maybe bringing someone can help me better understand and pair items together to get a better experience. read more

Stopped here on accident after being in the area. A cute Mediterranean inspired take on an ice cream shop. The decor is beautiful, sleek and clean. I went maybe 20 minutes before close behind a party with 3 kids and staff was nice, patient and helpful the entire time to myself and them. Even offering me some additional comments on the origins and owners of the location. They have a great location, price point and some unique offerings with waffle sandwiches that I ate 2 quickly to snap a photo off. I am in love with this creamery ! I tried three things. The loaded dessert, milkshake, and the strawberry cup. If you're looking to try the Dubai strawberry's that are breaking the internet go here ! It was absolutely delicious ! The fresh sweet strawberries with good quality chocolate, pistachios/ pistachio butter and kataifi. The crunch with the smooth and sweet and salty dynamic was amazing. The loaded dessert. I had the Dubai inspired chocolate cake. It was moist and delicious. I enjoyed the moist cake with the crunchy coating. I paired it with salted caramel and biscoff gelato. Caramel and pistachio drizzle. The cake was not too sweet so paired with the gelato it was to die for. The milk shake. I tried the blueberry cheesecake ! Let me tell you now it was the best ! The cheesecake flavor was soft and decadent. Then the blueberry gave real blueberries. I do not like canned or artificial blueberry flavoring and this was not that. It tasted like true blueberries and cheese cake I was drinking. I was also able to get oat milk in my milkshake instead of whole. Service wise I was very impressed. Kimberly helped me ! She was the sweetest. I asked a billion questions and she answered them all. She also let me taste so many flavors. I even tried the Arabic flavors they had and loved it as well. Her customer service was the absolute best. The creamery is in a cute location and I love the decor. Everything is on theme and chic. The staff were very friendly. This interior is very modern, cute and simplistic. They had a lot of tempting choices. You are able to sample before buying. They have sundaes and waffles. I settled on coffee flavor single waffle cone. It was so delicious. The server let us sample their homemade whipped cream. It was so tasty. My friend and I indulged in our ice cream outdoors. In my next visit I'm going to come with an empty stomach so I can try their waffle sundae. Such a cozy spot. I will definitely return! read more

If you're looking for sweets and coffee that is open late, they have a few tables where you can hang out at until midnight. Most people come in and take their orders to go. They have the viral Dubai chocolate, but I don't get the hype. Belgain waffles, gelato, milkshakes, brownies, they have them. They also have the Dubai strawberry chocolate cup on weekends. They are too busy that the restroom didn't have toilet paper when I used it so check first before coming in. They did have TP in their stock cabinet but it was too late for me. This place was recommended to me a few weeks ago and I saw it the last time o went to a neighboring business. I tried the viral Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and the baklava. Both were good. The strawberry cup is all the rage on TikTok and while it is good, I'm not sure it is $19 good. It wasn't something that I'll crave and want more of. The baklava is tasty and nicely priced ($7). The piece you get here is larger than you would normally receive at other places. The staff was nice and they were helpful. There are a couple of tables in the location but is set up more for a to-go type situation. They do have ice cream and gelato I want to try so for that, I will return. read more

This is a cute little shop next to Maxie B's. It is definitely Instagram worthy. The service was amazing! The server was extremely attentive kind she didn't rush anyone. Interior was nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly. We ordered half-half (vanilla, cappuccino) over brownie, and baklava to share. My parents like the vanilla because it is very creamy, I like the cappuccino more and surprisingly eating it with brownie does not make it taste overly sweet. The baklava is nice, the nut layer may be bit hard but overall it is a good one. This place can be considered as an upscale ice cream place. read more

This is the second time I have experienced this delightful place. First time was door dash. We ordered a few different flavors which were all delicious and cold when it arrived. My teen daughter said, "Is this a new place, this might be the best icecream I ever had". Second time was in person with my youngest daughter who more than approved of her monster icecream but who was delighted with the friendly staff who surprised her with a sample of 4 different kinds of icecream/gelato. All sooo good! Her favorite was superman. My favorite was rush hour which was a coffee/Caramel concoction. Everyone is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is equally pleasant with the option to enjoy your cold or baked treats inside or outside. But, I do need to advise anyone who is unwaveringly accustomed to the Italian and Portuguese bakeries of New England (at least in the 1980s), and similar places, the pastries here aren't quite at that level. The pastries I tried were a little dense and shriveled, with a slight sour taste (which could've also been due to some uneven baking, erring on the overbaked side). In an apple filled item, the small amount of apples weren't quite soft and sweet enough, as well. Overall, the pastries were nearer to those of a very talented home baker than the polished work of a traditional professional pastry shop. Of course, for this specific region, this will be an enjoyable stop. With that in mind, I'm not surprised there are long lines; it must be very exciting to encounter a shop like this for the first time. There are very few other bakeries making pastries of this type, much less good ones. It's very, very hard to make excellent pastries. But, if you come from a land rich with bakeries, just set your expectations appropriately. Plus, there is the critical difference between New England and North Carolina bakeries: Would you rather have pastries that are sensational from sullen and unpredictably snappish people? ...or pastries that are decent and charming from laid-back and friendly people?

The ice cream is extremely smooth, rich, and creamy. Not a grain of ice to be found. Combine that with the extra sweetness and slight acidity of a fruit flavored ice? Perfection. The cookie butter crumbles (aka biscoff) really bring it home, with a slight crunch and mild butteriness that help cut a little bit of the sweetness. It's truly the perfect combo. They are also really good at layering everything, and even though the drive-through was backed up and it was almost closing time, they layered everything perfectly and didn't skimp on anything. I even had a, visible from the outside, layer of cookie butter crumbles in the middle! Top tier service. As an added bonus, the portions are generous. For under $5, I got a "small" that was plenty satiating (and I am not someone who generally fills up quickly).

By the time I left around 6, there were people standing and waiting to be seated. The patio was open with one couple enjoying the nice weather and relative quiet of outdoors. Embur recently relocated to Smyres Place in Greensboro and the new space feels much smaller than I expected. The design reminded me of what I imagine a modern restaurant in Peru might look like. Industrial with solid wood floors, warm finishes, and a large wine display. There are around 25 to 26 tables, mostly two tops and four tops. The largest table seats six, but they will push tables together for larger groups. While I was there, a group of more than 20 came in celebrating something and they were seated quickly without disrupting the rest of the room. The small patio has outdoor seating with about 8 tables and a they have bar area with about nine comfortable seats. The menu took me a minute to understand but I ended up liking the setup. You choose your entrée, which comes with set ingredients, and then choose your protein. Each protein has a different price, so you can control the cost of your meal somewhat. Most menu items can also be made gluten free according to the menu, and vegetarian options seem easy to do. For my appetizer, I ordered the flatbread. Perfection. Rosemary, olive oil, sea salt. Crispy outside, soft inside, and so flavorful I almost ate the whole thing before my meal was served. The server came with water right away and remain attentive but not intrusive the whole time. For my entree, I ordered the Arroz Chaufa with salmon. Arroz Chaufa literally means fried rice. At first the dish seemed a bit salty to me, but once I added the green sauce that comes with it (served on the side), everything balanced out. The green sauce has very mild heat, so if you are not a fan of spicy food, that is the one I would recommend. There is a list of sauces so I assume you can customize your entree. According to my server, the other sauces bring more heat. The salmon was excellent, well seasoned but not too much, and moist. The portion was ample. I was very hungry but I had leftovers to bring home. Service was exactly what I want when dining alone. Attentive without being intrusive. I watched Netflix while I ate and enjoyed my meal without feeling rushed or bothered. The noise level is average for a busy small restaurant. Comfortable enough to relax, but if you want to talk to someone in your group a couple of seats away, you will need your outside voice. This place feels upscale without being fussy, so expected to pay more than average, but I thought it was good value for the quality and portions. I loved this restaurant and will absolutely go back. Must order: Rosemary flatbread appetizer. Tip: Ask about sauce heat before ordering. If you do not like spicy food, start with the green sauce.
