Oh my God this is such a hidden gem in Greensboro! I found out the lady that help me is Romanian, they make everything in house. There are so many options such as cakes, quiche, cookies, bread and so much more. I ordered the jalapeno bread roll. The cheese was magnificent and they even warm it up for you upon request. Also saw the pecan sticky bun, so glad I got it for later! There so many pecans and honestly never had anything like it. The jalapeno bread wasnt to spicy and was such a nice little snack before heading out to shop. I did sit outside and enjoy my jalapeno bread roll with the coffee I got at the jumping bean ( another small business in summer field) since the weather was really nice today. I never knew this place existed and so glad I found it and definitely will be back. Please check them out guys, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing! We tried an assortment of pastries today and they were all incredible. My favorite was the raspberry cruffin! Service was fast and the employees were super friendly. Cute spot to eat your pastry there outside on some picnic tables. I will absolutely be back!

Omg!!! Why have I not been to this bakery until now. I went in to get a cheesecake and left with so much more. First- the cheesecake is one of the best I've ever had!!! No joke it weighed 10 lbs for a whole one. The croissants are huge and fluffy and delicious! They make gelato!!! And best part - open on Sundays!! Guess where I'll be every Sunday.

I have to say that I had great expectations related to this place. I love sweet and deserts, so I was super excited to finally find another bakery, but it was super disappointing. The service was great, very kind even with a big line of people waiting (which I was prepared because of the reviews). The appearance of the products makes you wanna try everything, it's beautiful and very attractive, but the taste wasn't good. We bought 4 things: bannoffe pie (strange flavor, few bananas), walnut croissant (super sweet and also a bit bitter), cinnamon roll (looks like had coffee or something else super bitter and tasted old) and lemon pie (that was ok just missed the lemon acidity). I really don't see it worthy to come back, but I might try to buy other things because I really wanna find a new spot for dessert.

Went here today because the weather is hot and I wanted the blood orange gelato! They didn't have it, will start serving on Saturday! So I will be back then! Today I got a coconut cake and strawberry lemon pie. Both were good!

This bakery is a hidden gem, one of the best I've been to in a very long time. It's located in a converted house across from the Greensboro Science Center and open only on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We meant to stop by a few weeks ago, but the line was out the door on a Saturday morning. Popular spot, and for good reason! We decided to show up Wednesday morning when it wasn't as busy. Little did we know that we would have waited ten times as long had we known how great this place is. What an amazing variety of both sweet and savory items, in addition to their large selection of breads. It was hard to choose for our first time. We seriously wanted to try everything since it looked so good! My wife and I shared a cream cheese filled cruffin, jalapeño and cheese quiche, and a pesto prosciutto pastry. We were in heaven. Can't emphasize enough how fresh everything tasted. We wanted more, and ended up bringing home 2 loaves of bread, a sourdough loaf and a Parisian baguette. Later that same day we ended up eating most of the bread, adults and kids included. Don't miss out on this one. If you have numerous bakeries in your area and think this one is too far, believe me it's worth the drive!

Let me go ahead and jump on the 5 star bandwagon. This quaint little establishment is definitely on the Return To list. I have been wanting to visit this bakery, but I always seem to miss the operating hours. I regret that I left my phone at home (I was in a rush), the bakery is small but so so cute. It has a coziness about it. Almost like you're at home when you enter. There are SEVERAL goodies, and trust me, my plan is to try each. And. Every. One. Of. Them!!!! My takeaways today were: A Cinnamon Roll (son) The RaspberryCheesecake A plum and cream treat I was automatically drawn to the cheesecake. A decadent, plentiful slice. I am definitely a fan. I just tasted a smidge as my focus was on the plum treat. Can I just tell you that I am PLUM CRAZY about it???!!! lol. Absolutely DELISH! The sweetness (not too sweet) of the pastry, the tangy/tartness of the plum, and cream cheese cream is absolute perfection. I understand that this is a newly created item. Hopefully others will agree and it will become a staple. Love it. The jury is still out on the cinnamon roll, I will taste a pinch. I am certain it is as delicious as the rest of the treats. Looking forward to my return trip to pick up more goodies! See you soon!

While we were in the line the staff were taking time to get to know the guests which I thought was a great service touch. I got the NY Cheesecake Stacker and wow. It was good. It was A LOT, portion-wise, which is never a bad thing. Flavor was great. It wasn't as aggressively sweet you think. This was a fun place to try. Staff and guests were in good spirits, it was clean, there was a fun playlist going, just an overall good experience.

We were welcomed in by staff, who was very friendly. They offer a massive selection of ice cream flavors, which makes it tough to pick. They offer something for everyone including dairy free options (including vegan options), as well as classic flavors, fruity flavors, and their own concoctions! In addition, they offer unlimited toppings to be added at NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!!! Still stuffed from dinner, I got a "single" cup, which they actually allow you to put up to (2) favors in. I decided to to go with (2) of their original creations, getting the Peanut Butter Cookies & Cream, and the Salty Caramel Brownie, to top it off, i got a chocolate drizzle, sprinkles and whipped cream. WOW! Don't let the size of the cup fool you, they pack it, full, and have overflowing. They don't skimp. The ice cream was absolutely delicious, so rich and full of flavor. The space is very relaxed with plenty of seating, as well as games for people to enjoy while visiting. Another nice touch, the cashier gave us a bottle of water on the house. In addition to cups and cones, they also offer milkshakes, ice cream tacos made to your liking, and so much more. Hands down, this has got to be the best spot in the Triad to get a nice sweet treat! As the days are warming up, I'm looking forward to going back!

Honestly I was thinking, this place can't be thaaat good! I was wrong! First off I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of gift options in the bakery! Many of the local schools were represented and they also had gifts that were birthday themed and books for kids! Because my husband is a huge Duke (basketball) fan, I couldn't help but grab a cute Duke cup! I wasn't sure what cake slice to get my coworker so I asked the young lady working for reccos! She recommended I taste a few which was dangerous because I knew I would leave with my own which was not the plan at all! As a foodie, I fell for the tasting and of course ended up with a slice of seasonal pumpkin for myself! It was moist, spiced perfectly and not overly sweet! The pink lemonade was also very good! For my coworker I grabbed the recommended deal of buying 5 slices and getting one free! The young lady working even told me about a deal they have on Mondays... FREE SLICE DAY! No purchase necessary!!! Even though these are not the best desserts in the area in my opinion, they are a solid choice if wanting a little slice of cake and picking up a few gift items!

I came here to buy a half dozen cake squares. They have a deal where you guy 5 cake squares and get the sixth free at that time, so it worked perfectly for me. Our favorite are the pink lemonade, white cake with white icing, and chocolate cake with chocolate icing. As you can tell through the pictures, they offer way more than just those items, but I was on a mission so I stuck to what I needed. But it doesn't mean I didn't browse. And since there was a line, I was able to meander through the whole store. Back along the far right wall is a section of collegiate and North Carolina themed items. I definitely saw some future birthday and Christmas presents for myself in there. I quickly messaged a colleague to let them know where to find NC State items for friends if they ever needed to pick up a gift. As I made my way back towards the line of people, I looked over the freshly baked cupcakes, the tins of their so-thin-they-shouldn't-have-calories cookies, and everything else behind the glass. Inside Dewey's is also a small seating area, but I've never been one to linger in there due to the temptation. You can get a cream horn and eat it there so there is no evidence of where you went that day. I think Dewey's does a good job for a local chain store and I will co time to be a repeat customer.
