We had custom rings made for our 25th wedding anniversary. My ring contains diamonds from my grandmother (married 1913), my mother (married 1941) and the diamond from the 1st engagement ring my husband gave me (married 1984). I LOST MY STONE! I was absolutely heartbroken. I brought the ring to Flawless Fix. 3 days later I have a new stone and all 3 have been in cased in a beveled setting. I am HAPPY HAPPY. Those diamonds are not going anywhere! All work done in house by an excellent jeweler. I highly recommend Flawless Fix for any repair needs you have.

Flawless fix is off Sunrise Blvd at Birdcage. Very easy to get to.

Originally took my old watch in to see if they could make the light work. I'd already had the battery changed, which didn't help. The foks at Flawless told me the LED was bad. They could fix it... $30 for LED, then whatever the fix would cost. Suggested I just get a new watch, it'd be cheaper. I got another of the same watch, but... like the original... the band was too big. I'd taken the original to Flawless to get the perfect fit on the band and did. So I took the new and old watch back to Flawless and got the new watch put on the old band. Of course, they put the old watch on the new band so I'd have both. These people are knowledgeable, efficient, fast, personable, and honest! I recommend Flawless Fix very highly

I just relocated to the Sacramento area and since my wife and I have no previous relationships here…read more(buisness or personal) we are in the process of finding a new everything - (dentist, mechanic, dry cleaners etc...) and since we don't know anyone that can give us any recommendations, we are on our own and forced with doing the old trial and error method. This is what I have to say about my experiance at Ray's. Now I know this isn't a deal breaker and its kind of small, but its nice when you are actually welcomed when you walk in the door, I find most places don't even care enough to acknowldedge your there, let alone be able to help you with your problem. I felt very welcomed here from the start and can see they are happy I am there too. They had the right batteries in stock for my watches, then showed me a huge selection of replacement leather bands that I needed, even knew why my Eco Drive watch was no longer charging and were able to repair it right there in house (no wating to send it back to the manufactuer). By the way they were going to do the work right then if I had some time to wait, which usually never happens when I go somewhere no matter if the place is busy or not. I know I am being long winded but its so nice to finally get someone that knows what they are doing and can actually help me, when you are relocating 3000 miles from one coast to the other you end of doing a lot of buisness transactions. Many places stood out but not for the reasons you want. Ray's made an impression on me, and family owned places like this are becoming harder and harder to find, with so many people choosing cheap prices in exchange for absouletly the worst or non exsitent customer service, forget about quality. Ray's is a welcome relief from the way people are use to being treated.....and by the way Ray's prices were the same as the big box stores. They made an effort to remember who I was, that I just moved here and started a new job. If you want to feel like your business, time (pun intended) and money are appreciated and tired of being treated like you are interupting their personal call or text message. Then give Ray's a chance to earn your buisness, you will definatly feel like your needs are being met and you might even leave with a smile. You should feel good about spending your hard earned money....(when is the last time a place made you feel like that)! Thank you Ray's, you have earned my buisness

This business illegally charges sale's tax for services. If you are only obtaining services and…read moreare not purchasing an item, make sure they do not charge you sale's tax since sale's tax is only applicable to purchasing a materialistic item. This information can be verified with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration - Publication# 73. I visited Legacy Jewlers to have my wife's rings resized. Upon the initial visit I met with one of the owners, Kevin who was very friendly and was able to assist us with determining the proper sizing of the ring. He mentioned it would take about a week to complete. The cost to resize (1 size down) a gold ring and platinum ring was $120. When picking up the rings I met with the other owner, Nick. He included sale's tax even though CA sale's tax is only applicable to purchasing materialistic items and not services. I explained that CA sale's tax is not applicable to services and he could verify this information with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) which is the CA State Department that administers the Seller's Permit which is required to operate the business. I even offered to show him exactly where this information could be found on the CDTFA website since he had a computer nearby. He declined and said he wasn't changing how he charges customers even though he refunded me the illegally charged sale's tax. It was interesting to encounter a business owner oblivious to the law while declining to learn and apply the law to prevent an audit, fees, and potential Seller's Permit revocation by the CDTFA.

I went to the Sunrise Mall, where I used to shop back then, and was surprised to see it is pretty much shuttered. I went in anyway. Saw Kay Jeweler was still open, thought about buying something for my wife, and approached the man sitting at the counter. His name is Nemo, and he is the manager. I walked up to the counter and started talking to him. Oddly enough, even though I was standing right in front of him, he didn't notice me. He tapped his earbuds off and asked if he could help me. Apparently, listening to his earbuds is more important than his job to this manager. Anyway, I started explaining how I was stationed here all those years ago, and was sorry to see what happened to Sunrise Mall. I had been talking for a bit, when he looked up and asked what I had said. At that point I was done. I told him never mind and walked out of the store. As I was leaving, another young male employee, who had witnessed this event, yelled at me to have a blessed day, very rudely. I tried to contact Kay Jeweler direct, but they make that practically impossible. Yelp will probably be a waste of time with this complaint, but I just needed to get it off my chest. I imagine Kay Jeweler will be just one more store to close in the mall soon. Nemo needs to be looking for another job. And I will never buy jewelry from any Kay store again.
