Truly a 5 star experience. This local owner operator goes by the name Mik He is a warm, artistic and very knowledgeable jeweler. He not only set our stone while we waited, he also did it with a moments notice same day, and stayed until almost 830p on a weeknight to patiently and thoroughly cater to our needs. He cleaned our ring. He educated us. He appraised our ring. He set the stone perfectly. He even applied a matte finish on a small section of our ring at our request. He has a cool dog there too. And tons of awesome collectibles that offer a nice reason to stop in. He makes his own jewelry too, and sells brands. He has his own workshop in back as well. I have to rave about this very nice gentleman Razmik. My husband bought a custom made necklace for me from "Mik". He told the hubs he would put a safety clasp on it, no charge. I went there today to have the safety clasp put on and he proceeded to ask me if I'd like my wedding set cleaned and I said of course! He asked if I'd like them dipped in rhodium at no charge (wth)! I said absolutely!! The jewelry store where my set was purchased only will clean at no charge, NOTHING ELSE. Mik will clean and dip your white gold for free. It's part of his customer service. In the 45 minutes I was there, I learned so much about jewelry! I will be back and I will tell my friends. P.S.: we are existing customers. I can not say Mik will service your jewelry (dipping etc) unless you patronize his business. read more

Wow. This is customer service at its finest! I have a Watch that I am curious to know the value of. After many failed attempts, and rude customer service from other jewelers, I decided to search on Yelp for another jeweler. The gentleman returned my phone call, and spent over 10 minutes of his time to explain how the process works, and gave me step by step directions to his shop. One thing that stood out to me, was his honesty. I asked if there was any fee for examining the watch, and he said "no there is no fee, this is my job. It's not only my job, but it is your right to know about your watch." I also explained how I found his shop via Yelp, and he says he likes Yelp. He wants people to be honest about their experience...whether is good or bad. Clearly, from the reviews, he is awesome. Can't wait to bring the watch to his shop on Tuesday. There's nothing more stressful than I can imagine, than being told by your fiancée that you are in charge of having her wedding ring custom made with less than 30 days to the wedding! Thank God! For Razmik! I brought Mik a simple drawing of what she had in mind and we discussed the details. He was able to produce a CAD drawing of the piece for my fiancée to see. After a few small changes to design, stone sizes and shapes, etc, Mik had the ring cast in wax. I was able to now see it live. He ordered the stones and the ring was cast, stones were set, and everything delivered, as promised, the day before the wedding. The stone quality was phenomenal, the craftsmanship, perfect. I have had the pleasure of dealing with owner, Razmik (Mick) Carapetian on several occasions and I will never go anywhere else for my jewelry needs. My first visit to Razmiks Jewelry was to just take a look. He cleaned my rings at no charge and I enjoyed a wonderful cup of coffee while I waited. A couple of months down the road, I wanted a special ring (preferably something with diamonds) to wear to a large social event I was attending, and to also mark a recent accomplishment in my life. Razmik showed me several rings and never once became impatient with my indecisiveness. When I finally decided on my ring, which by the way is amazing, he sized it for me right then so that I could wear it to the event that night. A few weeks ago I purchased a lovely blue topaz ring and when Razmik was sizing it he noticed a problem with the stone. He ordered a new stone for me (at no charge) which is actually prettier than the original one. I was surprised when he did this because I could not even see the problem with the topaz. It again confirmed for me what an honest and professional person I was dealing with. Finally, my brother, who is a drummer and bass player, recently retired from the Sheriff's Department and Razmik came up with an idea for the perfect gift. He designed a guitar pick out of a Sabian cymbal which my brother can wear either as a necklace or on his key chain. It is absolutely beautiful and my brother treasures it. Razmik really listens to his clients, a trait which is hard to find these days. The result is that you leave his shop feeling satisfied and happy, and knowing you have made a new, longtime friend. I found this jeweler on yelp and decided to go in because of all the great reviews I read. And I had an awesome experience! I had my wedding ring set resized. I dropped it off on my lunch break and it was ready when I got off work. Other places would typically take 2-3 weeks. He was very nice, knowledgeable and informative. And it was very reasonably priced. After a few days, I wanted to get it resized again. It fit perfectly but I prefer it with a little more room. I was afraid I was going to have to pay again to get it resized bigger. But I went in after work one day and he finished it in half an hour. I couldn't be happier! read more

My husband and I found Razmiks Jewelry through an internet search. The owner seemed friendly and informative. He offered to appraise our diamond ring for $100 and then connect us with a good insurance plan. He said the appraisal would be complete within the week. THREE MONTHS LATER (with numerous trips in) we were still without an appraisal. The story was the same each time - he hadn't been able to find anything comparable to base an appraisal on, and asked us to come back next week. At that point we asked for our money back, stating if he were able to do the appraisal it would have been done by then. He refunded $60. He said he was keeping $40 because he [momentarily] removed the diamond from its setting to measure it for the appraisal. When I questioned why he charged ANYTHING at all for a job he was unable to complete, he said he "touched it" and that costs $40. The $60 refund check from Razmiks Jewelry bounced today. read more
