This was my second escape room and it was amazing! We arrived early and checked out The Basement where they had tons of cushioned seating, snacks and a selection of Regular and Adult Beverages. Canned but decently priced! When you arrive you can check in for the escape rooms in The Basement, arrive about 10-15 mins early so you can make sure your waiver is signed and you get the overview and rules of the room. We had a group of 5 and did the Who Dennis room! Being my second room I do not have a ton of experience but for the price compared to the last room was no comparison. Way better! The size, layering of puzzles, and help when we needed it was great. We had a fun time and at no point with 5 people did we run out of anything to have to do. We didn't solve the puzzle but was extremely close! We were even offered 20% off if we wanted to come back and try to solve again. I'm hooked and need to go back and try and solve it again. They also had 3 other rooms available, and if they were any sort of the quality of the Who dunnit I am sure they will be great! read more

We had a group of 4 and did the cube escape room and had a lot of fun. We used a Groupon which was giving us trouble booking on their website. I called numerous times and emailed and a few days later someone called back and was able to book over the phone and expressed they have a new system and it wasn't coordinating with Groupon well. I know it's primarily an escape room, but they have an amazing basement which is filled with boardgames and card games and for 10 bucks. You can do unlimited boardgames and you can like rotate them out. It's kind of great. They have snacks and drinks and it's a lot of fun for the family. read more

A couple of my coworkers had never gone to an escape room before and after talking to a friend who LOVES escape rooms, we decided to plan something! I found this place online and decided to check it out as none of our party has ever gone to this one. The location that my group and I went to is located in Lynnwood off the Pacific 99 Highway on 68th Ave W. There's a parking lot with quite a few stalls that probably won't be a problem unless all of their three rooms are booked. We booked The Cell with a group of 7 people via their website. Super easy to navigate through the website. I read somewhere that they had discounts and decided to give them a call to see. And there was! Be sure to call and check if you would like a discount~ It was quite challenging in my opinion LOL. I, myself, wasn't really a great help as mind puzzle games confuse me more than it should. Luckily, I was able to solve a mini puzzle that was crucial to a part of the escape room. I can say I contributed! My group and I really enjoyed our time solving the puzzle to escape out of the room. We made it out in the end with a few minutes to spare! We also had a some laughs at the commentary that our host (captor) would name drop people from our group who did some things incorrectly. Shoutout to him! Thank you for an amazing experience! The room definitely had a lot of riddle and puzzles, challenging all of our 'common sense' and puzzle solving skills! This was a hit! Had my daughter's 11th bday here today, nine girls total. They did "The Cell" game. They all had a great time! My daughter wanted a "spooky escape room" and Entangled delivered. They would NOT stop talking about it on the way home, saying it was "fun scary!" And they want to go back! The adults went downstairs to "The Basement." There's a snack /beer/drinks bar, trivia,board games, golden tee, darts and a VR room! I'm coming back here for my own birthday! This was a great find on Groupon. I've been to a lot of escape rooms, and I have strong opinions for that reason. I'd say if this is your first or in your first few escape rooms, this was a fun, reasonably immersive experience. We did The Cell. Pros: - I like having hints be given in an "immersive" manner. Our gamemaster used a voice to pretend to be someone else trapped that could kinda help. - Clean bathrooms - Several interesting puzzles - nonlinear puzzling, which is great for larger groups (or anything more than like, 2 for more experienced people) - going back and forth between rooms - good parking Cons: - for the love of God allow a fuller light to be turned on after getting out of an area. Being in a room and requiring a blacklight for 5-10 minutes (and more, cuz of the back and forth thing) is very headache inducing. Or give us bigger flashlights. - Also black lighting everything is very not fun. One puzzle, sure. Five puzzles, no. - GM seemed like they got impatient at some point and started rapid firing hints. We'd get something and not one minute later they'd be talking to us again. We finished 15 minutes early so we didn't need to have that... - someone needs to clean all the objects between games. I left the room and needed immediately to wash my hands. - if I'm paying this much money... I'd really like a lot more high tech stuff instead of number and key locks. Can we have some secret rooms? There definitely wasn't a secret room as much as "another room that is clearly going to be accessible". (There were a few small magnety things but not enough for the price.) Again, if you're a newer player, I think this was a good game to do. I'm not, so I have some opinions. read more

Maddie and Sophie, thank you guys so much for your patience and time with my group. I brought my dad, aunt and friend to their very first escape room experience. Little did I know I brought them to the most intense one I've been so far. And we made it out!!! (With a lot of help from Maddie and her clues haha) The location was easy to find and everything in the room was well decorated and done. The clues, locks and puzzles were complicated but we were able to work together as a team (plus Maddie) and continue the game. We even got a little bit extra time, perfect for when we got out. Had a good time at the "cure" escape room even though we didn't successfully escape - challenge was absorbing and room was interesting. Was with a group of 4 neurodivergent kids plus 3 adults. I liked that initially room appeared small and you unlocked more areas as you went along. Puzzles were scattered throughout. One that had to do with shapes and colors was particularly challenging under the light conditions. Staff did their best to try to guide us with narration but kids were excited and chaotic - if we'd coordinated better probably would have solved it. Still they all had fun. We have done over 30 rooms. We did The Cube and The Cove. Both rooms were really fun. The Cove had some of the coolest visual decorations that I've seen. Both had some unique puzzles we haven't seen before. Neither room is done in linear fashion and have multiple puzzles going on at once I am deducting one point because our game master for The Cove gave us WAY too many clues that we didn't ask for. As soon as we'd find a key, she'd tell us where to look for the lock instead of giving us the thrill of figuring out what to do next. We didn't ask for a hint at any point but got one nearly every minute which took away a lot of the fun. At one point she told us where to look when we were already headed that way and I said "yes we know". She kind of backed off after that. As an experienced escape room player, it was very frustrating to not be allowed to solve it on our own. We even broke the record for time but we think this was due to having so much help Overall I really enjoyed the experience! I would just advise the game masters to wait until you are asked for help before offering it voluntarily. read more

We weren't able to make it to the escape room due to severe weather conditions. I couldn't even make it out of my driveway because of the snow. We were told we would be charged an additional $35 dollars to reschedule, or forfeit the package and get none of the money back. Don't come to this place. Horrible customer service. read more

The one star is for poor customer service. I booked an escape room two hours before we were supposed to be there. Within an hour, our babysitter notified us we need to be home so I called to see if we could get a refund. I was told that booking within 24 hours of the event means you know you will be there so I had to forfeit $86 to be there for my child. I get the cancellation policy but life happens and they could've been better customer service. read more

We had so much fun!!! Our family of four booked the horror room but three of us didn't know it was horror until we arrived. We were a little (a lot) hesitant. I'm so glad we decided to go ahead with our plans as it was a blast! The puzzles are difficult but very clever. The props and rooms are well designed and the commentary and clues were hilarious! Booked a team bonding event here for my office, and it was a lot of fun! We have a smaller team (6 people) so we felt this was the perfect activity. Ryan, the owner, was very friendly upon our arrival. The lobby area was huge and had a bunch of cool puzzles on the table to play with while you wait for your hour to start in the escape room. We booked The Cell and I have to say, it was hard! But we still managed to figure out all the puzzles and were only 1 away from escaping, but overall, it was a lot of fun! The puzzles were hard, but once you figure one out, you have that "Aha!" moment and feel pretty good about yourself, lol. The puzzles and the escape room were very cleverly and creatively thought out, and I'd love to come back to try out the other escape room they have. Thanks for a great time! read more

I did my second ever escape room through Entangled (and it's so far, my favorite). We were able to easily book the pirate-themed escape room the day-of online. Upon arrival, we were welcomed and introduced to the rules/ tips of the escape room. The lobbies were decorated well to match the room themes and they provide you with masks if you forgot them. I loved how there were multiple rooms to the pirate one and how it was designed to allow for 2 teams to compete, great for larger groups! I can tell they put a lot of thought into planning and designing the room. It was very interactive and the hints given by the hosts/parrots were helpful and funny. They guided us along the way when they saw us struggling, with no limit to the number of clues given (unlike other places that gives you only a limited number of hints) so it's great for more beginner-level escape room players. Whoever voiced the parrots on 7/17/22 for the party at 8:15pm went above in beyond in helping us have a fun time, thank you again! We will definitely recommend Entangled to our friends and return in the future :) read more

We love Escape Rooms....even though we have only experienced 4 or 5 of them across the country. We booked online (super easy) and the five of us had the room to ourselves....I think that's how they do it. We were greeted by the owner, who is so passionate about his work. His intro to the room was good and, after our questions were answered, away we went...into the dark. I won't give up any details or clues but I will say that this is a really cool room: challenging clues where we had to know math and history. Teamwork and communication is important. We did manage to escape only 'cause the owner gave us 5 more minutes (we were really close, per him). In summary, if you like escape rooms, I highly recommend this room. In my opinion, a group of 5-8 would be ideal. And I am looking forward to the new rooms his is developing on that site!! read more

Eacape Routes is amazing. We came as a family of three and participated in his newly finished smaller room. It was FANTASTIC. His brain is so brilliant and it's crazy to understand he individually come up with these. We spent so much time initially over-analyzing and then once we got going into different areas we kicked ourselves. This was such a fun challenge and a great afternoon. The owner is such a great guy. Super friendly. Helpful (as we needed our hints) and this place is completely kid-friendly. I'll go back. I hope everyone supports this local business. His waiting area has brain teasers and is a beautifully designed open area. This place is great for families, groups, athletic team captains, and other small groups. read more
