Honestly I had to redo the whole review, I was so upset about having to wait over an hour just to have someone help me with a pair shoes. They have an iPad attached to a flexible pole as you come in and it's used to sign in. However, there is no signage to explain that to a customer. Lucy, finically called my name and was excellent on making me feel calmer and really knew her stuff when it came to shoes. I dropped a star because the store seriously needs to work on signage and the wait time for service. read more

I visited your store today. instantly upon entering your store I had been greeted by Brayden, he asked how he could assist me. I needed to exchange a pair of shoes I had purchased earlier for a better fit for my feet. Right away he informed me he could help me. He did, Brayden was so patient with me, I explained I have issues with both of my feet, so he proceeded to bring me several pair of shoes to have me try on. he succeeded, I am wearing my Minzuno wave inspire shoes and they are amazing!! These guys are super cool! We were rushing over to Fleet Feet Sports on a Friday afternoon to pick up our race packets for the 13.1 Cincinnati Half Marathon. The store closes at 6pm, but we were running 10 minutes late. We called the store to ask them if they could stay open for a little longer and they said they would. They actually stayed open half an hour longer than they needed to! Who does that? The store is super cool. It reminds me of Road Runner Sports, but smaller. There is a huge clearance section for women, and two racks of clearance items for men. We found a few things we needed while we were here. Since they were already closed, we want to stay around too long by checking out their choose, or other stuff, but I took pictures of what they had! I would recommend Fleet Feet Sports if you're in to running. They'll set you up there. They have the gear and the gels. read more

MyHusband and I went there to buy two pair of shoes a couple of weeks ago. We were in the store, seated and waiting to be waited on, we waited for 35 minutes without even a greeting. We left and went to the Loveland Store. Bought 2 pair of shoes and 8 pair of socks and left Happy! The least your employees could do is say hello and we will be with you in a few minutes! First time actually getting fitted for a pair of running shoes. I must admit the staff is knowledgable on the type of shoe that fits your body type and running style. They go out of their way to find the two shoes that fit the best, then left you try them out running outside. I was told prices were a little steep, however after doing the research, they have competitive prices (when they have a sale). You do pay a little more, but once again they fit you for your style. My session was 30-40 minutes long to actually pick out my running shoes. Strongly suggest this place if you are shoe shopping for running shoes. read more

I went in to the store today and was extremely disappointed by my experience. I went in and it was a little busy but not overwhelming. I was asked to add my name to the board and someone would help me when they were open. I added my name and sat down. I then waited 20 minutes without anyone even acknowledging my presence, even as the other customers who were there finished up. Then I watched as three other people came in and were immediately helped; again without anyone even acknowledging I was there. I waited another 10 minutes without any change, even as I saw at least 2 other staff members do other activities around the store that did not involve helping customers. I ended up leaving without anyone saying anything to me even once. I will most likely never go back to this store and would not recommend to any of my friends or family. read more

I brought my daughter in there last Saturday as she has had foot surgery and has new orthotics and needed a good pair of shoes, we were treated wonderfully with very well trained staff who did a thorough gait and foot analysis recommending the most appropriate shoes, we found a great pair that feel wonderful, as a physician I will definitely recommend patients to go to this store! read more

I have come to this store on multiple occasions. I have come early, mid day and late in the day. They seem to cater to the young adult and not so friendly to the older customers. They make you wait and do not honor their "waiting list". Avoid this place if you are over 40. Probably a great place for the young adult that is not in a hurry. Very busy place! read more

Roughly five years ago, Fleet Feet Sports opened in Blue Ash. At the time, it was just a small shop in the Crossings of Blue Ash shopping center dedicated to running/walking, but it has since doubled in size. On Monday, I decided to stop into the store for the first time in a while, and I was impressed. As soon as I walked in, I just got that feeling that I had entered a great shop. I recognized one of the employees, a competitive runner at a top college, so I knew he'd be very knowledgeable and helpful. The rest of the workers were very friendly too and give a lot of personal attention in helping you find the right shoe or other product. They have all of the top shoe brands (Nike, Asics, Brooks, New Balance), but also a ton of top clothing and accessories too. From tank tops and shorts to socks, watches and hats/visors, Fleet Feet can deck you out to at least look like a runner, regardless of your mile time. They also have fitness snacks and even those neat strollers designed for taking on a run or walk. If you're driving in the area on a Tuesday or Thursday night or a Saturday or Sunday morning, don't be surprised if you find a large group of runners. Fleet Feet has several running groups with different focuses: Fun Run/Walk, Track Workout, and Longish Runs/Walks. Fleet Feet also has set up a 12-week 2008 Fall Marathon Training Program, and they promote the many different area races too. While I initially had the impression that Fleet Feet specialized in just running shoes, I soon realized they actually specialize in the actual runner (or walker). It is not just about making a few dollars, rather it seems to be about providing great customer service, spreading the passion of running and walking to those who shop there, and also just making friends, as seen in the running/walking programs. read more

I've been running for several months with some standard Nikes. I decided to finally take the plunge and consider myself a runner by getting some real running shoes. I usually buy stuff online, but I had no idea what I needed. The employees at Fleet Feet were very knowledgeable. They put you through a lot of tests to find the best match. I got it narrowed down to 2 shoes, a Saucony and and a Brooks. I went with Saucony. But after just one run they gave me blisters. They let me exchange the shoes with no hassle. A different employee even went through everything with me again just to make sure it was right the first time. I switched to the Brooks and they were great. After I bought the shoes, I went online just to make sure I didn't get ripped off. Most sites were charging the same, with a few about $5-10 cheaper. But the knowledge you gain from talking to the staff more than makes up for that. Plus the inevitable hassle of returns of buying shoes online! I had been using the same running shoes for roughly 2 years so I decided to stop in to buy a new pair. I read some previous reviews and noticed most people had a very positive experience with Fleet Feet's staff. When I walked in, I was immediately approached by a very nice woman. She helped me narrow my choices down to three different shoes based on my walking/running style. We went with a Saucony. I took them home and ran 2 different times. The following mornings after each run, I awoke feeling like I slept on a wood floor. My back was stiff and could hardly roll out of bed. I decided to take them back and see what other options they have. The next staff member I dealt with told me that I have become accustomed to a minimal shoe and the transition back to a traditional shoe could be tough. He set me up with a shoe very similar to what I am used to. He also saved me $25 dollars from what I had originally paid. I have put the new Asics to use and they do not disappoint. I'm new to running and I was running in a pair of old worn Payless shoes. I knew that if I was going to continue running that I would have to invest in proper running shoes. I had no earthly idea where to begin or what to look for. The came along Fleet Feet! Thank goodness! The person who helped me took 3-D measurements of my foot and explained that I was a neutral, slightly flat footed runner. She then brought our several pairs of shoes for me to try and let me run in them for as long as I wanted. The sales person was patient and explained all of the new things to me! I bought a pair of New Balance shoes on June 30th and paid $140.00. I have always had good luck with New Balance. I wore them 30 hours a week at work only. At the end of October, there was a hole in the top of the shoe. I went to get them replaced, and ended up paying $187 for new shoes, this was after 10% off and a $15.00 coupon. I believe they should stand behind their products, I did not get my money's worth, I won't ever shop there again. read more

The prices are maybe $5 more than a big box retailer, but it is well worth it for the attention and information you get. No where better in the city to go to get the right shoe for you. John was away, but Matt helped me with the fitting. He was friendly, informative, patient and a real pleasure to deal with. We arrived on the right size, he had options from the version 1 and version 2 of the shoe, and we tried out different volume options for insoles. I even got a lesson on running mechanics with a creepy skeleton foot. Finally, he gave me a discount on the shoe I chose because it was the earlier version. This is why you buy local. I needed some new running shoes. My shoes were so old I think I was literally hurting myself by running in them. After reading the two glowing reviews on Yelp I knew I had to check out Fleet Feet. What is so amazing about this place is the personal service. They are all about getting you the right shoe for the kind of runner you are. Lynn had me wear a pair of generic sneakers and jog around the strip mall to get an idea of my gait. Then we started working through different shoes to find the perfect pair. It reminded me a little of going to the eye doctor (is this better, or this...this one, or this one). Normally I hate, hate trying on shoes, but trying on so many shoes really helped me to zero in on what felt right. In the end, instead of feeling like I was just randomly picking a shoe, I was excited to have made the best decision I could with Lynn's help. They are also very knowledgeable about the local running scene. We discussed the 5k that I'm training for, as well as some other races that are coming up. I have been having a lot of heel pain and burning, A friend told me to go and see if Fleet feet could help. $120, or $150. for a shoe is a lot of money, but after only one day I can tell a real difference. I've decided to start training for a 5k, so I needed to get a good pair of running shoes. My co-worker recommended visiting Fleet Feet Sports, and it was a great experience. Diane, the woman who assisted me during my first visit, spent a good 30 minutes helping me choose a shoe. She studied my feet to determine if I needed a neutral or stabilizing shoe (all new terms to me), and then picked out several pairs for me to try. I was able to give each pair a trial run, (well, more like a trial jog) on the sidewalk outside of the shop until I found one that was most comfortable. I purchased the shoes, and was very excited to take them to the gym. I did my first run of my training program, and I could tell that something wasn't right. I'm a new runner, but the shoes just felt like they weren't supporting my feet correctly. I called the shop, and without hesitation they told me to bring them back in and we'd look for another pair. This time Grant was helping me out. I told him exactly where my feet hurt after the first run, and he explained that the shoes I bought originally were much lighter and didn't necessarily have as much forefoot support as others do. More experienced runners tend to prefer lighter shoes, but since I'm still a beginner, he understood that I needed something with more cushioning. He brought out a few more pairs for me to try, and I found one that felt much better. I was so pleased with the service and the fact that Fleet Feet stands behind its products and fitting process. Love love love! Lisa was an excellent help in fitting me for my new shoes for my half marathon. Even helped with socks that didn't cut off the blood to my feet.
