I have always liked this store and the customer service is top notch...normally. (They often don't have larger sizes though and tell you to order them online. ) Today a young man helped me. I went in on a mission to purchase and pretty much knew what I wanted. I am not an impatient or unfriendly shopper. He was bored and yawning (4x) Not friendly. Reluctantly brought more sizes. Didn't care if they didn't have my size. He finally showed gratitude after I made my purchase and was leaving. I spent over $400. Not because of him!!! As a year-round athlete from 5-18 years old, I suffered from shin splints, tendon pain, and more, which as I aged caused me to "fall off the wagon" and out of shape. As my partner began training for her first half marathon, I felt a spur of motivation and decided to sign up for my first 5k. Fleet Feet Sports provided the knowledgeable, hands-on customer experience that I needed to find a shoe that was best fit for my body. Through a short 5 minute Q&A, "sample walk" around the store, and shoe sizing, one of the owners was able to quickly identify my foot type and shoe needs. I tried on 3 different pairs of sneakers, all of which felt like the most comfortable pair of running shoes I had ever tried on. At one point I said, "It seriously feels like I'm walking on a cloud." After I decided on my shoe, the owner helped recommend other products and stretches that would help with my shinsplints. Overall, the store had everything you could ever want as a beginning or professional runner, from shoes and sportswear, to reflective lights and water bottles, and so much more. When I checked out, I was pleased to discover they also offer a free loyalty program, where you get cash back for every $150 you spend. The icing on the cake is that this was a locally owned shop by two friends - and, who doesn't love supporting small business? I went to Fleet Feet (Federal Hwy & Linton, behind Panera) for the first time today, because I was tired of guessing when I bought sneakers. I never knew it was there and I'm so glad someone told me, so I figured I'd tell people too. I am a grown up now and I needed real sneakers that would actually help how I feel and stand and not be the cheapest or most trendy. The staff there is amazing and I was helped by someone who was extremely knowledgeable and invested in what he was doing. Their technology is so helpful, and I have never had a sneaker for me so well, and they totally look like cool sneakers (I got New Balance, but they have many different brands). Prices are totally comparable to any retail sneaker store. Also, you can bring your old sneakers to recycle! I had a great experience, I will recommend it to everyone. read more

However, the third time I went to go get the same shoe they changed the shoe where it was no longer good for me .
