First things first though, when I enter, I immediately scope the clearance section at the back of the store first. If I do not find anything of interest there, then I hit the main aisles. While they have a solid selection of shoes, I prefer their casual/dress shoes to their sneaker selection. I have picked up more loafers and dress shoes from DSW than sneakers for sure. Service at this location is always friendly and helpful. Never had an issue, even with picking up online orders. There may not always be folks available in the moment, but when they are, they are helpful. The store is aging, and could use some TLC throughout the interior and exterior. Parking is plentiful given the location in the shopping plaza. Overall, I am a fan of DSW and this location is convenient for me, so it stays in rotation when I need some new kicks!

This New Balance store is located in a small plaza on Cool Springs Boulevard that also features a Subway, Brown Bag and a few other local services. The store is not large, but it has the basics of what I enjoy about the brand. I have picked up two pair of new kicks from this location over the past few years...my office is right around the corner, so when I am trying to delay hitting the highway due to traffic, I sometimes swing by and that can be dangerous. Service is always solid. I have gotten great service in store, and as well when I called in to see if they had a particular style/size. I used to get my hair cut at the nearby Scout's, so I would constantly walk through Franklin Road to and from, and realized it was best to look around after as I would always be late if I got distracted on my way to! They offer both Men's and Women's clothing with an extra focus on denim of all types. As with many local boutique style shops, pricing can seem a bit high, however the quality and brands they carry are honestly worth it. I am usually pretty shy about spending a pretty penny on a singular item of clothing, but some of the shirts I have bought here are my favorites and worth every penny. Outside of clothing they have a solid variety of accessories and other random items to complete any outfit. Service is always stellar here as well. From entry to exit, they are friendly and helpful. Overall, when I am in downtown Franklin, whether I need something or not, I always make it point to swing by.
