I came in 2 years ago and got a fantastic deal on a 5X6 Trailer from Cargo Mate, and have been…read moreusing it ever since no problems no rust. Fast forward to 4 Months ago: I called Rich (manager), and informed him that we are growing and needed a bigger trailer and soon, we would need more. He was happy for me, and loves to see business grow. He is extremely nice, great salesman but it's important for customers to know what ACTUALLY happens AFTER you make your purchase. We purchased a 6X12 trailer which I assumed to be another Cargo Mate, but AFTER doing all the paperwork I was informed it was not in fact a Cargo Mate but a Commander. Big Tex Trailer World recently got bought out and started manufacturing lower end trailers according to Rich, THATS why I was getting such a "good deal." Within the first 5 minutes of driving off with the trailer I experienced a wheel hub wobble and flickering lights. When I brought it back, they gave me the runaround and told me "That's what it's supposed to do." After going back and forth and going to a different trailer place, they told me the wheel hub was in fact bent. It only took 3 hours of arguing until he "warrantied" out the hub-something I shouldn't have even had an issue with given that before signing I was told I have a no hassle "bumper to bumper" warranty coverage. Awesome, I got it replaced. 2 months later my leaf springs completely snap with the trailer not even close to hauling full capacity. I called them 3 times-all 3 times I got the same response: "I'll have to look up the warranty information and I will call you back." Still haven't heard back. I wish this company all the luck-they are extremely nice to your face and are really good at convincing you you're getting a good deal-but BEWARE. This Commander rust bucket won't even sell for half the value of what I paid-a 2019 should not be in this terrible of condition compared to my Cargo Mate. Good luck keeping customers with this type of quality.

Other companies I contacted simply told me they could not obtain the trailer nor did they have any information as to when they might be available. Big Tex in Homer Glen went out of their way to contact manufacturers individually, comparable trailer brand reps and other resources within their network to set me up with the best fit for my specs. I appreciate the customer service and effort put in by these guys and was refreshed to deal with a company that cared as much as I did about ending up with the right product. Thank you !

In February we started working with them for a replacement. It took them until May to get us a print to approve and we approved it within a few days and placed the order. Fast forward and a ton of promises about when it was coming in and delayed starting and completing it was finally finished and picked up 4 months later (September 7th). When we picked up the trailer the printing looks horrible! The print on the cover is off by about a foot and noticeably not good at all. We had paid for this in full in advance. We took photos and when our driver got there to pick it up they stated that they noticed it wasn't right (but failed to contact us and just installed it). When I contacted them they said "yes, we noticed that too" and we will contact them ( the vendor) and see what they will do. It is now November and I have heard nothing from them unless I contact them first! The last time I had reached out was 10/6 and again nothing.... I will post some photos so you can see for yourself anyone would see this looks terrible. Do not use these people unless you want to get really frustrated and looking for very poor service all the way around!!!

Don't trust these guys. Salesman Stas Daszkiewicz at ILoca in Aurora IL location is a liar…read more Bad players also include managers Pat Evett and Joe Trost. Also untrustworthy is sales rep Scott Kulhanek, ILoca in Davenport IA. Scott and Stas teamed up trying to RR me on a bulkhead that was supposed to be "included" on a flatbed I was buying. I had to invoke Pat to rectify that, get the bulkhead done. I got that all settled and was going to pick up the unit, once again, Stas attempted to get me to cough up more money. Stas claimed amnesia on the whole transaction, a conversation he was part of in Pat's office where we all shook hands on the deal. I literally had to start driving off the lot without the trailer before he reluctantly and in a "pissy mood" gave in. The lengths this guy will go to attempt "stealing a dollar" is amazing! The biggest shock was what happened to my "trade in". I have (still have) a semi dump trailer I was wanting to trade for a flatbed, at least in part, pay cash for the balance. I'll admit, it is an older (2000) trailer, not worth a ton, but, it has been extremely well maintained, I have paperwork on everything I have done to it and it is certainly worth SOMETHING to the right buyer. Pat Evett made a low-ball offer to buy it, for less than what I could get for it in scrap metal!!! I said "Uh, no thanks, Pat!". I figured we were done, I was ready to just walk away, I told them I wasn't a buyer of their flatbed at any price if they weren't going to make a reasonable offer on mine. I was just about to say goodbye, Pat and Stas suddenly softened up a bit, we got to talking about my old trailer. They said "Wait, we are having an annual sale in Sept on Saturday the 22nd. We do this every year, to liquidate equipment that has been stagnant on our lot....we get over 500 people to come out. We will let you put your trailer in the sale and get the best price for it you can!" OK, I thought, now we are negotiating! Of course, my first reaction was "How much commission $$$ are you going to want to do this for me?" Their response was "NONE!"!! I said "Really??? I find that surprising." They said, it is what they do for customers who purchase from ILoca in Aurora and have older equipment like this that we just don't want to trade for....you buy our trailer, we will let you take part in our sale, no guarantee it will sell, if it does, no charge, if it doesn't, take it home. Well, isn't that nice of them? Or, so I thought. I really wanted to believe that this was a local dealership I could trust, be a customer for life. EHHHH....turns out, I was WRONG!!! I agreed to do the deal based on them installing a used bulkhead on the trailer for free and letting me participate in the sale on 9/22. When I had all the issues with the bulkhead deal, I decided I wasn't going to work with Stas anymore. I couldn't reach Pat Evett. As of writing this, Pat STILL hasn't returned any of my many phone calls or text messages. I I finally broke down, called Stas I needed to bring the trailer in by Monday because I'd be unable to after. He finally got back and said "I spoke to the owner, he said only ILoca owned equipment is allowed to be in this sale." Once again, here we are getting screwed by Stas. When I reminded him of what HE and Pat agreed to do, his response was "I never promised you could be in the sale, I said MAYBE you can..." Once again, Stas proved he was nothing but a liar. Do it to me once, shame on you, do me twice, shame on ME! It turns out, the sale ILoca had on the 22nd was their first time EVER...they don't do it every year like Pat and Stas said, they didn't have over 500 people out to it last year. Again, another lie, not only from Salesman Stas Daszkiewicz but Pat Evett as well at ILoca in Aurora IL location! These guys are really amazing. Stas said "We told you MAYBE we could put your trailer in the sale"...to which I responded "Why would ANYONE accept a 'maybe' and wait until now to start asking about it? Wouldn't you simply make it part of the negotiations?" There were a dozen other flatbed trailers I found that all were in the same age, type and price range I was looking for. I wanted to trade-in my dump trailer. I would have just gone somewhere else if the answer was a "maybe". Then, Stas says "Well, we offered to sell your trailer for a $2,500 commission, you said 'no'!". Really?? You told me there would be NO commission to in your "sale". You and Pat BOTH said "THIS is what we do to help our customers." I said "You know, if you sold it for the right price, paying a $2,500 fee might be worth it!". Obviously, Stas has no moral compass. He says anything to get a sale, then lie to upper management once the deal is done about what he promised. I even met with #2 in charge Joe Trost. He'd rather I rail ILoca on social media than stand behind what his team promises to its customers. Good job, Joe!!!

The shop diagnosed and recommended replacement of both the driver and passenger lower control arms. I ultimately approved repair of only the side making noise for approximately $697 (versus the $1,394 they recommended for both sides). What bothered me most was that after the repair was completed, the technician test drove the vehicle, yet nobody informed me before making payment that the exact same noise was still present. I personally discovered it myself within less than 10 feet of driving out of the shop and immediately returned. The lack of communication regarding the unresolved issue felt very misleading and frustrating. Instead of taking ownership of the failed diagnosis or communication issue, the owner Elvis became defensive and stated the reason the noise remained was because I was "too cheap" to do all the work (both side, $1,397). He also suggested I should have replaced the upper control arm as well, despite the fact that they never diagnosed or recommended prior to the repair. I ultimately took the vehicle to the Tesla dealership, where the upper control arm issue was addressed at a significantly lower cost. While the lower control arms may have shown signs of wear, replacing worn parts that are not actually causing the customer's complaint makes little sense from a diagnostic standpoint. Based on my experience, the process felt more like guesswork than properly isolating the actual issue. Customer service was ultimately arrogant and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious bringing a Tesla here.
