I took my low mileage, clean well-kept C-5 frc to them for some lights problems and a driver's door seal. I was told by other shops the problem was most likely the common problem was the multi-function switch. I figured these guys only work on vettes so I took it there. BIG MISTAKE. First, they charge you 450.00 dollars just to look it over. The said they would completely go over the car and maintenance history logbook that I had in the car. We'll all I got was a call telling me my car had been in a wreck. Really, I bought the car NEW and I'm the only driver, so I knew that was a lie. Next, they said the multi-function switch was the problem, and the AC compressor was bad, and the door seal would be 1000 dollars to replace. I agreed. Another Mistake I made because they said it was hard to find an American made one. I didn't do my research, my bad. When I received the car back 3 months later the door seal was not one piece and it looks like they spliced it together. Come to find out that door seal can be bought from C&s corvettes in Florida for 181 dollars American made. When they saw the door seal they and another shop asked me who butchered my door seal? They repaired my AC in November, and I took the car home and stored it for the winter. Then in May I took the car to Florida for C&s corvettes to rebuild the torque tube the AC didn't work. First trip out of the garage. 300 dollars later to get it fixed correctly. Just a side note vette restoration asked me if I wanted them to do the torque tube and I said NO. They wanted to remove the engine to do the job. NO ONE removes the engine to rebuild the torque tube. They kept my car 3 months, left it outside and I finally had to tell them I was coming to get the car done or not because I don't drive my car in winter. When I finally picked the car up my reverse lights still didn't work and the door seal leaks air. I paid over 4200 dollars for them to mess up my car. Since then, I've had my car in two different shops to try to repair the backup lights with NO luck. Both shops asked who worked on your lights. I told them and they said they have really messed up your wiring harness, and it needs to be totally replaced. This has cost me over 700 dollars to find this out and I still don't have backup lights. Also, now I have to pay for another door seal repair on top of that. I'd give these guys a Zero-star rating if I could. Stay away from this place unless you have a head full of rocks or so much money to throw away and have the job redone by a professional shop again. You've been warned. I wish I had been warned.
