Once the car got on the lot they noticed how nice it was and aren't sending my car to the agreed upon dealership for the price I took for the trade in. This car they "don't have the market for" per the text I got. Sleezy dealership and sales manager personally wants to keep the car stiffing the other dealership that did the leg work to get me into the truck and had money and shipping lined up for same day pickup on trade in day. Id stay away unless you get everything in writing and even then I would still stay away. Best part about this dealership was the closing table to leave.

I went there for 30 minute software update on my FCA. After an hour they told me there's two updates so It should be about one more hour. After another hour he said the downloads were not working so I should be another hour. After 3 hours and a few minutes they finished. Thought maybe they would rinse the car or fill windshield wash fluid. They didn't check the software they updated the wrong update. Wasted over three hours there for nothing. Ended up driving back to Knoxville and calling tech-support spent an hour on the phone fixed it that way

My how times have changed in the Cadillac service department. Three weeks ago I took my 2008 Cadillac SRX in to install a new instrument panel since my lights went out on my dash. Since this is an older model (no longer make parts for this classic) they replaced it with a used part from the "junk" yard with only a 90 day guarantee. In repairing the dash they broke part of my classic dash and had to shop around for repair pairs to fix the damage they caused. It's been three weeks and they finally found a part a week ago in Indiana, and I am still waiting for the part and completion of the service. It makes you wonder whether keeping your "classic car" is beneficial considering the wait time for parts, service and repair. Gee, I long for the good old fashion service days when repair was much simpler.

Two months later, the weather dipped into below zero temps, we smelled gas fumes and the smell only appears when you're warming up the car and when it's really cold. Found out, Willis did not run the VIN number or fix the recall on it and will not work with us to our satisfaction. After 2 months, Willis told us the car depreciated $6500 which is 1/3 of what we initially financed since we now have to eat that money. We went across the street to Mercedes to fix the recall issue. Obviously, Willis did not complete a multi-point inspection on this used vehicle as they initially stated. I just found out $2000 more needs to be done to this car to pass inspection. I believe Willis knew this car had issues which was not disclosed, and passed it off to the next unsuspecting customer. We were told Mike Thomas would call my husband to discuss further. That was 2 weeks ago. They are no longer a reputable company if they continue to treat their customers with disrespect and lack of integrity. Since Mike doesn't feel necessary to speak to us, we just went to a competitor of theirs and purchased a new vehicle for our daughter. I will not return to Willis due to their poor customer service.

Steve came highly recommended by our friends, Jim and Darcey Widmann, and now we know why. After shopping all over Des Moines for a truck, we encountered dealerships that either patronized us, hassled us, or made us feel like we didn't know what we were talking about. Some even tried to convince us that we couldn't get what we wanted. But when we walked into Toyota of Des Moines, it was a completely different experience. From the moment we were greeted, we felt welcomed and respected. Steve allowed us to choose the vehicle we wanted without any hassle. Every incentive was explained upfront, and the level of transparency was refreshing. What truly set them apart was their willingness to meet our needs on the trade-in. We were told by a Ford dealer (who originally sold us the Bronco) that we could never get the trade-in value we wanted, but Toyota gave us exactly what we asked for--no questions asked. Steve and the entire team at Toyota of Des Moines worked with urgency, respect, and professionalism to finalize the deal in a way that left us completely satisfied. This level of customer care and attention to our needs is what made us feel valued. Toyota of Des Moines embodies what it means to be a true car dealership. We are now proud Toyota brand loyalists and look forward to a lifetime of Toyota ownership, provided the company continues to deliver on its promise of quality in both manufacturing and sales. If you're out there shopping for a vehicle and struggling to find a dealership that truly listens and puts the customer first, look no further than Toyota of Des Moines. Thank you, Steve Henigan, and the entire team--you have earned our loyalty!

Quickly, I was test driving a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I've wanted a Jeep so long as I could drive. Today was the day! Without any haggling they gave me a generous offer for my trade. It's State Fair time so they have lots of manufacturers and dealers incentives on vehicles. I found out my best friend got a minivan the day before from them. His experience was the same as mine. Beginning to end about 2 hours, with no wasted time haggling, all things being purposeful with a friendly salesperson to help. Imar, the Finance guy was kind and fast tracked things so I could surprise the kids after day camp with dad's new Jeep. I 100% recommend David and Deery Brothers Waukee. It's great to see in the large automotive world, smaller family dealers thriving. It's definitely due to their friendly and customer service centered business model. Shop local, drive to Deery!

Several, several times I had tried to communicate issues about the car I had purchased , even prior to walking out the door with it. Terrible, terrible customer service. They took a test drive in my car, must have stomped on it, when I got it back my canned drink in the console had been crushed and there was liquid all over in the console and cup holders. Tried to sell me the vehicle with a fuel line leak, had to take it to a third party for the dealership to even acknowledge the issue. Several, several times I had tried to address brake and rotor issues, took it to a third party, provided the report to the dealership, all they did was lie and cover up. Said they had replaced the rotors and brakes. Months later, still having issues and another third party said rotors were warped. When you buy a car from this dealership they make sure you will come back to spend MORE money just to fix the issues on the car they sold you. Mouse nest in the engine bay area, flat tire, etc. Craziest part of it all, it was a certified vehicle. I was even offered positions to work at the dealership, bribary?? Poor service, lies, does NOT care about reputation obviously. I would steer clear from ever purchasing any vehicle from this location. The laws make it very hard to sue a dealership so I am attempting to save the future consumer time and money. Please do NOT waste your time. They are snakes
