Wonderful caring vets here. Staff is friendly and efficient--they know our puppy by name. After she was spayed the incision was invisible after just a few weeks. Anytime I have a question (worrywart pet dad) I just email and they respond within a few hours, usually with advice from the owner, Dr. Devon. Our puppy's regular vet, Dr. Redin, is excellent with her detailed care, checking for dysplasia when we didn't know it was a concern and recommending against an optional operation we were considering, saving us unnecessary expense. Last week: I recently adopted a bunny and was looking for a veterinarian that cared for small, exotic pets and Flemington Veterinary Hospital was recommended and very convenient , being 3 miles from my home. I decided to first bring the rabbit I already had for a few years to get checked since she hasn't been seen since her spay ( different vet). At this initial visit, I was immediately turned off upon walking in. The front desk staff is not very friendly and they were annoyed with me, accusing me of not filling out my paperwork prior to the appointment even though I told them that I did fill it out and submitted it last night. Their internet has been down for many hours, due to a storm, and the receptionist didn't want to accept that the outage may be the reason they didn't receive my information. Anyways, she obtained my information and we moved along. My appointment was with Dr. Betz. He was not friendly either. Didn't introduce himself, got annoyed when I asked him for his name. After his assessment of my rabbit, he began charting with a concerned look upon his face. I asked if everything was ok, and he told me he would get to me once he was done charting. Being in healthcare myself, I found his demeanor cold and didn't care much for his bedside manor. He did not go into any detail on how to care for rabbits nor did he go into detail on the rabbits physical assessment, just told me she looked good. I left the exam room feeling like I was an annoyance to him and he doesn't care much for his line of work. When I checked out, I asked the receptionist to please make sure my appointment for my new rabbit was not with him. She assured me that she would change it to Dr. Pacifico. Today: I just brought our new rabbit in for his initial check up with Dr. Pacifico and OMG!!!! It's like night and day from my experience last week. The front desk staff isn't that welcoming, but Dr. Pacifico make up for them. He is so friendly, caring and took his time to go over his assessment of my rabbit and listened to my concerns carefully and provided excellent feedback. Dr. Pacifico is most likely the reason this practice stays afloat. I am so impressed with him and his passion for small animals. He mentioned to me that his daughters are involved with our local 4H and I could really tell that not only is he passionate about animals, but so are his children. His passion is innate and definitely what makes up the majority of this man's DNA. I am considering him as a vet for our doodle. read more

I wouldn't recommend this practice. The office staff is rude and unorganized. I had a terrible experience with this Vet practice and would avoid at ALL COSTS. They failed me at so many levels, I can't even begin to describe it all. There are better Vets in the area. I wouldn't recommend going here. read more

This is the absolute best vet in our area and I highly recommend them! All of the staff is so kind and considerate but Dr Pacifico is superb! I have searched for honest and caring Vet for few years now. I have two young boston terriers that are generally healthy but my girl needed specialty orthopedic surgery. Im driving distance to see DR. Siegel. Hes was the only one confident and straight forward surgeon i felt comfortable with. I have got run around from other places , no answers and high bills .Facilities are clean and updated. Staff is top notch and prices are more then fair. I will never use another Vet. Since moving to Flemington ten years ago, this is our 'go to' vet hospital. After moving to Flemington my old guy, a Boston Terrier, began having some health issues, one afternoon I had an emergency, I called EVERY VETERINARY HOSPITAL IN THIS AREA..... new to the area, I had not even chosen a vet, after my third or fourth call with this response, "has your pet ever been here before? We are closing soon, we have no available appointments".... I called Flemington Veterinary hospital and they said, "bring him in"...... what a relief, I will never forget that feeling. And that's how the loyalty began. Caring staff, immediate attention for emergency, and clean facilities. I've had four dogs seen here over the years and have NEVER had difficulty getting an appointment when there has been a crisis... and unfortunately we've had a couple. Our trust is with this practice. They've taken good care of our fur babies. Our old timer passed a few years ago, but the three small breed dogs that call our house a home are life long patients of Dr. Pacifico and the rest of the Flemington Veterinary Hospital staff. read more

Absolutely love this vet office! Me and my family have been going here for years and I always recommend this place to anyone in need of a vet locally. The office is always clean and updated. Waiting room is large with nice product displays. Receptionists have always been very helpful and sweet. Very accommodating. Parking is great and plenty of spaces. Hands down the best Vet in NJ. Every time I walk into the office Lexi and I are greeted with a huge warm welcome. It is amazing the bedside manner of everyone in the clinic. I live over an hour away and I make sure to bring Lexi here every time. Lexi had surgery with Dr. Siegel who did an amazing job on her ACL and Luxating Patella. She recovered miraculously and is doing amazing. The price was very fair, not the cheapest, but that's not something I wanted when coming to my dogs health. She also sees Dr. Pacifico and Clark for her check ups and they are great Vets as well. I would hands recommend this place to anyone who loves their dog like a child. This place should have 5 stars all around. The lady Melissa who gave them a 3 star review doesn't realize that the Flemington Vet Hospital is a Vet clinic and not a boarding place. When Lexi returned from spending 2 nights there (after surgery) she smelled fine and was not covered in anything. I think Melissa needs to board her dog at the appropriate places and not leave bad reviews for amazing Vets who help all different animals. read more

I had a rough week, that culminated in my very nervous 100 lb GSD requiring an emergency vet visit on Saturday morning. Even though their schedule was full, they were able to fit me in, get me into the exam room that has it's own entrance and take care of his problem. Thank you to all the staff that helped that morning. Chase is a big, goofy, nervous, but lovable pain in the butt that needed special treatment and he got it. read more

I called the Flemington Veterinary Hospital this morning on my friends behalf to set up an appointment for her to put her very ill, in much pain, old dog to sleep. When setting the appointment I asked (just to confirm the obvious) that prior to being euthanized the dog would first receive a sedative. I was told no, they don't need it. I asked again because I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Again...no. Taking a leap of faith I made the appointment and went with my friend and her dog. The parking lot was jam packed, waiting room full and you could see the receptionists were maxed out. They were extremely disorganized. At first couldn't find my appointment, didn't know prices and were clearly annoyed I even asked. These are only a few of the challenges I faced when trying to work with the receptionists. I was trying to handle the paperwork inside so my friend could spend a few last minutes of "quality" time with her dog outside and it was one challenge after the next. Anyway, once my friend and her dog were in the room with the Vet, me and the others in the waiting room heard horrific screams and cries coming from that room. One of the others in the waiting room said she was so bothered that she was going to complain. My friend then came out and shared with me that even though there was a drawer full of muzzles, the vet took the leash the dog was brought in on and tightly wrapped it around his extremely arthritic jaw not once but multiple times. Let me remind you, the dog was in severe pain, had very bad jaw arthritis and teeth problems, could hardly move, denied a sedative and the vet wrapped the dogs mouth tightly with its leash. When my friend came out she was so upset. As if putting your pet of many years to sleep isn't enough, she was devastated saying they clearly were in a rush and was so upset that her dog, one of her babies, had such a traumatic ending to his life because the Flemington Veterinary Hospital was so focused on just getting people out the door. Dr Pacifico and staff are the absolute BEST. I wouldn't even consider bringing my pets to any other place for their health care.

They are great for wellness visits and if your pet has " easy" issue. When it comes to more complicated things all they do is give you attitude on the phone. I wont lie Dr. Betz is amazing but you barely get to see him because of surgeries etc. They keep bragging about their app service and dont even answer matters within work hours. ( i sent a message yesterday in the am and as of today 8.00am NO ANSWER) At first they were great but when my pet started having those issues all the do is tell you to go " there and here and there again" and dont help or engage in anything. I saw one of the dr females and she told me " its regular diarrhea and vomit" few days after my pet ended up in a ER hospital because she did not look into the issue just wanted to prescribe meds. ( i asked to do xray to make sure not even her ) I really liked them but again it is all when your dog is fine but when issues arise they are not there..... read more

By far the most professional and caring Vet practice I have found. The facility is up-to-date and kept very clean. I moved around the corner from them 18 yrs ago and immediately began bringing my two pugs there, both of which had medical challenges throughout their lives. Both Dr. Pacifico and Dr. Charlie treated them with expertise and compassion throughout their lives, and most importantly at the end when compassion was so desperately needed. They have always fit me in no matter the crisis. I moved 45 minutes away and still drove my two new little rescued terriers to the practice because I trust no one else. I've moved again, now 60 miles away, and still drove one of my little guys up there this morning. I didn't have an appt, on a busy Saturday with limited hours, but they told me to get in there and they would fit me in. Dr. Pacifico never rushes us and knew exactly how to treat my guy. When you think of yourself as a "dogmom" and not a "dog owner" you do what's necessary to find the care you are comfortable with and I'd probably drive from a different state for this office, that's how much I trust them with my heart. read more

They took our cat in as an emergency even though we had never been there before. Sadly, our cat passed away but the doctor and staff were so kind and wonderful. If you are looking for a vet, look no further. These are good people who genuinely care. read more

My dog is not a regular patient of this practice, but I took him here two times last week to get an international travel exam with Dr. Redin. We just moved to the UK, which has very strict animal health requirements--and very strict documentation requirements--but Dr. Redin was amazing to work with the whole time. She was warm, personable, and knowledgable when examining my mini poodle, and she was very attentive with the paperwork. Everything went super smoothly with the move, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Redin for similar health exams or general veterinary check ups. Thank you!! read more
