Originally we thought the Jeep Rubicon Gladiator was going to be it. Since they didn't have the one we wanted in stock, they found one and immediately did a trade with another dealership an hour away. It was then waiting for us the next day. Then this morning we call them saying we have decided against the Jeep and would be buying a Chevy (fortunately Vance owns that dealership too.) But in the end, we bought a 2500 Ram Laramie w/a turbo diesel. All the while even though I'm sure there was a lot going on behind the scenes, we knew their #1 priority was that we got what we wanted. She came back and told me the service guys all go to lunch from 12 to 1 so it should be finished shortly! I can't hardly believe they would let a customer sit in the waiting room for an hour while they go to lunch when the vehicle is there for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Finally, at 1:40pm, the car was finished. Over three hours, including driving time from Pittsburg, KS for an oil change and tire rotation. Do not schedule appointments close to their lunch hour because you'll add another hour to your wait. Seems to me a change is in order for lunch breaks. Customers first, I don't think so. Every time they put me on hold and transferred me on the phone, I had to listen to Frank Fletcher's message about how they care about the customer. To make this clear, I am not complaining about the work, only the time it takes to complete something simple like a tire rotation and oil change.

I feel like you can't really trust a lot of car shops now a days, but we trust Barney's! The service was so fast and reliable. I had gotten told at a Dobbs in a bigger city that I needed to replace my shocks and struts and it would cost me about $1000. I took it to Barney's and they ran a bunch of tests and within an hour they told me there's nothing wrong with and I don't need them fixed for a while. They get us in every time without fail. The staff is kind and trust worthy and keep it real with you about your car and their opinions. I really appreciate the honesty!

Repainting it would have been $700 and it just wasn't that important to me but Tyler said that they could touch it up if I wanted. When I picked my car the repair looked like new and they had touched up the chips at no charge! I love not seeing those nasty chips every time I get in the car! That's probably true for some, maybe, possibly, the majority, but there are those who do. They may not be "subject matter experts", but it's not rocket science. The owner, Dana, tries to paint himself t in the light and believes he's always right. He doesn't want the truth out there that may paint a bad, yet true, picture. He may have his hair share of happy customers, yet I'd be willing to bet, that summer of them have no idea what was, or was not done, they just "trusted" that the job was done, and done right. Please educate yourselves on the totality of damage to your vehicle has, what's needing find, what else may have been impacted, what's being done, as well as if it was actually done, not to mention if it was done properly, and professionally. Just remember, they're getting paid no matter what, whether it be you that pays, your insurance company, your deductible (you), and your insurance, or even the other person's insurance. So, I won't mention the insurance fraud that took place, I just ask that before you take your vehicle here, or any other place for that matter, please take the time to maybe learn something new. Your vehicle just may be YOUR LIFELINE, it's not theirs. Worry more about the mechanical, working parts that make, or help, the vehicle go down the road, not how pretty, or nice it looks. I couldn't give no stars, because overall, I definitely would have. Lastly, and this doesn't necessarily point to this business, just hopefully your decision making processes in life.
