Additionally, what really helped amidst the chaos of wedding planning was that Erica was consistently calm and always came with a positive attitude. Half of my guests were coming from out of state, and while I was worried about things going smoothly for all of them, Erica ensured that everything and every detail was in place so that none of my worries ever came to fruition. What I really appreciated was that throughout the entire weekend of the wedding, Erica always made sure to check in on me to guarantee any concerns or needs I had were taken care of while still making sure everything we had discussed previously happened the way I wanted it to. We weren't…read moreexactly sure what to expect before we walked into the venue (Steffanie sent photos of each part separately but we didn't know what it would look like all together) but we were very impressed with the decor: from the mandap, to the reception stage, charger plates, centerpieces and most of all - the LED dance floor! Last minute we were worried that an LED dance floor might look tacky but it was beautiful, fun, and a huge hit. They changed the colors on the dance floor depending on what part of the reception we were at so during some of the family performances there were beautiful white lights and during the open dance floor it changed colors. I might recommend having some kind of gradient to the elevated LED dance floor in case people aren't looking down when they walk on, but that might be hard to employ! We weren't the kind of couple that was very nitpicky about each part of the decor (so I can't speak for those couples that have more of a detailed vision) but I thought, for us, the finished product was classy, glamorous, and fun. At our 1 month meeting, she told us exactly what decor we needed to buy and how many photos to print at Walgreens. She had us bring 1 bin for the ceremony, 1 bin for the cocktail hour, etc. It made preparations super easy. At our venue walkthrough, I was so glad she was there, because she would think of things that I would never. For example, we thought about having our groomsmen bus tables to save a little money. Immediately, she called out that they will probably be drinking and can't do it. Second, Michelle puts so much love and care into her job. From our initial meeting, she genuinely wanted to know us and what we were looking for. She accommodated everything we wanted. In our timeline planning meeting, we were worried that we wouldn't be able to take sunset photos and cut cake, because they would need to happen at the same time. Amazingly, Michelle put the puzzle pieces together and figured out how to do both. We would cut the cake first (3 min), then take sunset photos, then come back to serve the cake. I was so impressed. Get a coordinator who can do both! She's super responsive to emails. Even in the middle of wedding season, the communication was excellent. On our wedding day, we felt so attended to.
