This shop is thoughtfully curated with beautiful clothing, accessories and jewelry. Go in here with no goal in mind and just have fun! We loved sifting through her amazing collection of statement jewelry. I get giddy when I find a piece that fits my sense of style. Today was one of those days...a dark denim A-Line skirt with a zipper in the front. The only one hanging and in my size!! I also tried on a pink top that caught my eye but was hesitant until the cashier, Danni, said she liked it on me when she saw me trying it on. Sold! Everything is neatly sorted by size and different types of clothing. Ex: tops, shorts, jeans, pants, jackets, shoes, athletic wear, etc. Danni told me that the owner is very particular about accepting clothes that are in great condition only. There are always new pieces coming in every week and I look forward to dropping by again the next time I am in the area. I found the prices to be very reasonable.

But I was appalled with how I was treated by one of the employees there. I had been chatting with one of the owners, I think- Ariel? She was sweet as could be and shared my enthusiasm over an amazing eggplant wool dress and coat from the fifties. She told me the price and after admiring it I decided to try it on. By this time, Ariel had stepped out and another female employee stepped in. I remarked to her that it was so beautiful and I'd like to try it on, to which she sneered, very obviously looked me up and down, and said, "well, it only really fits a size 2...". Not that it makes any difference what size I am, but I'm between a 4 and 6 and was appalled at her rudeness. I asked the waist measurement (it was definitely larger than a 2) and she didn't know. When I said I'd like to give it a try, she scoffed and said, "well, it's $250, so don't force it". Excuse me?! How dare she say something like that! I'm not a child who is unaware of the delicacy of vintage clothing, and am not disillusioned about my size- I did try it on and it all fit except for the bust, because the waist was very high up on the dress and I have a long torso. The girl asked if it fit, and I told her the bodice was too short, and she replied that the original owner was very short and petite. That's what she should've told me about the size-I'm tall, around 5'9", and it would be very obvious it wouldn't fit if it was tailored for a short woman. Instead she made it about weight with her tone and comments. She then tried to get me to try on the original clothing line, saying it goes well with an "hourglass" shape, but I was so furious and embarrassed that I left. No one should be commenting on anyone's size, no matter how veiled, and to assume I would damage the garment? Uncalled for, unacceptable, and just plain mean. It was not said out of concern for the dress- it was malicious and very ill intended. I also felt like she was insinuating I couldn't afford it, anyway. I'll not return to be treated to poorly, and that's a shame, because this shop has potential.

I bought a dress here after admiring the simple lines and unfussy design of a dress in the window. I didn't have time to try it on, and when it didn't look just right (too shiny for daytime wear) I brought it back and Ariel exchanged it for a more work-appropriate dress, no problem. Everyone who works here is super sweet and goes out of their way to help you in a non-intrusive manner. Joyously recommended to fans of vintage and super-simple, locally made clothes.

They pull all the vintage items out of their donations and send them here to be up-charged to high heaven even though they acquired all the items for free! Ever wonder why you can't find affordable nice vintage pieces while at Goodwill anymore? It is because they were all sent here! They used to hide the fact that they were a Goodwill store super well, but recently I noticed that their POS system had the Goodwill logo, and when I asked the staff member about it she confirmed exactly what I'm saying. There are many other vintage stores that are curated and sourced all over the city. Support those small businesses who invest in their craft over Goodwill, a large corp that gets all its inventory for free.

HIGH volume of interesting pieces, all artfully arranged. It feels like you've walked into the closet of the coolest chick you know (or dude-- they've got men's clothing to and a limited selection of kids stuff). Owner has an amazing eye for the special and unusual. She is supa sharp, friendly and FLY, toting both a cool life story & of how the store came to be. Chatting with her and her staff through my visit made for a fun shopping experience. Aw they got some sweet lil' puppies in dere too. Lovin' that. All the clothing I inspected- I am a shopper who dallies- was in impeccably good condition. I am not normally the type to blow a lot of dough in one place but I developed romantic relationships with several items and, even after strategically leaving the store to spend the afternoon thinking over whether or not I REALLY wanted them, I returned because turns out I REALLY REALLY DID. At this vintage boutique, the quality and one-of-a-kind nature of the piece comprises the price, which, though not cheap, is worth it if you are the type that cares for your clothes properly. I just wanted to jump in headfirst and buy everything even though i didn't have a single dime on me. They definitely don't sell filler stuff here! everything is quality awesome stuff. Yes, it's pricey for what it is. usually i'd say "hell naw" and the odds are pretty good that i won't be able to shop here as much as i want, but like i said, there is good stuff here. a lot of the clothes are set up in sections in the shelves to go together. everything about the store is very appealing. as soon as i walked in i exclaimed "i didn't know this place was here!" and one of the girls who worked there looked up from what she was doing and smiled and chatted with me about their hours, etc. very nice, well dressed people here that aren't pretentious or rude! everything else about it is pretty straight forward. i'm just excited to find a nice place close to home that i don't have to dig for hours to emerge with only one good thing!
