I was in the store for about 20 minutes. So why was the young black salesperson following me? Either the salesperson is racist against her own people or staff is trained to follow black people. Either way, it's not good. Needless to say, I'll never shop at this store again. My recommendation: don't shop in this store if you're African-American. Go elsewhere where you're treated like everyone else, with some respect.

I had not passed by since before the pandemic so it's definitely been a while for me, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the array of upscale offerings here in Center City. It was mostly accessories that would appeal to me, since unlike Saks Fifth Avenue, they do not have a plus size section aka anything north of a size 10 in clothing. But their handbags and their shoes were as beautiful as they come. If you're looking for anything from Victoria Beckham, I think this might be the one place in Philadelphia to find her dresses. But the store gets props for featuring a handmade cashmere and mohair sweater line that was simply dazzling! I was inspired enough that I will return!
