I really can't speak to their merchandise, but I do want to thank the staff at this store for the kindness they showed to me this afternoon. I fell on the sidewalk in front of the store, and within seconds one of the staff was right there to help. With the assistance of this young man, and a few other pedestrians, I got to my feet. I was able to get cleaned up in the store, and they helped me cover my scrapes, and made sure I was okay, before I headed home. Pretty standard UNIQLO. Given that it's so embedded in the city, it's pretty amazing that this place is clean and operating pretty well. Dressing rooms are even pretty clean and easy to use! Staff are upbeat and quick to help you with your order, or to help you navigate around the store. I have found that this store regularly runs sales on remotely older stock, so if you stop by every once in a while, you're sure to get a discount on last month's stuff, or just anything they're trying to empty out. UNIQLO as a whole will charge slightly more than you might expect, but you're getting the quality stuff, especially when it comes to their special fabric lines. If you're not into that, fault the brand as a whole-- this store is just doing what other stores do consistently. read more

Prices felt higher than other locations, and the first floor was messy and a bit chaotic. Both floors have dressing rooms (including a second-floor entrance), but lines were long and slow--especially on the first floor, which felt like waiting for a shower stall. Online return policy is horrible. I love your product but your new return policy for online orders doesn't make sense. I had my order shipped to the store for pick up. I tried on the items in the fitting room and did not like them. I was told with the new policy I couldn't return them in store but instead had to take them home, initiate the return AND pay a $7 fee to return them. Please make it make sense. I had only visited the locations in NY, so I was pretty excited to check out this store. I love their winter jackets but is summer and I live in Florida. The women's clothes are located on the second floor. I found some great value items. I really loved the quality of their products and their basics and t-shirts. I was very impressed about their customer service and the self payment checkout. After proceeding to the self checkout register and setting my items on the little box on the side, I thought It was going to be a long process but it took just a couple of minutes because i didn't need to "scan" anything, everything gets scanned automatically by ITSELF so basically you only need to press a few buttons to finish your transaction and if you need help their staff members are genuinely nice and friendly. Not a great experience here. We LOVE the light down jacket and own several colors- but my daughter recently spilled syrup on hers and so I hand washed it following the care instructions. It pilled up inside the little pockets and ruined. I brought into store to show them the defect and was originally told to take to front desk for an exchange. But when I got to front I was told I could not exchange it bc spilling syrup is a "wear and tear" issue. I guess their jackets are only as good as until you need to wash. Heaven forbid you spill during the first wearing as that seems to null and void the exchange- even if it's clearly defective. Staff wasn't overly nice either. Bottom line- don't buy unless certain you won't need to wash and don't expect service at this location. read more

I'm reading a lot of the 1-2 stars and seeing a lot of people expecting way too much. It has basic cloths and they're not bad for the price, especially when they're on sale. Most of it goes on sale pretty quick. I like it, when i need basic things that wont' break the bank. it's a good go to spot vs hm, gap. People who complain about price and customer service. I honestly really love this Uniqlo. They always have friendly staff in here, who greet you and are willing to help you find what you may need. They have all of your essential pieces with the bonus of it being well designed - tees, pants, jackets, etc. Many different color options, many different sizes. Great ambience - well-lit, clean, inclusive. It's definitely a place to check out. Particularly for the fashion aficionados who are into sensible, trendy wardrobe pieces. This is actually a really good place. What makes it so is that the people are genuinely friendly, they consistently give you a hello and welcome greeting, the store is clean and organized unlike H&M, and overall it has a great Ambiance about it. When I ask for help the staff is friendly. The fitting room in the men's section downstairs is run well enough. The selection of clothes is well enough in that with a sale I can get $15 Chino shorts and premium French linen shirts. I have trouble finding those at a reasonable price in the city. In the winter I intend on buying some mock neck shirts from here and I think the quality will be good. Their socks are cheap I believe four pairs for 10 bucks in a good quality. However, I would like to see a better variety of colors. Improvements I would like to see are an expansion of the men's fitting room downstairs because sometimes there can be a line. Also, I would like to see each individual fitting room enlarged because they're narrow. I was first introduced to Uniqlo in New York City and I was blown away by the quality and price and shopping experience. That has translated well enough to the Philadelphia store. read more

I hadn't shopped here before until last Friday. I want that into the style and thought the clothing looked and felt cheap. Then the rain came. My rain coat is only waist long and my frontal thigh area was getting all wet. My original intention was to buy a cheap poncho. How I ended up in this store the world May never know. I found a sale rack in the basement with a knee length weather resistant coat for $40. I considered this a steal. I tried on all three sizes. Shockingly the only thing I was not swimming in was a small. Every other piece of clothing I own is a large. So first off if you intend to buy something here you need to try it on. Now let's fast forward to today. It's the first Tuesday since I bought my new coat. I'm out on business. So I am using my phone to google where I need to be. While parked of course. Like a butterfingers I drop my phone on the passenger side floor. I lean to get it. It requires a little stretching. Suddenly I hear a ripping sound. I'm like what the fuck! I instantly know it must be the coat. I move back to my seat and inspect the damage. Like I suspected the coat has ripped right next to the pocket. I can't believe it! I don't know that I've ever worn another piece of clothing that has ripped so easily. I was leaning over a goddamn armrest. Where does this leave us? I can no longer use my brand new coat to go to work meetings. A total waste of $40. read more

Great Uniqlo store located in Center City across the street from Liberty Place. This place has what I call 3 1/2 levels. The first floor is men's clothes and the second floor has men and women clothes and a small kids section while the floor between the second and third floors (I call it 1/2 since it's half the size) has the casual men and women's clothing while the third floor has women and children's clothes. I thought the men's store had most of all the online clothes and a had a great selection of sizes and colors. I was a little disappointed with the selection for girls clothes. They definitely have more choices online. What I love about shopping in Philly/Pennsylvania is the no sales tax on clothes. read more

Not the biggest store I've been to, but I'm still a very big fan. I love their clothes, I love their fashion and I love their exclusivity. There's only a handful of these stores in America, so if you come across one during your travels. Buy something, shop and brag about it to your friends. On Dec 1 2021 I found out Uniqlo changed their return policy on uniqlo.com, I don't know when, if you buy online you can't return it in the store as it used to be. This is a HUGE issue since Uniqlo DON'T OFFER PHONE SERVICE as well. Based on previous experiences I WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER bought from online if I knew it can't be return in the store. I mailed 2 packages on Dec 1, today the packages were handed to Fedex? Customer service is horrendous, they don't read messages, come with questions showing they have no idea about what's going on and this is VERY BAD. AVOID buying online, save yourself a chain of irritating events, delays and useless communication. Both screen shots taken on Dec 7 2021, I can't make sense of it and there is nobody to ask about. There's always things on sale. The sunglasses are only $14.90 and are polarized! I have several sweaters and tees that I love. The store is clean and well lit. Customer service is good. I was in Toronto the other day and visited the Eaton Centre. I came across UNIQLO and was excited to stop in. However, they were closed for an inventory restock. Since I couldn't go in Toronto, I decided to go to their Philadelphia location. I came in and was welcomed by Eric. He was really nice, but I wish he knew the location of their UNIQLO sport collection. At least, he had lead me to the right direction. Downstairs, I picked up some good tennis shirts and an Andy Warhol, color-pop shirt as well as a Wendy's hamburger shirt. The salesman down there was nice and gave me his opinion on different shirts. My only concern was that their tennis did not have the UNIQLO logo like what Nishikori, my favorite tennis player wears. I later found out that the logo shirts are only available in their larger New York store or online! I also picked up a couple of other items including some athletic shorts and a sweatshirt! I have been to a few Uniqlo stores, SoHo in NYC, King of Prussia, Cherry Hill and Center City Philadelphia. The selection in center city is very good, much better then the mall stores. It is not as big as the NYC store but still a lot larger then their mall stores. This store had 3 floors. The staff here has always been pleasant. I like it that Uniglo runs specials fairly often. Last night my wife, daughter and myself all bought faux shearling sweat pants. Wow, these things are comfortable. So far the quality of Uniglo has been good. They do a nice job with their displays at this location also and the store is super bright, almost sunglasses wearing bright. I am glad that Uniglo put a larger store in Philadelphia. Uniqlo is my go to store for affordable basic wear ranging from tshirts to jeans to outerwear and dress shirts!!! Quality and Feel: At first I chalked up the quality and feel of their clothes to luck but after shopping there for several months, I can attest to the great feel and quality in uniqlo's jeans, dress shirts, and outerwear specifically! Albeit most of the clothes are line dry but I'll definitely pay that price to be comfortable! Cost: So at baseline I would place uniqlo between H&m and Express in terms of cost. That places most items in the $20 - 40 range, which I think is good but don't we all wish things had superb quality and was dirt cheap ?!?!? Which leads me too..... Sale: The sales are probably the reason why this place is my new go to store. I don't mean the obvious July 4th or Black Friday sales but the everyday sale items uniqlo offers. Many times they are scattered all around the store but I have been able to routinely get $10 dress shirts that were regularly $40. Today I got some jeans for 75% off and was extremely pleased!! Lastly shopping the sales is still hit or miss but imo uniqlo doesn't limit their sales to the extremes of size like xs and xl. read more

I love this uniqlo! It's decently large and with 2 floors there's quite a variety. Only one set of fitting rooms on the first floor but I've never had an issue waiting in line for them (usually weekday evenings). There are almost always sale items at the far sides of the aisles (red tags) so be sure to check those out! read more

So today, 6/21/2019 I go into UNIQLO looking to redeem my promo and as always they wouldn't accept my promo that I've received from the rewards program, and the cashier, as always was very short and unprofessional about the situation. I've never been to a business that doesn't communicate with their rewards programs. The cashier tried to explain to me that my promo was expired but my promo can be used up until 6/24/19. This isn't the first unprofessional experience I've had at UNIQLO in the past usually when I need to try something on the person who's running the dressing is very rude and snappy. They have a good selection of clothes, and price points are very great but service and communication with the rewards program is terrible. read more

After getting over the very short-lived honeymoon period (I.e. 4 washes of the overpriced shirt I bought and realized it fell apart quickly), I have come to understand that UNIQLO is nothing but a marketing tool. It touts variety but lacks quality, value, craftsmanship, and fair price. For example, all their pants are ridiculously long (35 inches!) they state "free hemming" on pants over 20$ but fail to mention that means just a crappy one-stitch external job that looks so bad you are forced to do the 10-20$ option which jacks the price up. The actual store experience is awful as well. I was in line once and was told by the employee in front of me (who was leisurely talking over her purchase) to "Just go to another line man, it's not worth it, I'm going to take a while". I was quite put-off by the employees rude tone and her bad attitude toward me. I simply left and forfeited my 300$ purchase which was actually probably a good thing in the long-run as it saved me over-spending on poor quality clothes (all the decent looking stuff is never in stock). Save yourself the hassle and the experience if being yelled at and opt for the classic (and mediocre but better quality) H and M down the street. read more

Wow, I really like this uniqlo location. Three (and a half) floors worth of glorious uniqlo merchandise. Bottom floor is men, top floor is women, ground floor is a mix of both (and the 1.5 half floor is kids). Reasons why I love this uniqlo location in particular: + the kids stock is surprisingly comprehensive and great. don't judge me. I fit in the clothes so I will damn well try them on. + no lines, ever. Not for the cash, not for the fitting room, not for anything. + parts of their SPRZ collection can be found here! + on that note, they seem to have quite a few collections that I haven't found in the New York brick and mortar stores. (Example: the pure blue japan collection or the UU kids collection.) I have no idea what determines which locations get which collections, but for some reason this one gets some pretty nice attention from the HQ overlords when they decide what goes where. + the SAs. Honestly I have never met an SA from uniqlo that I didn't like, but it's still always worth giving them a shout out. They're so friendly! I only wish it were easier for me to get to this location. You would not imagine how psyched I was when I saw a board ad for Uniqlo in Philly. My boyfriend and I were visiting for two days and when we saw the ad, we both turned to each other and said, "We have to go!" Folks, that's true love right there. I usually frequent the Uniqlo on 5th Ave in New York City and shell out over $100 for tons of basics. I've gotten T-shirts, leggings, tank tops, hoodies, and skirts at Uniqlo in the past. The one in NYC is enormous, obviously since it's their flagship store. This one is a little smaller but still three levels for men, women, and children. I headed straight for the third floor - women's - and started looking through the racks. Their inventory is pretty well stocked and since we're in the colder months, they've got all the jackets, sweaters, flannels, and pants you need to stay warm. Since it was the day after Christmas, there were surprisingly not as many clearance/sale items as I was expecting but I did manage to pick up an adorable skirt for 60% off and a comfy flannel shirt. Certainly not as much as I usually buy at Uniqlo but money well spent. As I've detailed in my other Uniqlo post, I prefer Uniqlo over H&M/Gap/Forever 21 since Uniqlo clothes tend to fit me better. The quality of Uniqlo is way better than H&M (clothes that shrink after one wash/dry cycle? Goooodbye H&M!) and the prices are reasonable. the brand new 4 story uniqlo store on chestnut street is finally open!! i went in today to check things out, and i was very impressed. if you've been to a lot of the other east coast uniqlo locations, you know they specialize in a large collection of basic wear for all seasons, and this store is no exception. it is a massive and daunting 4 floors (lower level, first floor, mezzanine, and second floor) but is packed with just the right amount of merchandise so that the space is nicely filled out without being oppressively crammed. there's something for everyone in the family. men's wear is on the lower level and first floor. women's is on the first and second floors. and the children's section occupies the mezzanine level. i love the use of the mirrored escalators and plenty of mirrors throughout the store. there's even mood lighting in the stairwells and a digital ticker that lines the first floor. it reminds me most of the 5th ave store in nyc. the employees here are also friendly and take the initiative to help you out whenever possible. being a loyal customer of uniqlo since its inception in the united states, i was happy to find that this store stocks the MoMA-inspired SPRZ NY collection as well as the +J collection. not every uniqlo store stocks a comprehensive inventory (for example, the king of prussia store), but glad to see they pulled out all the stops for the first philly store. also, opening weekend means lots of promotions on uniqlo's most popular items and even some free giveaways! all the more reason to stop in asap :) read more

This place uses this massive space well and a great addition to Chestnut Street. It had a TON of clothing in here but surprisingly isn't a big mess, the staff is friendly and very helpful. The presentation of the clothing is very organized and well sized. The space is very bright and the music is pretty loud, total sensory overload. I like that the space is large enough so that I can take DS here in his stroller without crashing into racks and displays like other stores in the city, which is VERY annoying. The store is laid out well and easy to navigate. The selection is great and the prices can't be beat. I don't know much about Uniqlo but I know that they have some of their specialty lines at this location, so when I have time, I will definitely spend some time perusing the other items! read more

Mediocre clothing, overpriced, incredibly disorganized company. We ordered several shirts from this company offline at the suggestion of a friend. For the price they cost I wasn't remotely impressed. Finally found the time to drive downtown to return the shirts in person (as they charge to return via mail); they won't accept the return because I don't have the EXACT card used to purchase the shirts (same name, another CC on the same account, but no luck). Okay fine; I won't get back to the city in time to return them in person before it goes passed the deadline to return... So I opt to mail them myself with USPS because it's a cheaper rate than they charge to return with their included label. I wait in line at USPS, send it off, all is well... Until 4 weeks later I get a refund with the RETURN LABEL FEE charged. I mailed it myself so I wouldn't have to pay your stupid return label fee!!! So we e-mail them and ask them to correct the mistake... They respond and ask for us to find our receipt and send us the tracking number to prove it. Are you kidding me??? You can't just LOOK at the label and realize it's not one of your own??? Don't waste your time or money with this company. read more

I purchased 2 kids navy fleece sweater, 1 women's sweater, 1 thermal t-shirt, 2 sets of kids hats and scarves. I spent about $120. Got free gift bags for spending over $50. Money well spent and check out was great. Pedro folded, gift receipt each of my gifts and tied a pretty bow to my gifts. He made me wanna come back and spend more in UniQlo stores. Lol. This brand new flagship store is three times the size of the King of Prussia store with three times the selection. Being a bigger guy I found it challenging sometimes to find things in my size at the KOP store, however that wasn't the case here. This store is 3 floors of uniqlo goodness. Main floor has both men and women's clothes while the basement floor is all guys' stuff and the 2nd floor is all womens' stuff. The staff are super helpful and seem to have that perfect balance of attentiveness when asking if you need help, but not stalking you closely throughout the store making you feel like you're being stalked. Uniqlo is a brand that offers classic less is more style for a very affordable price and high quality. read more

This is the worst UNIQLO ever! I was in different UNIQLO stores in different countries, but yesterday experience was awful. Uniqlo on Walnut has two cashiers: ground level and a cashier downstairs. The cashier downstairs is not working at all, and there's constantly a huge line on ground level. Stuff is rude and they don't apologize. I asked them, why is another cashier not working, their response was: I know it's not working. The personnel pretends that they're not hearing you when you ask questions. You can stand in the same line with people, who're returning their stuff and wait forever. This Uniqlo is a mess! read more
