Found my dream dress here!! And within my budget! I went to two bridal shops in San Diego then this was the first I checked out in LA, and didn't need to go anywhere else! I shared some inspiration pics before my first appointment and Sherri immediately knew what I was looking for and pulled great options for me to try. I quickly found my top choice and came back a few days later to make the purchase. Sherri was very knowledgeable about every dress in her shop and supported me every step of the decision. I felt so confident saying yes to the dress here! This is a hidden gem tucked away in Sawtelle. It's not pretentious but rather a casual and relaxed atmosphere with fairly priced dresses and accessories. I also love that they do alterations in house. There has never been a more penny pinching and less moral booking policy. Only 15 of my 200+ reviews are 1 star, so I don't choose that ranking lightly, especially for a small local business. We booked an appointment 4 or 5 days ahead of time, as there was full availability on the calendar for weekdays. There is a 48 hour cancellation window, and at hour 47 we realized that the timing conflicted slightly with a work matter (when we made the appointment we were in New York and miscalculated the time difference). An email was sent at the 47th hour (1 hour after the window), mentioning the issue and asking if it could still be canceled since it was so close to the window, and apologizing for missing the window. The owner replied and specifically said "No problem, we've gone ahead and canceled the appointment for you". At this point, we figured all was well as they made no mention of still charging the fee. A few weeks later, we noticed the charge was still there. A quick email reply came when we inquired saying it was past their window and no refund was due. IF this was the case, why did the original email not say so and why did they make 0 effort to reschedule or ask if another time worked better? OR we could have made it work if she hadn't responded so positively. What a slimy way to make a quick $27 for nothing. I will restate that the calendar was still really really open (ie, it was not a highly sough after appointment slot taken from anyone else even on the off chance they were booking in the 2-4 days out window). Overall, it is a blessing the appointment didn't happen after reading some of these reviews about how the owner acts in person (no surprise there). Ended up with a beautiful dress from Berta and would highly recommend their new LA showroom on Beverly. read more

The entire staff played a part in helping find the right dress actually!! Fleurish LA was my 4th and last stop on my wedding dress shopping journey and after coming here, I knew I didn't need to look any further! The experience itself felt super personal and welcoming. Allie was so helpful and patient with an indecisive person like me. I found a few dresses that I loved from here. I thought that they had a really great selection and the prices were really reasonable too. Once I picked out THE dress, Sherri, the owner, was super helpful with my questions about some alterations I wanted to make. She also gave the tip that my dress came in petite which saved me a lot of money on hemming as the length ended up being perfect for my height!! I also picked out my beautiful veil here too!   They were communicative about the timeline for when the dress would arrive and setting up my alteration appointments. It was a huge bonus that they worked with someone to help with alterations, so I didn't have to search or worry about the quality. Paty was soooo great, easy to work with and was able to help with all of the alterations I had wanted (adding a lining in the chest/front, off the shoulder sleeves and a bustle).   The dress turned out amazing and is really a testament to the whole team here at Fleurish! I purchased my wedding dress from Fleurish in October 2024. The experience at the store was great, but there are some details of my experience that give me pause. I specifically went to Fleurish to check out Besa Bridal. I found a Besa dress I loved, but they said they had stopped ordering from the brand since the brand had not been fulfilling orders in time. They said I could purchase the dress off the rack (no discount) and mentioned another bride was also interested. Feeling like I could miss out on my dream dress, I ended up buying it and taking it home that day. That same day, I noticed the same dress I bought was now on Anthropologie's site for half the price. I reached out to Fleurish and they gave me a small refund, claiming they did not know the dress would be sold at Anthropologie. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but now over a year later they continue to sell Besa in their stores and promote them on social media. I love my dress and received so many compliments, but can't help thinking I fell victim to shady sales tactics and hesitate recommending the brand and this shop. read more

Pros: A nice selection of dresses that can fit a range of styles; clean store. Cons: Came in back in Spring 2025. Rude owner and shady sales tactics. I asked for dresses within a specific price range and made this clear from the beginning of my appointment, before the associate and I started looking. It was disappointing that a dress priced 50% over my budget was included, and when I questioned it, she slyly smiled and mentioned the price. When I tried to discuss negotiating the price with the owner, I was spoken to rudely and even had a hand waved in my face. I understand the need to sell dresses at certain price points, but there are far better ways to handle this without being rude or deceptive. Period. Also, I think the store should mention on their FAQ--or at least during the appointment booking--that a dog will be present. I love dogs, but a friend who came with me is highly allergic and started sneezing about 15 minutes into the appointment. That's not okay. read more

I am so so grateful to Fleurish LA for helping me find my dress! My wedding is just over 3 months away and I had no idea that I was so late to the dress game... I booked an appointment last week and Sherry (owner) called me later that evening and we had a really nice discussion about what dresses I like, my style, etc. Yesterday, I met with Lili and she had already pulled a bunch of dresses within my budget and in the style of pictures I emailed ahead of time. I brought my 2 best friends and tried on about a dozen dresses. Lili was so nice and patient and helpful - she really made the day special for me. Best of all, I said 'yes' to the dress! She calculated that it would arrive in time for alterations and she was able to order more applique to make the dress a little less revealing (for my personal taste!). There was also another woman there who helped at the end who was also really nice and very helpful (I'm sorry I forgot your name!) I am so happy that I found Fleurish L.A. when I was searching for bridal shops, and I highly recommend Fleurish L.A. to others! I appreciated that they had me fill out a detailed questionnaire before the appointment, and one of the consultants Allie called me ahead of time to discuss what I was looking for and what dresses were available for me to try on. Allie was very helpful and patient with trying to figure out what I liked or did not like about each dress I tried on, so that we could get closer to figuring out what I wanted. Highly recommend this bridal boutique for some of the most beautiful dresses, a personalized shopping experience, and a warm environment. I had a wonderful experience here at Fleurish. When I arrived for my first appointment, Amanda had all the gowns I had selected ready for me to try on, and we walked around the boutique to pick out some other dresses to try. She was so lovely to help me into my dresses, taking photos, and guiding me in finding the right dress and fit. Fleurish LA was the 2nd shop I went to. I loved their support on my journey. And felt gorgeous in a whole new style I didn't think I'd prefer - mermaid / fitted! First, they have a transparent website organized by style/designer. I recommend checking it out to get a sense of what you're looking for before you go in. Their options aren't too overwhelming. I love how they curate their selection. Lots of comfortable, not super formal and flashy, boho dresses for my $1000-2000 range. When I walked in I was greeted warmly. My consultant was very friendly and professional, answered any questions I had. She first asked me to describe the kind of dress and feeling I was going for. Then she respectfully asked for my budget. Then she is able to introduce me to designers and dresses within my budget range. Then I got to browse through and select as many as I wanted to try on. She recommended a few too. I appreciate being able to see price tag for each. I originally went for A-line but fell in love with two fitted Lillian West dresses. They were super comfortable too! I felt light and mobile in these fitted dresses :D Whether you have clear vision for your dress or it's your first time, they'll meet you where you're at. I had a WONDERFUL experience at Fleurish LA! FIRST of all she was amazing, she had music on and took time to ask me about my preferences to hone in on what looks to try on. I totally forgot to make a list of preferences but it was ok because she guides me through it. Her very sweet dog was there and she let me pet him to calm my nerves if I had any :-). She didn't rush me to make a decision in each look either. We did a great visualization exercise to help me hone in on "The One". Turns out her and I went to school in the same area on the east coast! So there were TONS of positive vibes. I said yes!!! So- I was looking for a very specific dress by Chic Nostalgia that is damn near impossible to find. I tried this story because they were listed as a retailer on the designer's site. When I was checking out Fleurish LA's site, I actually tried the chat feature and got Sherri live- no robot!! She told me that the specific dress I was hunting down would be at her shop for a curated trunk show this month- even told me the day it would arrive. I immediately scheduled an appointment. (Note- other shops I talked to told me it would be impossible to try this dress on- that I could only order it straight from the designer). Sherri- she is great and she remembered me from the chat! She pulled several dresses for me because I definitely wanted to try more than just the one I was excited about. My mom wanted me to try on other things but Sherri could read my style and knew what I wanted, (although I tried one on for mom just to make her happy). Anyways- long story longer, I knew from the moment I saw it that I wanted the dress I hunted down and wanted to say yes while I was there. But mom wanted me to try on more (this was only the second day of trying on dresses but I tried every silhouette and have looked at literally hundreds). Over lunch, it became clear to my mom and mom-in-law that my heart was set. I called Sherri and she let us come back so I could measured- no separate appointment necessary. I cried tears of joy and the stars were really aligned in this whole experience- I WISH I could share a picture of the dress but not 'til after the wedding. I truly do not know how Fleurish pulled it off, but from rush ordering my dress, squeezing in my fittings, AND customizing the dress (removing bow, adding slit) - they somehow did it. I didn't think I'd get the dress I wanted given the short time frame and the team made it happen for me. Thank you - such an incredibly important part of my day that could have been incredibly stressful but instead I felt so taken care of. To be honest, I was very nervous to write this review, and have been since my two experiences at Fleurish when I bought my dress in 2019. But after reading how similar my experience was to the other poor reviews, I knew I wasn't overreacting. Unfortunately for me, I bought a too-expensive dress that I feel horrible in. As previous reviewers have noted, Sherri the owner can come off as rude and aggressive. After I found a dress I really liked, Sherri pressured me into ordering a size down because 1: "most brides lose weight before the wedding" and 2: I "shouldn't want to be the second largest size in the store". Me being a person who has struggled with body image issues immediately felt immediately triggered into bad habits; I caved to the pressure and ordered the smaller dress. After forcing myself to lose weight, I return to Fleurish a few months later to try on my dress for the tailor. The dress almost fit, but it was tight in the bust because of my bigger chest. Sherri's response was to *laugh* at me, and told me that I "promised to lose weight". She even pointed to a note in her ledger that said "bride will lose weight." Thankfully the tailor had reassured me that she could easily take the dress out an inch so that it would fit me better. (And she did!) I don't think it's kind, healthy or professional to suggest to brides they should lose weight in order to fit into a wedding dress. And if I am the "second largest size of the store" what type of bodies are you catering to? My wedding unfortunately got postponed to 2021 due to COVID, but this experience has made me hate my dress and not want to walk down the aisle in it. I'm already looking to sell it and get a new dress that makes me feel good about myself. I wouldn't recommend Fleurish to anyone I know, especially if you're larger than a US size 8. read more
