Having been to 5 other appointments, I could see she has a good eye for what the client wants while providing a comfortable and relaxed environment. I did not feel pressured at all to make a decision which I appreciated. When making my decision I mentioned that I wished the train of the dress was longer, and they were able to custom request a longer train for me which was amazing. I highly recommend Luv Bridal, especially if you're looking for a dress around $2K! I found other stores to not have as much selection and the quality of materials was not as good for dresses in my budget.

I was greeted right away at the front desk and immediately amazed by how stunning the shop is. I absolutely loved the layout and overall atmosphere. The only small thing I would mention is that the lighting is a little lacking. You don't really notice it until you visit another bridal shop, but it is definitely on the darker end. That being said, it's a very minor detail compared to how beautiful the space and experience are overall! My associate, Kristina, was absolutely amazing. She truly bent over backwards to help me customize the dresses and try different things so I could envision exactly how they would look with some of my special requests. She was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and I never once felt pressured or like anyone was being overly "salesy." It genuinely felt like everyone there wanted what was best for me and wanted me to find the right dress. Their appointments are free and their dress costs start at $1,500 which was a big reason I wanted to visit. Kristina and the entire Luv Bridal team made both me and my girls feel so welcome, comfortable, and taken care of. I'm so glad I chose Luv Bridal for my first bridal appointment and ended up coming back to say yes to the dress.

Since the Asian employee was busy, the Latina employee initially helped us. However, when two other customers walked in, the Latina employee stopped assisting us and focused on them instead. We were left waiting without anyone acknowledging us or checking if we needed help. It felt like the other customers were receiving much better service. I had already tried on a couple of hair pieces and didn't want to remove them myself because I was afraid of damaging them, so I waited for someone to assist me. Once the Asian employee finished with her customer, I asked for help. She was kind, patient, and helped me choose a hair piece. I had also planned to purchase earrings, but after the experience, I decided not to. I ended up purchasing only the hair piece. While the quality was nice, I personally found the items to be overpriced. A funny part of the experience was that the customers the Latina employee left us for didn't end up buying anything, despite her providing them with much better customer service than she provided us. I don't know why our experience was so different, but it honestly made me wonder if she had judged us based on appearances because we weren't given the same level of attention or courtesy. If you're shopping with a budget under $100, this may not be the right place for you, and it could save you time to shop elsewhere. Unfortunately, the lack of acknowledgment and inconsistent customer service left a bad impression. Because of that, I don't plan on returning.

Instead of being welcomed, the front desk staff laughed, and one of them asked, "What are you doing here?" I replied, "I have an appointment," and they all laughed again. Looking back, I should have walked out then, but I decided to give them a chance. I was told I had to wait because no one was available to help me, even though there were four staff members standing at the front. I was told to look through the racks for dresses while I waited. Since it was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, I didn't know the process. Later, I noticed signs everywhere saying not to walk through the aisles, so my mom and I stood to the side and waited. After about 20 minutes, someone finally came to help us. She immediately asked which dresses I wanted to try on. I explained that I had no idea because this was my first bridal appointment and I was hoping for some guidance. She seemed visibly annoyed. She pulled a few dresses, and one of them was absolutely beautiful--I genuinely loved it. However, the overall attitude made me uncomfortable. At one point, she told me the dress was around $5,000 and then asked, "Can you afford it?" I replied, "Yes, I can." After that, I noticed other staff members gathering around and suddenly walking by to compliment how beautiful the dress looked on me. It felt very insincere. Even though I loved the dress, I decided not to purchase it. Buying a wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I didn't feel confident moving forward with a boutique where I felt unwelcome and judged. I politely ended my appointment and left. As I was walking out, I heard one of the employees say, "I told you they weren't going to buy it." That confirmed I had made the right decision. Thankfully, I found my dream dress at a wonderful bridal boutique in Costa Mesa, where I was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine excitement. The difference in customer service was night and day. Every bride deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Also she gives you free alterations which I'm grateful for because I lost alot of unexpected weight due to the wedding planning process. Angel is a very busy woman so occasionally she was slow to respond to calls and messages. Besides that I can honestly say I'm so glad I chose Lucky Brides.

My stylist was Alexa and she was amazing! Unfortunately, some of the dresses I wanted to try on wasn't available at the store, but Alexa pulled some similar styles. She was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. The appointment lasted one hour. Remember to ask your stylist to measure you! I was going to get measured, but decided to retry on a dress and totally forgot. The dresses are very good quality at an affordable price! I am so glad there is a showroom and feel much better about ordering my dress online now!

I was looking for a certain dress by David Tutera and was having a hard time with rude vendors and over priced sales... This store came recommended. I checked out all of the reviews and so far so good:) So... I decided to call the store and asked to speak with the owner Johnnie, who was extremely knowledgeable and courteous! He confidently answered all my questions, and I began to lose the frustration and anxiety that had been building up:) Mind you, I had to drive two hours to a destination unknown, reviews or not. Honestly though, the feeling I got told me it'd be worth it. So my friend and I paid for parking, and got to the store. The area is in downtown la, which I hadn't heard good things about. Didn't matter bc, Johnnie and his lovely sales associates made us feel super comfortable upon arrival! Everything after that was smooth sailing. I was able to make an affordable deposit and even got fitted for a smaller size than prior fittings! It was easy, and the feeling of excitement came rushing back! I would recommend this place to any bride bc they will work with your budget instead of up selling. Lifesavers they are! I'll be back next week with my bridesmaids!! I love this place! Everyone here is so helpful and honest when you ask them their opinion. They listen to what your concerns are, what you are looking for in your dream wedding dress, and make helpful suggestions/options of dress styles. I told them a rough idea of what I was looking for and to be frank I am an indecisive person, but they are so patient and quickly brought plenty of options based on my very vague vision of my dream wedding dress. I quickly fell in love with a Justin Alexander dress. Luckily for me, the actual designer was in the store and it was his last day there when I came and if I had not come sooner the dress of my dreams was not going to be there!! They even texted me when my wedding dress was ready to pick up. When I came to pick up my dress, the veil that I had purchased was made incorrectly, but they handled the situation so professionally. They knew I live far away from them so they offered to mail it out to me free of charge and texted me when they had mailed it out to my address and when it came it was beautiful! We didn't have a ton of time but they were quick, friendly, helpful, and knew their stuff. They made a lasting impression. I continued dress shopping in Oregon and tried on a multitude of dresses. When I had finally decided on the dress I knew I was going to get the best deal and care from Modern Bride. Even months later, they remembered me and knew what style I was looking for. They helped me decide on the color and then shipped the dress up to Oregon for free. Johnnie and his team were exceptional. This was the first dress store I went to and while small, still had a great selection of designer gowns. They had lots of great options, from princess to form fitting, from lace to tulle, from long sleeve to strapless, they had it all. The team was super patient working with me to find my dream dress and I'm so lucky I did! Not to mention, the price was exceptional. I work in procurement so I definitely did my due diligence and Johnnie gave me a great deal. Throughout the whole process, the Modern Bride team helped with the purchase, the alterations, and even gave me a lace face mask to match my dress. I would 100% recommend Modern Bride. I walked in the store knowing somewhat of the styles I was into... she gave me different options and I ended up picking something I won't have even thought of but I LOVED IT! Then I happened ti walk by Saint Alexis purely off of good vibes I felt. Let me tell you!!! They had exactly what I had imagined in my mind AND the dresses all zipped up and fit me enough to truly see how I felt in them. Karla made me feel so cared for, beautiful, and special. I ended up coming back a couple of hours later to show my friends and she accommodated me to try on my 2 favs again. Girls! The way I sobbed when I put on THE dress. I've never felt so beautiful in my life. The next day, I talked to Sujey about an issue with my card for the deposit and she was so kind and helpful. She answered all my questions and even said she heard about my appointment. I highly recommend this place for their service, pricing, and overall experience!

On 5/25/26 at approximately 2:30 PM, I attended this business for an appointment. The first employee assisting me, a woman with light/blonde textured hair, immediately came across as rushed, impatient, and frankly uninterested in providing decent customer service. The interaction felt cold and uncomfortable. Despite the poor experience, I decided to give the business another chance because I truly wanted to see whether they carried the dress I had been looking for. I scheduled a second appointment hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, they did not. I returned on 5/26/26 at 2:30 PM and was assisted by a different employee, a woman with short black hair. While she may not have intended to be outright rude, she was far from helpful or welcoming. From the beginning, the atmosphere felt tense and oddly accusatory. She repeatedly expressed concern about dresses being damaged and made comments implying customers could ruin merchandise if not supervised. Most uncomfortable of all, she insisted on remaining inside or extremely close to the dressing room area during the fitting process. I completely understand businesses protecting their inventory. That is reasonable. However, there is a professional, respectful way to do that without making paying customers feel distrusted, monitored, or like they are somehow a problem before they've done anything wrong. The overall tone of the appointment felt less like dress shopping and more like being watched under suspicion. Shopping for an important dress should be exciting, welcoming, and memorable for the right reasons. Instead, I left feeling dissatisfied, uncomfortable, and honestly horrified by how awkward and unprofessional the experience had become. I have visited many boutiques and bridal/formalwear establishments where staff manage expensive inventory professionally while still treating customers with kindness, dignity, and warmth. There is a clear difference between attentive service and hovering, dismissive behavior. At the end of the day, I learned a lesson: sometimes the "discount" is simply not worth sacrificing customer service and professionalism. I would personally recommend considering a reputable boutique instead, where employees understand hospitality, communication, and how to make customers feel valued rather than inconvenienced. This experience left me disappointed, and I hope management takes customer feedback seriously because there is significant room for improvement in professionalism, training, and overall client treatment.

Since it was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, I didn't know the process. Later, I noticed signs everywhere saying not to walk through the aisles, so my mom and I stood to the side and waited. After about 20 minutes, someone finally came to help us. She immediately asked which dresses I wanted to try on. I explained that I had no idea because this was my first bridal appointment and I was hoping for some guidance. She seemed visibly annoyed. She pulled a few dresses, and one of them was absolutely beautiful--I genuinely loved it. However, the overall attitude made me uncomfortable. At one point, she told me the dress was around $5,000 and then asked, "Can you afford it?" I replied, "Yes, I can." After that, I noticed other staff members gathering around and suddenly walking by to compliment how beautiful the dress looked on me. It felt very insincere. Even though I loved the dress, I decided not to purchase it. Buying a wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I didn't feel confident moving forward with a boutique where I felt unwelcome and judged. I politely ended my appointment and left. As I was walking out, I heard one of the employees say, "I told you they weren't going to buy it." That confirmed I had made the right decision. Thankfully, I found my dream dress at a wonderful bridal boutique in Costa Mesa, where I was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine excitement. The difference in customer service was night and day. Every bride deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

The dress shop is where I bought my dress on sample sale, and they also altered it. The ladies there are so caring, kind, and real - not trying to scam you / sell you, but make sure you look great and feel comfortable. I had some bad experiences at other stores where there was fitting fees, they would say everything looked great (even though it wasn't true), but I felt here, I was really comfortable, and supported. Overall, I was so happy with the dress itself, experience with the team, and the alterations and would definitely recommend beautiful day! Thank you so much!

There are so many other wedding shops which allow the person to enter and look for gowns. Buh Bye!

I quickly found my top choice and came back a few days later to make the purchase. Sherri was very knowledgeable about every dress in her shop and supported me every step of the decision. I felt so confident saying yes to the dress here! This is a hidden gem tucked away in Sawtelle. We booked an appointment 4 or 5 days ahead of time, as there was full availability on the calendar for weekdays. There is a 48 hour cancellation window, and at hour 47 we realized that the timing conflicted slightly with a work matter (when we made the appointment we were in New York and miscalculated the time difference). An email was sent at the 47th hour (1 hour after the window), mentioning the issue and asking if it could still be canceled since it was so close to the window, and apologizing for missing the window. The owner replied and specifically said "No problem, we've gone ahead and canceled the appointment for you". At this point, we figured all was well as they made no mention of still charging the fee. A few weeks later, we noticed the charge was still there. A quick email reply came when we inquired saying it was past their window and no refund was due. IF this was the case, why did the original email not say so and why did they make 0 effort to reschedule or ask if another time worked better? OR we could have made it work if she hadn't responded so positively. What a slimy way to make a quick $27 for nothing. I will restate that the calendar was still really really open (ie, it was not a highly sough after appointment slot taken from anyone else even on the off chance they were booking in the 2-4 days out window). Overall, it is a blessing the appointment didn't happen after reading some of these reviews about how the owner acts in person (no surprise there). Ended up with a beautiful dress from Berta and would highly recommend their new LA showroom on Beverly.

I love lots of lace, flowers, low backs, and unique styles. I'd been to 2 American stores + a sample sale at an expo and hadn't found anything close to my dream dress. Those complaining about the selection here clearly misunderstood the idea behind this boutique - they can custom make ANY DRESS for around $1,600! This includes your own vision completely from scratch and exact replicas of designer gowns. It all boils down to their sewing team finding an identical fabric, then the sewing process takes around 2 months. We were shown numerous Berta lookalikes and I couldn't tell a single difference from the pics online compared to the dress in store. The gowns they do have are samples they've made for the most part. These are available for $800-1000 to rent. If you're a super picky bride, have a unique body type, and/or have liked multiple gowns but find one thing you don't like about each one, this place is for you!
