I had my first official bridal dress appointment at Luv Bridal, and it was such a wonderful experience! I was greeted right away at the front desk and immediately amazed by how stunning the shop is. I absolutely loved the layout and overall atmosphere. The only small thing I would mention is that the lighting is a little lacking. You don't really notice it until you visit another bridal shop, but it is definitely on the darker end. That being said, it's a very minor detail compared to how beautiful the space and experience are overall! My associate, Kristina, was absolutely amazing. March 2027 bride here! I visited Luv Bridal last week at the end of the day and had one of the best dress shopping experiences ever. I was paired with a bridal consultant, Daisy, who was absolutely amazing. She lightened my nerves immediately, got a feel for who I was, and what my vision was for my wedding. I told her what I assumed I wanted and she brought us gorgeous gowns based on all of the information I gave. I did wind up saying Yes to the Dress, (I know, on the first dress appointment too!), and after having just finished up a short dress try on today, I am absolutely delighted and reassured that Daisy and her expert instincts led me to the perfect dress. It has beading, lace, and a corset structure, all in one! The TLDR of my dress try-ons is that the very last dress wound up being my dress. The moment Daisy pulled it out for me to step into, I felt as if I was about to disappoint her with my inability to commit to the dresses I'd tried on so far. This last dress was actually everything I told her I wasn't looking for, so I was already prepared to either keep looking or walk away empty handed. I kid you not, the moment I tried this dress on, I couldn't look away; my smile was out of control and my double chin was out! hahaha! I was seriously stunned and mesmerized at how I suddenly felt so beautiful and truly perfect in that moment. All I know is without the help of Daisy, I wouldn't have found my dress. It was ranked near the top, and the article mentioned this is a flagship store. That gave me hope they'd have a massive selection and--more importantly--the plus-size samples I needed. As a plus-sized girly, the struggle is real. It's incredibly stressful trying on dresses that are way too small or don't offer enough "coverage for the girls" to even visualize the final look. The Logistics (What you need to know) The Vibe: It's in the LA Fashion District. It might look a little "sketch" outside, but don't let that scare you! Parking/Access: There is plenty of parking in the lot behind the store (we even saw a security guard!), and it's right off the 10 highway for an easy getaway. The Space: Modern, clean, and massive. They have hundreds of gowns and about eight fitting rooms, each with private seating for your squad. The Perks: They provide a snack tray and water for your group, plus a dedicated refreshment station if you need more. They have jewelry you can try on to get a better picture of what you and your dress can look like on the big day. (And yes, the restrooms are clean!) --- The Service I called on a Sunday during a holiday weekend and spoke with Diana, who was so kind and informative. She squeezed me in for a same-day appointment and was 100% prepared when I walked through the door. Unlike other shops I had visited, there is currently no charge to book an appointment. Every other shop I had visited charged between $25 - $75 just to try on dresses. I am actually okay with paying a small fee for someone to support me while I find my gown. My stylist, Jill, was a total pro. She looked at my inspo photos, asked about my "hard pass" criteria, and went to work. Trying on dresses with her was actually fun. The whole shop had such a joyous vibe--while I was there, three other brides said "Yes" too! I honestly wanted to apply for a job there just to be around all that love. I had a phenomenal experience and I said yes to my dress here at Luv Bridal! My stylist, Hannah, was wonderful and supportive throughout the whole appointment. This was my second shopping appointment and I was torn between 2 very different styles and couldn't pinpoint what I wanted. Hannah sat with me and asked me some questions to get to know my personal vision for my wedding and then she walked me through the racks so I could see and feel some gowns before she pulled some for me to try on. All her selections were spot on with what I was envisioning and she expertly chose gowns that would me narrow down my personal style in a wedding dress. She was very patient with me and really showed her care and passion for helping brides find their perfect dress. This was my 4th and final dress try on stop! I came last minute on a whim (confirmed a day before) and thought "why not go in for one last appointment justtttt to see some more options". After a while all dresses blend into a sea of indistinguishable white fabric. Luv bridal was such a pleasant surprise that kept surprising us. First, they give you a 90 min appointment and allow for 4 guests. Most places limit you to an hour or 4 dresses max, and 2-3 guests. We were never once rushed, everyone from the second we stepped in was so pleasant and lovely, and high energy, which was a nice surprise as it was a busy Saturday and there's a huge sale going on. Never felt chaotic or like they were dying to get rid of us! My friends and I went to Anthropologie a few weeks ago and the stylists looked so tired despite only having 2 brides trying things on at a time, and an empty relaxed showroom. I didn't mind much because working retail is so taxing and annoying, but it's such a stark contrast to our experience here. The people here are true PROS. Shoutout to Ariel and also Diana who were absolute ANGELS. Ariel is one of the kindest people I've ever met, let alone shopped with. She completely understood my vibe and ideas despite giving her contrasting adjectives like "whimsical" and "classic" and "sexy" and "elegant". She and Diana kept all of these detail in mind and pulled dresses that were so flattering, it was hard to make a decision. But a clear winner was a rare Vera Wang find that was off the rack! Shoutout to Mar who went through the weeds to make sure I left saying "yes to the dress". I wasn't sure what style would look good on me, so Mar was patient in giving me a variety of looks to try on. I was not expecting to purchase a dress since I am far out from my wedding date. However, I found a unique style I couldn't say no to. If this is your first time visiting, I recommend checking out their Instagram because they post many of their current products. You can get a quick idea of what you want to see. If you purchase a dress on your first visit, they offer a 15% concession for your "Luv at first sight". Luv Bridal caters to a range of budgets. I saw plenty of beautiful dresses under the $2000 range. They also have beautiful higher end designers like Pronovias. If you're pressed for time or have a modest budget, they have off the rack options you can inquire about. What I truly appreciate is how staff provide the highest customer service regardless of your dress price range. They really do show "Luv" for their brides. It was easy to make an appointment online. You need to submit a deposit to save your slot, and they have a reasonable cancellation policy. When I had to cancel my original appointment due to a scheduling conflict, I was given such friendly service over the phone that I decided to book another appointment a few days later. The LA showroom is spacious and has a cute lounge set up for your bridal dress entourage. They provide small refreshments to enjoy during your appointment. There was plenty of parking despite being in DTLA. However, FYI, the parking entrance is easy to miss since it is directly adjacent to the freeway exit. Overall, I'd say Luv Bridal is really good at providing your ultimate bridal experience. They had a lot of intentional details that gave the appointment a "special touch". It was easy to make an appointment online and a few days prior, they reached out via text with details about you, who you're coming with, what you're looking for, etc. which felt so personable. It is located conveniently off the 10 freeway with a large parking lot, which is such a huge plus in DTLA. The warehouse is so bright, airy, and spacious. They have 3 rows of dresses line up to browse through, which is a wide selection without being overwhelming. There's ample space between each bride and their party. With 90 minutes, I was able to try on 5 dresses. What really made the experience incredible for me was the veil, accessories, and bouquet for the full effect. Grace was my stylist and she was so amazing to work with. She really snatched me up so the dresses were fitted perfectly on me. She was also so mindful of my budget by picking out "off the rack" dresses for me that were under $1k. They also offer a "luv at first sight" discount for the non-discounted dresses too. Such a beautiful place. Came here on a Friday for a 1pm appt with Mariana. She was amazing. I came with my mom and two of my girlfriends. We were a little loud lol but a fun group. Mariana was very patient and accommodating. She didn't have an appt afterwards so we were able to stay a little longer. Madison helped me find my forever dress! Finding the location was very easy, right off the freeway. There was ample free parking on site. My group and I were greeted with snacks when we first arrived. Madison was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with helping me try on dresses. The store had a wide selection of dresses. I was able to try on different styles. I did not feel rushed with the whole process. When I finally said yes to the dress. I photo was taken and given to me with alteration guides all in a folder. The dress was a Pronovia brand and was reasonably priced for the type of dress. It took less than 2 months to ship to the store. I couldn't have asked for a better place to find a dress. Never have been married (haven't been in a bridal shop) so I wasn't sure what to expect. Walking in, needless to say I was overwhelmed lol there was SO much to look at! It was all so beautiful: the layout, the selections, the displays and the service. I came with my mom and we were treated very well: we were given water and snacks yum Kayla was my stylist and she was brilliant! With knowing me for only a few minutes, she gathered dresses I told I I liked and others she knew I would like, but didn't know it. Laylaa, who came in to assist her from time to time, was perfection! She got me snatched with those magic hands of hers. All and all, Luv Bridal along with Kayla and Laylaa gave me a wonderful first time trying on wedding dresses AND, I said yes to the dress!! I really appreciated that Luv Bridal has a lot of their dresses online, I was looking for something really sparkly, and when other boutiques didn't have their dresses online, I was scared I'd be wasting my (and my friends') time. My stylists Jill and Bianca were so sweet and helpful. Luv Bridal is the best! Cute little store right off the 10. Such a big and vast selection of dresses with a really good price range. I had been eyeing a dress from a certain designer and they had it in stock for me to try on. My stylist Kayla was the best, we connected instantly and she knew her product well. Me and my party were served drinks and some snacks! The place is very clean and beautiful and has so much room to roam around in your dress to see all angles. Everything was perfect I couldn't recommend Luv Bridal enough! They have a list of tailors who work with them which makes it easier for me once my dress comes in! I had a wonderful experience with Mariah. I was not planning on leaving with a dress because I knew I was short for time so I went into it trying on dresses the style that I liked. I originally was planning on a February wedding of next year but our venue offered us an amazing deal in April to get married in December. So I knew getting a dress was going to be a challenge. The shop emailed me and told me that dresses wouldn't be ready for my time but still encouraged me to try on styles I liked and shop off the rack. I chose this shop because it has a great variety but many of the dresses from Mila Nova are at this shop which are the ones I was interested in. Mariah was super helpful, did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. She was able to help me find a dress that fit my style and I ended up finding my dress and was able to walk out with one. I was not pressured at all. She pulled dresses within my budget and I took my time deciding and even called my sister to confirm if she liked it. She did not pressure me in any way which I was worried I would be. I had such a good experience and I cannot wait for my big day. read more
