For what I paid, they definitely overdelivered! - Caring: Abagail and her staff genuinely care about their clients. She remembered me and my friends every time we came in. I'm also a very type-A bride and Abagail noticed that immediately. She always made sure I was 100% happy before I walked out the store. This meant so much to me! - Fast: When I came to pick up my dress, my sleeves were too big and the tailor fixed it on the spot! Cons: - Staff: It's not Abagail's fault but she is under-staffed so be prepared for your appointments to start a little late. If you're a very punctual person like me, this can feel stressful but take a deep breath and just enjoy the experience because even if you start late, she will give you your full appointment time, plus more! - Bustle: Unfortunately my dress was so big and heavy that my bustle broke on my wedding day. I can't, in good conscience, recommend this place at ALL. I've been trying for WEEKS to get someone on the phone to ask ONE question. I've left multiple voicemails as well. NO CALLS BACK. Nothing. Just radio silence. In an industry where URGENCY is the utmost importance because we are working with VERY strict deadlines and need to make sure dresses are ordered to be able to show up in time for alterations for our WEDDINGS, why is simply returning a phone call to answer one question so hard??? I'll be getting my wedding dress somewhere else and if anyone asks me about wedding shop suggestions, I'll be sure to tell them to avoid this place like the plague. I'll also be in contact with my dress designer (who unfortunately is partnered with this bridal shop) and let them know how this shop is poorly reflecting on their brand. *Update* I messaged the person who responded to my review. I let them know that they won't be able to find my information in their system because I was not able to order my dress through them due to the fact they don't answer calls or return voicemails. I highly recommend Q Bridal to all future brides who are looking to be cost-effective but still enjoy the bridal experience of trying on gorgeous dresses at a beautiful boutique. Q Bridal carries Cocomelody dresses that you can peruse from the website before your appointment. My first appointment was 10 AM the day after Black Friday 2024 with my mom and sister, and we had Abigail to ourselves, so she was able to bring dresses and help us try them on. It felt fun and special. I went back a few weeks later with my bridesmaids, and there was another appointment at the same time, so we didn't get undivided attention, though it was fine as I had already ordered my dress with the Black Friday sale. This total cost came with alterations included! The original space was beautiful, clean, and bright, and the new spacing is even nicer (just across the hall). There is a large variety of dresses and dressing spaces to feel special and showcased. My one complaint would be the organization. Each time I arrived, the ladies were a little late and they didn't seem prepared for us. They always had to ask who I was, what I was there for, and go back and forth searching for my dress. I think they can improve by being there a few minutes earlier and prepared about who is coming in on according to their appointment list. My appointments were also delayed by a few weeks, so instead of seeing my dress in April as originally expected, I didn't see it for the first time until May. While it was fine since my wedding was at the end of July, I'm very timely, so I was bummed out. I scheduled a first fitting in which they took care of final alterations. In my second fitting, the zipper broke and it took a few weeks to fix, though they ended up hemming the dress a little more and made all alterations that I wanted. At the end of everything, my wedding dress is perfect: simple, beautiful, within budget, and makes me so happy. read more

I initially found QBridal because after going to a bunch of expensive dress shops in LA, I wanted to see if I could find a nice a wedding dress without paying outlandish prices. I was nervous that the quality would be worse but there was no difference in my eyes between the quality of their dresses and all the other fancy shops I had been to. But really the biggest separator was how much individual attention and care I received. Abigail took care of me through the entire process and made sure every single detail and request I had was addressed. In fact, when I showed her some images of a design I really liked that wasn't in their lineup, she went above and beyond and facilitated Puey himself designing me a custom dress as well as a bespoke suit for my husband. We ended up moving out of LA unexpectedly before our wedding which made our final fittings a bit more complicated. We flew down to LA a few weeks before the wedding to try on our fits and then again once more three days before the wedding. Because there ended up being a few alterations that needed to be adjusted, the team worked OVERNIGHT to have it done for us. If I could give Q Bridal zero stars, I would. This was the most uncomfortable and humiliating bridal shopping experience I have ever had. I came in with my family this past Monday with a clear vision of the style I wanted and showed the associate multiple examples, yet every dress they pulled for me was completely off. Instead of listening to my preferences, they became visibly frustrated and eventually told me to just look through the racks myself. The worst part? I found a dress I really liked on a mannequin, and when I asked about trying it on, the associate looked me up and down in a disgusted way and said they couldn't take it off and that it wouldn't fit me anyway. I have never felt so body-shamed and disrespected in my life. Bridal dress shopping is supposed to be an exciting and special experience, but Q Bridal made it anything but. I booked through Cocomelody and wanted to look at dresses under $1000. Turns out they had a very limited selection of Cocomelody dresses (about two-10ft racks worth). Narrowing down to just A-line style, the selection was even more limited. Also I booked my appointment with Abigail, but did not work with Abigail (it seems like all the other reviews are working with Abigail). My stylist was very nice, but I got a difference experience than the other reviewers. I showed up early, but my appointment started late. Once my appointment started, I was instructed to find the dresses I wanted to try one. I thought the stylist would recommend and point out the A-line dresses to me that fit my style profile that I filled out when I booked the appointment, but I didn't really feel helped. After my friend and I picked 3 dresses, she told me I actually could only try on 4 dresses. I tried on the first two dresses, and immediately did not like them. I had plenty of time in my appointment but was still allocated only 4 dresses. I guess that's fine because I don't know if they had more than 4 A-line Cocomelody dresses (or if they did, they didn't tell me). There are two appointments happening in parallel, and the other person was trying way more than 4 dresses and had been there way longer than an hour. Maybe she wasn't looking at budget dresses, so she was given more time and more dresses. That sort of made me feel like a second-class citizen. The stylist said there were only two veil options to try - one "long" or "short". I asked for the longer one and she gave me one that was longer than my train. And then she said there is actually a longer one, but I didn't need to see it. On the plus side, one dress was FINE and it was under my budget, so that was nice. Overall, I was very underwhelmed by the experience. It was also my first bridal appointment, and honestly, left me really unexcited to try other salons. read more
