I don't really care about price when it comes to game consoles no longer in production. Basically Nintendo, of all people were going to "repair" my new nintendo 3ds xl by replacing it with a 2ds, y'know, the one that looks like a slice of toast. They're completely different products. Basically the guy I talked with actually knew what a 3ds is, he didn't call it an retro console or ask me what it was, and he was the one who would repair my 3ds to my knowledge. The bottoms screen's a little crooked, I don't know how I'll continue living. Lol. But it's all glass lcd, and it works better than ever. Since it's glass it responds to my fingers very well, it's an altogether more sensitive screen in my opinion. All he did was go to ifixit get the right part and install it. i came in because my phone screen was cracked. Or so I thought! The gentleman that greeted me listened to my problem, looked at my phone and said I think it is just the screen saver. Went by to see if they could repair or get information off my old, really broken, cell phone( broke screen, water damage and beat up). It was a long shot. Although they could not repair my phone they were very friendly, explained the situation, what it might cost and who retrieves information from phones that are that damaged. I like them and trust them. If I have another problem with my new cell phone I will go to them first. read more

My phone insurance company was giving me the run around like always, so I made a lot of phone calls around the Lubbock area about screen replacement rates. Flex Cell Phone Repair fixed my phone screen and also gave me a tempered glass cover too! For only $49.99! I walked in and was greeted by who I think was the owner, he was very nice and fixed my screen within 20 minutes! I also got a good looking phone case for only $10! Just to top everything off he saw how upset I was that I was going to have to buy a new pop socket and proceeded to take it off my old case and put it on my new one! I am really disappointed. I had my first screen cracking problem with my sony Z3 since I've owned it (about 2-3 years), and took it here for repair. When I picked it up the first time, they said that the glass could not be placed flush with the frame because the frame was "bent", although there was no visible bend in the frame. This created a big gap between the glass and the frame, so I told them, that was not good enough, and I want my money back and they can keep the glass. But they insisted they wanted to try to make it better, and even said they already ordered a new frame to see if that would help. I really wish I kept pushing for the money back at that time....When the new frame came, I found that the side parts that cover the SIM and SD card compartment would not stay closed, and the side part that covers the charger compartment literally fell off while I was checking it in the store... I showed them all of this, but they basically said that was the best they could do, and since the glass fit on the frame better than the last time, I just decided to take it home and ordered a new bumper, hoping it would keep the glass and the cover in place. Then, of course, today, one corner of the glass hit the side of the chair and now there is a small crack in it that is growing by the second. Yes, it is my fault that I hit the chair, but the glass is very vulnerable to breaking because it is not sitting flush in the frame, and the rough edges of the glass are exposed. I even still had the protective cover on the glass, since I'm waiting for my bumper and protector to arrive...I've had this phone for long enough without ever breaking the glass until now, so it can't just be that I'm incredibly careless and rough with my phone. So, now I've wasted my money on this less than satisfying service. So disappointed. It just sucks to take the phone to get it repaired, and yes, the glass is no longer broken, but the phone was not back to the quality prior to the break, and with other problems I wasn't having before. I wish they just could have agreed to give me my money back the first time, then I could have just used that money towards buying a new phone... read more
