I went here early last week, and after a bit of a rocky start I thought I was going to have good luck and get my phone fixed, but the manager kept me waiting for a screen to come in for 3 days, and then told me he couldn't get the screen. This was also over the weekend so there was additional time that I was waiting. I finally asked him for a referral, and he referred me to a place 5 doors down from him called Fix in a zip, and they have my screen next day. Fix in a zip also looks like a professional shop, while CPR looks like a Bare Bones storefront, with a closed door backspace that doesn't breed confidence. It feels like you're walking into a funeral parlor with somebody harvesting Parts in the back. read more

My cell phone battery would no longer hold a charge and it needed to be replaced. I called CPR and Tim (tech on duty) stated that they didn't have the battery for my phone in stock but could order it for. Said it would take a few days to get it in. Asked if I could bring my own replacement battery and he said sure, no problem and would discount the installation by $10 bucks. I took my phone in with no appointment and within an hour, I was on my way, one happy customer! Eric was the tech who replaced the battery, and he did a "Great" job for me! From my experience here I get the feeling this place is on edge of failing/going out of business. Came in for battery replacement...they ruined the screen. His solution? He replaced the screen with a cheap knock-off that was obviously inferior. After expressing my anger, they ordered higher grade screen. Now I'm sitting in front of their store and they are 15 minutes late to open...and door has poorly made signs advising of hours of operation changing (no specific mention of today's lateness). A complete disaster. Took my laptop in because it won't turn on. Got a call several days later, " It won't turn on". No kidding. The next reply. " Maybe it's the battery, we'll order a new one". Waited a week, went back to the place. They forgot who I was. This time was told they hadn't received the battery yet. Waited another week. This time was told, it's not the battery, must be something inside. Another week goes by, now I'm told they can't fix it, but can retrieve the memory. That was 2 weeks ago. Enough! This is my second time here. First time i waited 30 minutes for them to open late for a 10am appointment. Today i waited 45 minutes and they still hadn't opened so i left and took my business elsewhere. My first repair was fine, but service is awful. I can accept running late from time to time by maybe 5 minutes. But this is consistent, and other guests said they had the same experience in the past. If you cant show up to open your business, I have a hard time depending on the integrity of your work either. This is my first time giving a negative review online. Usually I'd take it up with the business directly and give them a chance to correct the situation, but since they don't open their doors, kinda hard to discuss it with them directly. read more

I would never recommend this place and I hope you take take the time to read this so you don't take your devices here and end up in the same position that I'm in. I chose this place because their competitor down the street did a terrible job the first time I needed a device repaired. CPR was far more expensive in the end, but went with them in hopes of better service. I was highly disappointed with the level of service, communication, and professionalism here. I was initially quoted $200 on the phone for a broken LCD. I took the phone in and had it examined. The guy up front told me I had to get the back of the phone replaced as well. ($20 extra), then he tells me they're unable to get the parts that day so I pay the deposit and leave my phone there. I call the next evening, and the guy on the phone who is the manager had no idea that my phone was there and was unaware that I had already paid the deposit. So he says he'll place the order for my screen which should have already been done (this was around 6pm the next day). I get a call the next day that they ordered a black screen even though my phone was gold. I told them to just fix it so I could have my phone back. I go to pick my phone up and the manager says he'll give me a small discount. I pay $115 when picking my phone up. So with the deposit and second payment, I pay $275 (after the "small discount"). I activate my service on this phone again and there are red markings under the screen that you can see when the screen is white and my back button no longer works. When I picked my phone up the manage gave me the back to my phone that was previously on my phone. The only reason I had it replaced was because the first guy told me it would fall apart when being removed. Then I receive it upon pick up and the back is still intact and I have a cheap replacement on my phone that is no longer the same color as the front of the phone. read more

If I could give this place less than one star, or possibly negative stars I would do it in a heartbeat. I AM NOT LYING WHEN I SAY DO NOT TAKE YOUR ELECTRONICS HERE TO BE FIXED. I am a college student and recently purchased a Macbook pro. The LCD screen inside of my new Macbook accidentally cracked and so I took it here to be fixed. I am fully aware that after something like this happens the computer will never be the same as it is when you buy it. This place made my computer tremendously worse. As of right now my computer is currently not running anymore and the screen is halfway on. My computer would not close properly when I received it, the screen still showed massive amount of damage, and it took them over a month and a half to fix something they told me would take a week. I am very disappointed in this company. They made it appear as if they knew what they were doing but Im pretty sure I could of figured out how to replace it better myself. If you take your products here expect them to do a crappy job. read more
