He went back up there to fly his plane back to SD but weather was horrendous, zero visibility. He is two weeks away from his IR check ride so he couldn't take off. Next issue was that he goes to school in AZ and had to be back at school before conditions improved. FVF found a CFI to fly the plane back to SD later in the day for him. FVF saved the day and relieved a lot of stress! Can't thank French Valley Flyers enough for all of their help and professionalism! Good guys who run a great shop with a nice fleet. CruiseAir was incredibly accommodating, making sure I could depart from Ontario so I wouldn't miss the stunning sunrise in Havasu. Steven was my Pilot on the way there and truly went above and beyond -- he flew over the Balloon Festival before landing, giving me the most incredible aerial view of the balloons. It doesn't get any better than that. On the return flight to California, my Pilot Nate made the experience just as special by timing the trip perfectly so I could catch a breathtaking sunset. He pointed out various landmarks as we flew and looked like he was having as much fun as we were. I could not have asked for a better team to spend my wine tour with. Liz was funny, out-going, and always available to take a picture for you. We went to three wineries and each one had something special to offer. The lunch we had was exquisite. The brownie pairing with wine was amazing!!! My group had the turkey wraps, roast beef sandwiches, and the Cesar salad! Food kept us going as we sipped many great wines.
