We were greeted in the parking lot by Jim, who showed us the best place to park, walked us to the entrance and turned us over to the wonderful Lucia, who was our server for the evening. She took amazing care of us. The courses were perfectly timed, cooked, served and delicious. Tyler stopped by several times to discuss the wines and our overall experience, while Jim moved gracefully from table to table, visiting and sharing stories. Loretta's first menu was a triumph and Rachel's skill in bringing it to life is unparalleled. Between courses, wandering the farm is encouraged; go to the barnyard and visit the goats, birds and the donkey! Overall, we could not recommend it more highly!

The focaccia bread was sort of dense. The salad course was good but portioning was very small in my opinion. The first main was brisket and grits. It was average, needed salt and some veggie to cut thru super rich flavor. Second main was pasta and that was most disappointing course. Really didn't taste like much and tiny portion. Third course was the best, slightly above average. Good steak with potatoes and veggies. Decent portion and good flavors. The desert was absolutely disaster in my opinion. It was mint chocolate chip ice cream and sort of thin crispy dough covered in cinnamon sugar. First of all flavors did not match and ice cream was half melted by the time we were served. Overall food was just okay. The drinks: I got gin cocktail that was good and red glass of wine with Taylor's recommendation and I have enjoyed it both. My husband got wine pairing and that was good as well. The personal was super friendly and helpful. The ambiance was great and course meal experience was great but food disappointed.

Aghhhhh! It's a lot. I spent a lot of time just staring at the menu, trying to figure out what I wanted. I landed on the Korean Tacos, which is marinated beef bulgogi, red peppers, scallions, peanuts, wontons and gochujang sauce, all in soft flour tortillas. You get two tacos in each order. They were good but very sweet! I wasn't a fan of the flour tortilla. The people at my table ordered a couple of appetizers -- one of which I loved. The fried burrata was a big ball of cheese hanging out in a dish of vodka sauce, topped with cashew pesto, parm and served with crostini. It was lovely, and I wish I would have just ordered this and ate it all myself. We sat outside on the outdoor patio, which I would not recommend during the summer. There were so many flies! The restaurant did have some fan-things they put on the tables to shoo the flies away, but they only did so much. Next time, I think I'll just sit inside.
