My microwave oven range hood is not satisfactory and the smoke alarm goes off all the time because I cooked a lot and generated a lot of smoke. I found TX5J Handyman ("Daniel & Crew") on Yelp and contacted them. Danel came over, did a detailed FREE inspection and gave me a competitive quote in 24 hours. I then decided to hire them for the job. They came in at 7:30 A.M. in the morning to beat the summer heat. It requires piping and extension exhaust vent directly to outside top siding. It was not an easy job but they completed the job at 2:45 p.m. I am completely satisfied and happy with Daniel & His Crew. Photo is attached "Before and After". P.S.1 It's beautiful isn't it? Yes, they even did the "white box" enclosure (so you won't see the pipe) between the roof and the under cabinet that holds the HAUSLANE range hood to make it look first class+style. Thank you for your help. You people did a good job.

I got frustrated and started a project on Yelp, TX 5J handyman responded very fast to my inquiry and came on the same day to give me estimate. Then gave me a very honest diagnosis for a short term fix and long term fix. I went with the short term for now and they came back the second day to fix it now the drain doesn't leak anymore. Daniel is very fast response to my inquiry over the text; and they did a good job fixing it at a decent price. Highly recommend for others to use them.

While we were familiar with John's proficiency and expertise from the bathroom and shed jobs, the recent arbor project revealed to us new aspects of John's prowess: his creativity and versatility (the arbor being a one-of-a-kind structure made exclusively of irregular angles and based off some very-homemade reference drawings). Of course, his facility handling the arbor accounts for only one of the many reasons why my husband and I will turn to John when we start our next home construction or renovation project. He adheres to the budget he initially presented, he accords his undivided attention to the task for timely completion, and he brings to his approach experience from multiple fields within the industry. One final attribute that I appreciate is how mindful John is of the fact that he's working in your home, and how he's respectful of it.

My wife found out about J&R Construction, had a great feeling about John and booked him for the job. While an exact apples-to-apples price comparison isn't available, his quote for $800 for an extremely similar design to a $2,300 quote won out. I really like that John was punctual, friendly, good with our dog (rather than shying away from a pit bull mix), up-front with pricing and concerns, etc. I'll definitely have him on my short list of reputable contractors for future home projects. Thanks, John!

He told us he would write up a bid that night and email it to us. We had three companies bid on this job, his bid came in right at the middle but what stood out was his detailed bid that included everything we discussed. With the rain, it was a couple of weeks to get it scheduled but they arrived at 7:30 the day of and job was completed on time. He left the area cleaned up and our sidewalks look great. I would recommend Bulls Prime Concrete for their professionalism and quality work.

I called Juan to see what our options were for making it more attractive and usable. He came out the next day to have a look and recommended capping the existing concrete as the quickest and most affordable option. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but he had good suggestions for improving the look, the leveling, and drainage which was also important for us. He and his crew came out the next week and finished the job in a day. It looks great (we get compliments), it's all usable space now and it drains much better. I'd give five stars, but he left his blower at home and so left our furniture and other things covered in concrete dust from a little demo they had to do. That said, I would recommend you get a quote from Juan if you need concrete work.

For both of these projects they have been on-time, on budget and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. The whole crew takes great pride in their work and work hard to make sure that they get the details right the first time. While other general contracting companies I've worked with try to continuously upsell you, or add extra fees and upgrades that you don't want, Agustin's team is really focused on what *you* want. Out of all the quotes that I've gotten, Agustin's quotes have consistently been the most reasonable (and the most responsive). Don't waste your time looking at other companies- go with Agustin and his team and you won't regret it!

Around 9:15am, I contact Gabriel through Yelp to ensure he's still coming to take measurements. He writes that he missed a flight yesterday, will be back today at 3pm, and asks if he come by then. Two things to look for in a contractor: reliability and communication. The fact Gabriel didn't proactively inform me about this clear problem, instead letting me waste more than an hour waiting for him is a red flag and says nothing good about Cap City Contractors.
