So, we developed an informal prospectus based on this assumption. Sometime later, we happened upon a poster advertising That 1 Painter, a licensed and bonded enterprise based in the Treasure Valley. Their reviews were strongly favorable and more so noteworthy was that T1P had been voted Best of Idaho twice (among many other plaudits)! So, when we were ready we contacted them with the intention that they would provide us with our first estimate. We were visited by Ruth Brinton, a professional house painter and owner of T1P. She presented well with confidence and comprehension. She looked at many things that we would have likely overlooked. She made many observations and shared her thoughts with us. She also looked at the property and made recommendations regarding colors to not only enhance the house, but also to optimize the use of colors that would give balance and compliment to the property on the whole. The next day, we received the detailed estimate for the job. We were stunned to learn that T1P would do the job for well below our most auspicious estimates! All the information we had gathered convinced us that we did not have need to solicit another estimate. Within a month's time (from initial contact) our house was very nicely and professionally cleaned, prepped and painted. The crew performing the work were polite, friendly and professional. Clearly, the team at T1P are committed to customer service and satisfaction. We offer a solid 5-star review and our full endorsement.

Mike came out, gave a super competitive quote, and I decided to go with them. Later, I noticed a promo on their website, and they honored it, bringing the price down even further. They were flexible with scheduling and waited until our flooring project was completed before coming in for the trim and walls. We did have a minor issue with delayed communication, but it was apparently due to them transitioning to a new platform. Despite that, we got it sorted out and started the project on time. On the day of the painting, the project manager, Bette, did a walkthrough with her team before painting to ensure we were all on the same page. Once everything was confirmed, they picked up the paint (Walls: SW 7631 City Loft, Baseboards/Window Sills: SW 7006 Extra White, Ceiling: matched existing white) and got to work. The job was completed in two days (Friday/Saturday), and Mike himself came for a final walkthrough on Monday. Everything was completed to our satisfaction, and we're thrilled with the results! I'll definitely use them for future painting pojects, both for this home and others!

The cabinets and walls needed a total refresh of paint, and all that new woodwork had tons of caulking/filling/sanding/priming etc to do. Then we needed new crown molding added to our half bath, and there were several sheetrock patches plus some ceiling cracks which needed good prepping and feathering in. Also, our front and back doors needed to be repainted. So - a lot of work! And I am picky about quality. I chose Austin Professional Painting because they seemed well organized, well qualified, and ready to go at a scale of enough workers that we could get back to living in the downstairs of our house in a reasonable amount of time. Their comfort with good quality paint was also a key factor in my choice. So: the guys who came out to do the work, Carlos and Ivan - plus another couple of guys on certain days, were very nice, polite, and extremely hard working. They did a very good job and I am satisfied with the work. I would hire Austin Professional Painters again (and probably will this fall when we get around to renewing the master bath), and I definitely recommend them. Because 21st Century is so popular with local school districts and commercial clients, their summer schedule fills up fast. However, they promised they could start our project in August during the first week of school, and they delivered right on schedule. Throughout the planning phase, they were incredibly responsive to all my questions and accommodating whenever I needed to update our project scope. When work began, the execution was incredible. They initially estimated the job would take between a week and a half to two weeks. For our nearly 3,200 sq. ft. home, we stayed at a nearby Airbnb expecting a longer process, but their team was so efficient they started on Monday and wrapped up completely by Saturday! The quality of work was outstanding, and their customer service is truly top-notch. As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, I was amazed when I did my initial walkthrough. There were only a few minor spots that needed touch-ups; everything else looked flawless. The owner, Gary, and project manager, Mike, maintained excellent communication and knew the exact status of the project at all times. The crew was courteous, respectful of our belongings, and made sure the house was securely locked up every day. During the final walkthrough, Gary personally ensured I was 100% satisfied and had the team address the few touch-up spots right on the spot. He did a great job making the vision come alive and was transparent with any problems that arises (and importantly fixing them when necessary). He was friendly, fair with pricing, and also very quick-- framing and installation took only 2 separate, spread out days (to allow for drywalling and parts arrival in between). My personal experience with him in terms of communication was excellent, but I also purposefully avoided peak summer season so as not to catch him at a busy time. After receiving some ridiculous quotes from some of the "bigger" artificial turf companies, offering a lower grade of turf for a substantially higher price, I went forward with the project with Umesh and KG Lawn Care. Umesh took on my project of installing approximately 1000 sqft of artificial turf, metal edging, and black star gravel around some cypress trees. Roughly a month before starting, I expressed to Umesh my desire to have the project completed in time for our family's annual crawfish boil, which he assured me he would fulfill. I can't say enough positive things about Umesh, Lucas, and their crew. As we neared the date of my family's party, Umesh assured me that he would push to make the deadline, even with unpredictable central Texas weather. Umesh not only kept to his promise in finishing the project in time for our party, but also knocked it out of the park! The artificial turf looks incredible and instantly became my daughter's favorite place to play. Umesh and his crew put a level of detail into the project in ensuring every aspect was perfect for my family. As pleased as I am with the project itself, the most noteworthy aspect I want to highlight in this review is how Umesh does business. In a world where so many are looking to cut corners, charge more, and provide less, I found that Umesh is a man of immense integrity who keeps to his word. Umesh delivered on his promise to ensure my yard was immaculate for my family's party, but most notably, his promise on pricing. A day before our turf was set to be installed, Umesh was notified by the turf company that the turf we picked out was no longer available (with zero warning). Umesh was forced to upgrade the turf at a difference of nearly $800. I offered to split the difference with Umesh but was told: "Nah man, it's all good. I like to keep my word and pricing. It's not your fault." This really struck me that Umesh was willing to eat $800 in order to keep his word with me on pricing. I highly recommend Diaz Remodeling. While we were away on a trip, the condensation pan for our attic air conditioner overflowed and water poured thru the ceiling into our bathroom for several weeks. Our shower ceiling and walls were soaked and you guessed it- mould was building up. After tearing out the walls we were left with studs where the showers used to be. We got several quotes for the rebuild and the one from Diaz was the best, by far. He also inspired confidence in his ability to do the job. After we got insurance handled we called Uriel and his guys started within a few days. They were prompt, courteous and hard workers from about 8:30 am to 6:00 or 7:00 pm every day, six days a week. The whole job took about 2 weeks. We enlarged the 1980's single shower into a double shower, with bench, niche, grab bar and towel rack. It is gorgeous! The tile for this huge shower took the longest, but we had no complaints because the tile installer was meticulous and the finished product is flawless. We even added a glass contrast stripe during the tiling which Sabile took in stride. The cleanup crew worked almost 12 hours the last day to take care of the major dust and debris. We are extremely pleased with Diaz Remodeling and will definitely use them for our next project. (The pictures aren't in order, sadly, but you'll get the idea.) read more

Y'all. I ordered new counter tops and the package deal came with installation, but NOT removal of the old counter tops. The cost to add removal to the package was outrageous (the installation company recommended I find someone else to remove them). To complicate matters, they only gave me a few days notice for the installation date, so I had to find someone to remove them FAST. I search Yelp and started reaching out to remodeling companies. I was thrilled when Uriel actually answered the phone on the first call! I explained the situation and timing. He simply said, "Yes, we can do that." I sent him pictures of the job and he replied with an extremely reasonable quote. What a relief!! I was so encouraged when he let me know on Friday that they would be able to remove the counter tops on Saturday morning. Christian arrived right on time and was super polite and respectful. I was so impressed with the care he took to protect my floors while removing the counter tops. I was shocked at how quickly he was able to remove them and did an excellent job. Uriel stopped by to make sure everything was done correctly and that I was satisfied with their work. I was thrilled! Oh my goodness! I love Uriel and his team! Uriel is such a sweet guy, and obviously a hard worker. Uriel showed up on time, and was eager to get to work. We explained and shown him what all was needed. He called his crew in and they got to work right away. They got the job done in less than two hours. I needed a 14' x 12' concrete patio slab installed and Uriel and his crew were great. He gave me an extremely reasonable estimate and stood by his contract. He committed to a start date and his crew showed up on time, ready to work. They were very thorough in ensuring the patio was level when building the mold / forms for the concrete. When everything was finished, I was really impressed with how it turned out. The very next day, it stormed and all of the water flowed off of the patio beautifully. They main guy working on our project, Jose, was wonderful, he was very detail oriented with great communication. It is obvious that the team works hard to all stay on the same page to avoid miscommunications. They were great with making adjustments as the project required and quickly addressing any concerns we had. As they were doing the bathroom remodel and installing new exhaust systems, they noticed that our current exhaust system was dumping all the humid air from the bathroom into the attic (instead of routing it outside). We did not know this was happening. They corrected the issue for us, which we are very grateful for. They are not the cheapest but they also work to take the extra steps to ensure satisfaction in the project which goes a long way. Renovations are stressful but working with them made the entire process a lot more smooth and took away a ton of the stress.

They not only came out and gave a quote, but said they could do it that same day! Way sooner than other places that gave quotes but wouldn't be available for a week or so. Some places wouldn't even do a job unless it was $2000 or more to make it worth their time, which my job was in the low $100s at best. They listened to my concern about another board that looked to have a portion rotted and they were able to include replacing the rotted part and not create additional seams between the boards--something I hadn't thought possible! Highlights are: good communication, great workmanship, timely service, friendly service. I definitely recommend this business!

I hired Eliab of The Good Tile to remove our 90s bleh kitchen floor tile, remove our backsplash…read moretile, and install over 300 square feet of new flooring tile plus new backsplash, and extensive accent wall tiling in the backsplash tile. My new floor tile has a pattern, and the backsplash tiles were 2.4" x 8" ceramic hand glaze ceramic tiles, and so neither would be easy to install unless the tile installer was very skilled. I thought the review photos on Yelp showed Eliab already has an extensive body of work done well, and I loved that he specializes in tile so I knew that he should be very competent at it. And he and his guys Salvi and Rafael were excellent! They worked hard and did very precise work. That was a ton of cuts and joints to line up perfectly with all that subway tile, and it looks wonderful. The cuts around light switches and power receptacles: also precise. He was as good as his word about showing up, doing it right, and cleaning up as they went. He earned my trust, was good to work with, and I would happily hire him again. I definitely recommend! I will post pictures for now as is - but keep in mind the construction is still going on so they will not look as great as they should. I'll try to remember to update our photos when the remodel is truly done.
