Melissa, her husband, and their dog Chief are so warm and welcoming. The panoramic oceanfront views are stunning. The workspace is spacious enough to comfortably host large groups. We had 45 attendees. There are also smaller office spaces available for breakout sessions or more intimate meetings. The kitchen setup, complete with a full-sized fridge, was incredibly convenient for our needs. Melissa is a master of her craft. With her event planning background, she brings professionalism, intuition, and exceptional service to everything she does. She was so accommodating throughout our event. Originally, I planned to pick up my balloons the day before my party. Philip suggested that I instead pick them up the morning of my event at 10:00 a.m. on the way to the venue, so I trusted his recommendation. Unfortunately, my husband arrived at the scheduled pickup time, and no one was there. We received absolutely no communication until I was already at my venue, wondering what was going on. It took over an hour before I was finally informed there had been car issues. I completely understand that unexpected emergencies happen. What I cannot understand is why there wasn't a simple text or phone call as soon as it became clear there was a problem. Had we known, we could have arranged delivery or made other plans instead of being left waiting with no information. Better yet, if the issue was transportation, I would have expected every reasonable effort to be made to honor scheduled pickups, even if that meant taking an Uber to the storefront. When you own a business, unexpected problems are inevitable. How you communicate and solve them is what defines your customer service. Because of the lack of communication, my husband was delayed getting to the party while waiting for the balloons, which added unnecessary stress on what should have been a fun and memorable day. :( If reliability and timing are important for your event, this is something to consider. In hindsight, purchasing helium balloons from a grocery store like Safeway (which my friend ended up doing for me!!), where they're available immediately, would have been far less stressful than relying on a scheduled pickup with no communication. Not sure what's her name, but she was an older Caucasian lady. They were there for about 3 hours or so and never once did I see a line to get a balloon. Probably because 1 of many reasons.... 1. I witnessed one of my nephews trying to get a balloon and he had to explain to the lady why he was getting another one. **he should not have to explain to the lady why he needs another balloon. The balloons are unlimited for 3 hours! There wasn't a line. The lady was just sitting there. 2. My friend told me that she had to help my other 5 year old nephew get a balloon because the balloon twister refused to help him since she was unable to make the balloon he wanted. She just so happened to be next to the vendor and heard her tell him to "go get your mommy". Instead of showing him the balloon folder of what she could make, she just refused to make him a balloon. My friend went over to help him pick one from the folder of pictures . **I don't understand why she couldn't just show him the balloon folder to begin with... maybe she just didn't want to deal with him. AGAIN, there was no line. ** 3. My daughter has a whole lot to say about the balloon lady. She kept saying how rude she was... In all honesty, I wasn't going to write a review about the rude balloon twister, but my daughter randomly brought it up again after 1 month. They arrived early to set up and immediately went to work and were cranking out balloons and face paints non stop for 2 hours and the kids kept getting back in line giving them no time to rest.
