I've been coming here for years and have generally had really positive experiences, which is why this review is a little disappointing to write. At my most recent appointment, I was unfortunately about 20 minutes late. I did call ahead to let them know, and I completely understand that being late impacts scheduling. I take full responsibility for that and truly respect everyone's time. That said, when I arrived, I felt that my wax specialist's demeanor was noticeably rushed and cold compared to my past visits. She let me know she wouldn't be able to complete all of the services due to my lateness, which I understood. I was then passed to another specialist who ended up being great and very kind. What stood out to me was the difference in energy...during my service things felt tense and short, yet I could hear her being very giddy and talkative with her next client. It just made me feel a bit uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially since I already felt bad about being late. I've had many good experiences here over the years, so this was just an unfortunate first negative one. I believe in accountability, but I also value professionalism and kindness, even when things don't go perfectly. I hope this was just an off day. read more

Shanda is my go-to eyebrow gal!!! She is so cool!!! I come to her for my eyebrow slit. I literally only trust her. She's quick, meticulous, and knows exactly what I want. When I first came to her inquiring about an eyebrow slit, she walked me through where she thought the best placement would be, advising me not to do it at the end where the hair was the weakest. She taught me how to style it after as well! Appointments are easy to book, the salon itself is cute, clean, and comfy. My first appointment with the owner was fantastic. Great brows and a pleasant experience. The second time with her was rushed and the results not as good. Gave it two more tries, with another senior tech and it went further downhill both times. This last time, the table cover was sticky with someone else's wax and the pillow had someone else's hair. I made an appointment at 3:30 for a 4pm session. I ended waiting over 20 minutes outside in the 94 degree heat. Nobody would answer the phone, nobody heard me on the ring camera, and nobody heard the door bell either. I waited until finally somebody walked out to get me but it was just a horrible experience already. After explaining everything to the lady she looked at me like I was crazy and didn't even offer any water or an apology. She then proceeds to fix up the room and asked me if I was ready? Lol. Upon completion, she didn't show me any of her work or ask for any input. I asked her to fix an area and she did with a sigh. Sad experience and hope they manage to get it together. Yeesh! read more

I had never been waxed before coming to see Sandi seven months ago, and was definitely nervous, but my fears were totally unfounded! She always makes me so comfortable and does an incredible (and speedy) job with my Brazilian. Recently, I had a visit, and I got my eyebrows laminated and tinted and supposedly waxed. I usually go to KD Brows in Studio City, but because this place is in Burbank, I wanted to try them Since they are a bit closer. I got Shanda. First of all, I noticed she was rushing through the whole process, and she did not take her time total of maybe 20 mins maybe 30 . Once I got home, I noticed I had patches of hair that she plucked out missing between my brows. The tint was all over my forehead eyebrows were not waxed . The lamination didn't work, so I am unsure what she did. My eyebrows came out blotchy, with some parts tinted and others no tint. I will not be returning.Do not come to this salon unless you want brows that look terrible. read more

Super friendly all around! From entering the salon, I was greeted and welcomed by the receptionist. I had my eyebrow appointment with Sandi. She was very professional and listened to what I wanted done. She didn't take too much off and was a perfectionist! Took a look at every angle of my eyebrows, switched from regular wax to the sensitive wax when I turned red, and made me sit up to check my eyebrows were even. First I want to say I was able to get an appointment when I needed it. The office is clean and cute. It had been a while since I've had a Brazilian and usually go to a different spot (they weren't available) The woman that did my wax was kinda friendly , seemed a little annoyed. Not a big deal until she scolded me for yelling/laughing when she hit that sensitive area. The wax was way hotter then it should be and some patience would be nice. I didn't scream?? The BIG problem was when I got home and my BF had to spend 15 minutes removing pieces of wax she left behind? Wth? I wasn't squirming, I've done this before. I have referred a lot of my friends here and they've all been happy with the customer service as well as the services they've gotten. Location is super convenient and parking has never been a problem. I have enjoyed coming here and supporting this business for many years. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! I have been loyal to Stark Waxing Studio in Studio City, however, the lady I go to is hardly there on the days when I need her to get a wax. One of my best friends recommended Flirt Salon to me and I must say, I think I have found a new home for my waxing. Although it is a little more of a drive for me since I am in the Studio City area, it is totally worth it to make the trip to Burbank. My appointment was set with the owner of Flirt, Sandi. I adore her. She was amazing, my eyebrows looked fierce, and they were done fast! They also offer wine when you come in which is a major WIN! The prices are great and they even send you little reminders of when it's time for your next wax! Street parking is pretty open in the front so I had no problems there. I am definitely going back! So I booked an appointment because I saw all the AMAZING reviews and I figured all these people cannot be in on this, it's got to be real. I booked an appointment for a full leg and Brazilian wax... my first one EVER. I was completely mortified walking in with my Chewbacca legs, but Meredith didn't even make me feel an ounce of insecurity. She was so kind and HILARIOUS! She talked me through the whole process and gave me a heads up on spots that would hurt, but to be honest it wasn't too bad. Overall pain I thought it was gonna be a 1000/10, but honestly it was like a 3/10 and your girl is a Weenie Hut Jr. I'm so grateful I found this place, but overall Meredith who is just a great soul! I want to thank her for leaving my legs and lady v beautiful. Also thank you for your patience and guidance! 10/10 recommend :) That was a review for my first visit on their website, but I've been back since. IM STILL IN LOVE. My second time coming the pain was almost non-existent!! (Almost). I got the same services and Meredith was honest and told me I only needed to do a half leg and didn't even try to upsell me or anything. I definitely will continue to come. Prices are worth it. I was really reluctant to try this. But I had met Julie, the waxer, and she convinced me that waxing my back would not really hurt like I thought, and I would feel clean and smooth. After some wine, I agreed. She was right, and I was shocked by how well she treated me, and how good I felt being so well groomed. First time I wasn't embarrassed to take my shirt off in a while. I was also surprised by how slowly the hair grew back. I have shaved my back before, and it was stubble in a few days. A month from my first appointment, I went back to Julie today for a tune up. I visited Flirt Salon during an impromptu trip to LA and I was so impressed. First, I requested my apt just a few hours before they opened and Meredith was able to accommodate me same day (rare). Most importantly my service was pretty painless in comparison to many other waxes I've endured. Meredith was funny and made me incredible comfortable. The prices are fair, the salon is on top top shape, new clients get 10% off (and wine!) and you'll be supporting a woman owned business. So pleased to be back! I had been going a while ago and had to stop (stupid COVID)! I had been with Michelle, but she's no longer there. Instead I had Veva who is amazing! She regaled me with her fun Hollywood stores and didn't judge me too much for taking 2 years off from facials. Plus she helped me figure out how to deal with my dark circles. Kimberly, the salon manager, also helped my find some skin care that wouldn't cause milia (the little white bumps). All in all it was great. Glad they survived the Covid crazy. I almost didn't write a review about this place because technically I did not receive a service, however I was treated so well while I was here I thought it was definitely worth mentioning. I wanted to get a bikini wax for my 34th birthday celebration in Vegas. I was able to easily make an appointment for this online. When I showed up, I arrived a little bit late and they were super sweet about it. Street parking is available on the main street. As soon as you enter you get a very strong smell as they have a lot of string scents circling about so be prepared for that. I also caught a glimpse of a box of wine which was available for customers which I thought was hilarious since I haven't seen one of those college. I was warmly greeted by Michelle. She apologized and said that she couldn't do the service because it wasn't long enough, I had shaved recently and she didn't want to put me in a dangerous position, she recommended I shave before my trip and gave me lotion that they have that prevents ingrown hairs. She gave me a sample of it. I felt bad because I didn't pay or tip anything, but I can't wait to return under better circumstances. So-to have this many reviews and have a five star rating is pretty unheard of, had to check it out for myself. Major pro: making an appointment online. I only do salons that have this feature cause my schedule changes so much and I need to be able to re-schedule. I booked a Brazilian and an eyebrow wax with Michelle. I was lucky to find a parking spot in the back right behind their space, but street parking in front isn't an issue. She took me on time, introduced herself, and we tackled my brows first. I've been having an issue with my brows being uneven and I've been too afraid to let anyone touch them, but it was time. She did great cleaning up and shaping and evening them out without sacrificing too much of the thickness of my brows. I got a little sensitive spot under my brow that she was super concerned about (which I loved her for) and gave me some moisturizer to keep the area hydrated. Brazilian-blown away! She was not only quick and the whole thing was pretty painless, but damn is she thorough!!! My self inspection in the bathroom left me super impressed haha. She uses both strip wax and hard wax, and it was over in 15 minutes. Highly recommend-she'll probably be my go to from now on :) read more

Today was my first visit to Flirt Salon. I had a brow wax with Veva. I've never really known what to do with my brows except to tweeze the heck out of them. I finally let them go enough for a wax and chose Flirt Salon due to their reviews. It is a lovely space, very clean. Veva is a gem. She did my wax and then showed me how to fill them in. I've been coming to Flirt for a few years now. All the girls are great at what they do. You always feel at home here. Their prices are fair. They always have availability to get you in on fairly short notice. The best part is that I'm in sales and my day is kind of chaotic. So when I want to book an appointment I can just pop open their booking app and get an appointment for my ride home. Makes it so easy while on the run. Michelle is my girl here, but I've had the Owner Sandi as well. I get all my waxing done here. I'm a guy and you won't feel uncomfortable like at some lower end places when you're a dude walking in. I just received my FIRST Brazilian wax today from Sonia and it was a great experience! I had never gotten anything waxed before - not my eyebrows, legs, etc., and I figured I'd get the worst of it out of the way so everything else afterwards was cake. I also just needed a wax down there since its swimsuit season. I was really nervous and didn't know what to expect for my first wax, so I did my research before settling on Flirt Salon. First things first, one of the previous reviewers mentioned having issues with their appointment confirmation. I totally get it, but thankfully I didn't have that problem. I also haven't scheduled my second appointment, so we'll see if I get follow ups for an appointment I never made. Otherwise, I was seen right away by my aesthetician Sonia. The receptionist was friendly, and Sonia was very professional and personable. The whole session took 15 minutes tops! She was very informative about what we were doing and what to expect. Since Brazilians are supposed to be for for somewhat seasoned customers or those with a high pain tolerance, I was a bit nervous. Sonia made sure to let me know what my option were in case I wanted to do a bikini instead, but I insisted on the Brazilian. I should note that I DO have a high pain tolerance, so the whole ordeal was mostly painless. Some of the pulls did have a sting but if it stung, it only lasted five seconds. Sonia would let me know when to breathe and even asked if she should let me know before pulling or just doing it. I told her to just do it but she still told me beforehand if it would be a bit more intense, which I appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend Flirt Salon! Sonia was amazing and I will definitely be coming back. If you're a first time customer, utilize the 10% off new clients and be sure to tip your aesthetician! read more
