I finally got my first service since lock down. Let me tell you, originally I had booked at my home EWC but they claimed their computer system screwed up, personally I think they did. Regardless Studio City made my day and had their stuff together. Staff was extremely friendly, only thing was the girl ask desk didn't take my temperature. Not sure if it was because they were really busy. Anyway my esthetician was amazing. I will have to find out her name so I can post later. I got underarms, nose and my long awaited Brazilian. I walked out feeling like a woman. I even bought some products to go, only because it had been a while and I also want to make sure to maintain my areas clean before next appointment. For the nose wax you are required to take your mask off, but if you're not getting face services keep it on. read more

I usually really like this location. Started going during quarantine. All the locations I've been to said there is usually a 15min grace period. I called to give this location a heads up they I was gonna be 10 min late because I needed help getting my wheelchair in the car and the lady said that they have a 9 minute grace period and they couldn't see me. Like what?? A NINE MINUTE GRACE PERIOD WTF? They couldn't even work with me. Who has a 9 minute grace period. Just be aware of that if you want to go to this location. The other issue I had was I bought a package from them & they didn't have it on file anywhere so I had to go find my receipt etc point of this story is make sure they put you down for what you pay for. I called to see if they had any availabilities today because there were no spots available when I tried to book online. I called and lo and behold, they had a spot available for me. I got scheduled with Morgan. I was so happy that the stars were aligned and I got her as a waxer because of the great reviews she received. She did not disappoint at all. She was warm and kind. I enjoyed my experience at European Wax Center but I can only give it 4 stars due to the results. The customer service is great and the facilities are very clean and presentable. I also loved how your first wax is free, but I had to take off a star for a few reasons: PARKING: Very limited street parking is available. WAXING EXPERIENCE: It's been 3 weeks since I visited but my hair started growing back 2 weeks after I came in for my wax, which was really surprising for me (I usually only have to go once a month for hair removal). The woman who did my wax was very friendly and even funny, but I kept having to instruct her on a few stray hairs that needed to be removed. In the end, I got a little frustrated that she didn't clean up my eyebrows better. My main complaint is how quickly my hair grew back after the waxing session. In the past, I've done threading and this was my first time switching back to waxing. Threading lasts me a whole month and I'm ultimately paying the same price that this place charges, except I'm not experiencing rapid hair growth. I think I will simply stick to threading because of the lasting results. I would not be able to afford coming here every 2-3 weeks. read more
