FloForm took care of our quartz countertop through Lowes. They measured, templated and ended up putting in a countertop that had a 6 inch overhang at the end. I came home and contacted Lowes immediately attaching a picture. Lowes reached out to FloForm and asked them to pay for the cabinet filler piece for the overhang, they refused to pay and told Lowe's it was our mistake. We're not the ones who measured the counters. This was the icing on the cake, my husband told me he had already asked the heavy set installer to quit ramming the countertops with his weight, and later we found they didn't calk all the way around. read more

I got quartz countertops installed three times through this company (actually subcontracted through Kitchens and More NW) and the quality of their workers and work has really deteriorated over the last 8 years. This time around, the first guy they sent out to take measurements (who reminded me strongly of Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top) tried to BS his way through explaining some weird pattern that had appeared on a corner of my kitchen counter in the quartz countertop they had installed, instead of just telling me that he didn't know what the heck it was. He first tried to insist that it was my fault for putting hot stuff on the counter (which I have NEVER done and didn't make sense anyway since the strange marks appear on the 4-6 inches of the corner of the counter), then that it was simply scratched (which again might make sense if it were in a work area instead of on 4-6 inches of the corner of the counter - or if it indeed looked like scratch marks, which it doesn't) and when those ideas didn't fly, he tried to tell me that it was just part of the pattern (which is just nuts). I gave up talking to that guy - waste of time. He knew nothing and cared less. The workers who came out to do the install did NOT have booties and couldn't take their shoes off and their solution was to throw a few filthy looking tarps down on our new carpets. When they were "finished" with their installation and about to leave, I noticed that they had left smears of calk on the newly installed vanity and had to have them clean up their mess before they went. If I hadn't fussed, the smears would still be there because - well, not their problem, I assume. I wouldn't recommend Flo Form if they paid me to do so. read more

We will admit having some trepidation in reading other low-star reviews, but our experience with Floform was nothing but professional and delightful. Caleb and Floform team were effective in communications, professional in all steps of the process, and beyond courteous throughout the design and install process. We could not be more pleased with the finished result. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - they do not care about their employee or customers health and safety. They messed up my sink cut out measurements - instead of removing the countertop to fix the measurements they SANDED it down in my kitchen. My house is now COVERED in quartz dusts, which is hazardous. The worker they sent had no PPE or containment equipment, he didn't even know quartz dust is dangerous. Floform either doesn't know what their doing or they simply do not care about their employees/customers health and safety. I have been trying to contact them about cleaning up the hazardous mess they left and cannot get a response from them. read more

My counter tops were 2" short, one plug cover smashed, dishwasher not bolted in, a gouge in the wall ("collateral damage"), two plugs left hanging out of their sockets, because they didn't bring the screws. I ran all this by Mike several times, and got a brush-off. I would not do business with them again, or recommend them. read more

I went with FloForm for new kitchen countertops and sink because they were a Costco partner. While I am satisfied with the countertops, the service was absolutely terrible. On the day the work was to be performed, it became clear there was a scheduling problem by noon when the crew hadn't yet even arrived. Yet, the person in charge of scheduling would not reschedule the work and insisted that the crew would "be there shortly." The crew didn't arrive until 4 p.m., and they didn't finish until 10 p.m. -- no joke. And, when they left, I had no water in the kitchen because the plumbing work wasn't done and the stove was in my living room. A plumber did come the next day, but I didn't get the stove operating for FIVE days. My requests for service were ignored -- I never got any response. I finally had to call on the appliance store to get the stove properly reconnected. Thank goodness it was under warranty and Standard Appliance came to the rescue. BUYER BEWARE WHEN DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. read more

Two of the Beaverton, Oregon employees I spoke with on the phone were polite. But the third one was this guy who said he was the project manager for my job. He was flat-out rude and disrespectful. He offered no detailed answers to my questions, just a short yes or no. I thought he was upset with me for calling and asking questions about my project. I was just trying to educate myself and learn how they were going to do the job. I hung up the phone extremely upset with this guy. Then I went to their website to see what Floform had to say about their customer service. It says, "To treat all Customers with respect, in an open and honest fashion.." Well, that's not what I received. Therefore, I suggest perspective customers try a different company for their countertop project. read more

This is a challenging review to write. We loved the Cambria product, and the idea of going through Costco seemed to be a good route as a middleman. When Spencer came out to do our quote it was higher than others we had received but we were ok with it assuming we would receive a premium experience and have a product we loved. Well, we paid a premium price, got a premium product from Cambria but missed out on the premium service. I'll keep this brief but our big issue is our sink appears crooked because the squared up the countertop to our cabinet and the wall isn't perfectly straight. Obviously not something we knew, and not something we expected. When they completed the templating and designed one side of the countertop longer than the other I would have expected the opportunity to have a conversation about whether we square it to the wall, or the cabinet. However, I suspect FloForm was more concerned with getting the job done and locked in that they didn't say anything, installed the countertop and hoped we wouldn't notice. Unfortunately it was the first, and now only, thing we see. Additionally, Spencer gave us our original quote in home and was great to work with. We had a misunderstanding about an aspect of the job that I think was mostly our fault. However, when my wife brought it up she felt completely disrespected by Spencer in the conversation. It was so bad she didn't feel comfortable speaking to him or anyone from FloForm anymore. I'm giving them 2 stars because Cambria is great and the installers were definitely great. However, this was a hugely disappointing experience in terms of FloForm's communication and willingness to help once variances were discovered (that they knew about well ahead of time). read more

If I could give this company zero stars I would. After purchasing a quartz countertop from this company I was told that it was going to take 6 weeks to get, it took 10. I had a flood in my kitchen 5 months later and that is when the real hell began. After working with my insurance company to put my kitchen back together I was set back time after time with the countertop removal so I could get the damaged cabinets out and then the installation took 3 tries until I finally wrangled out what was needed to be done by a very incompetent project coordinator in order to complete the process. To date I have paid this company an additional $1400 to remove and reinstall my countertops (which they required before they would start the job) and I am still waiting. The project coordinator keeps giving me excuses as to why things are not getting done and that it is my fault her subcontractors can't complete the task because I should have known better (if I only had Jedi powers to read minds, I might had know what she was talking about ever time the job could not be done.) Going to the Floform website yields a customer service number that is no longer in service, a company hierarchy that does not give out last names of the company directors and no corporate headquarters address or phone number, only site locations. The sales people are so nice and pleasant until they get your money, then they ghost you. The people actually doing to the work will tell you if it is not on their work order they can't do anything about what is not paperwork and I need to call the office. Excuses, excuses, excuses is all I get from this company location. I will never use this company ever again, even if I Iove Cambria designs! read more

The installers came yesterday with 4 pcs for my small kitchen, and not at all as promised, so I had them leave without installing it. Jeanine (the Portland OR area Costco rep) , had said there might be one corner seam, and it would be their special "European..." slope cut, which she had a sample of - and was near seamless tongue and groove like. The template guy came out a week before and said it should get done without any seam, but might have one corner seam at the most. Instead a get 4 pieces from Floform, with straight lines on both sides of the range (covered with blue tape in the picture), with a straight edge 90deg cut from front to back. Not a diagonal from the corner, and not the self supporting seamless cut that was displayed by Jeanine. If that isn't enough, that small piece on the right is the wrong dimensions on both the length and width. The surfaces of the adjoining pieces are also at different levels. I can see them gluing these together, and besides looking unprofessional, coming apart with some stress applied to the small piece. Alicia, the representative from Floform (Portland OR area supplier for Costco), is completely unwilling to help. Jeanine (Costco's rep) only solution is to just let them install it! She has completely backtracked on her previous statements concerning the corner seam using the special cut, and is offering no help. According to Floform and Jeanine, I got the square feet of quartz that I paid for. Following along that line, I guess it wouldn't make any difference if the gave it to me in 8 pieces! I will be contacting Costco corporate to see if they can help resolve this. It is marketed to be top notch quality product, both parts and installation. I spent over $8000 for the counter tops, sink, and backsplash - with the promise professional results and Costco standing behind the work. I haven't seen any of that from Floform, or the Costco representative. BEWARE!!! Their latest email says I will incur additional charges due to holding up the installation! They had their plumber come out today for the sink/disposal, even though they knew the counter and sink had not been installed. These people are not reputable... read more

Others may have had a good experience with this company, but ours has been the worst. We went to their showroom a few days ago to look at the Cambria product. The floor person was very helpful and gave us all the samples we needed. They will not give you a preliminary quote on the spot. Instead they send a "consultant" out to give you a free in-home consultation and price. It took them several days to contact us. We were finally contacted and arrangements were made for "Spencer" to come toour home on 6/21/16 at 10:00 am. The time passed and no Spencer. We gave them until about 12:30 pm and with zero contact from them. We decided to call. We were told by the lady that attended our call that she would call him. Several minutes later the call was cut. We called again and she said that she had attempted to call Spencer and he would call us back. It is now nalmost 4:00 pm and not a word from FloForm. What kind of customer service is that? Our project was only for two tops for bathroom vanities, so perhaps the size of our project was not worth their effort? At this point who know and we no longer care. If a company performs this poorly at the initial stages, what will happen if we were to purchase from them? We've received better customer service from Home Depot and other companies. Although we like the Cambria product, there are other options out there which we will pursue. Shame on you FlorForm for such appalling customer service. I assumed that since I went through Costco to get new countertops this would be a great experience. It was just the opposite. The sales representative told me that my bathroom cabinets were not worthy of new countertops. We decided to just have the kitchen countertop replaced and go elsewhere for the bathrooms. Then they would schedule installation only to cancel the afternoon of install because they didn't have the product. This happened twice and both times we had moved our appliances. The job ended up taking 2 months longer than promised. I was told by the last installer that they had lost employees. I did reach out to Costco and they followed up but was disappointed in the interest they showed. I would not recommend this company to anyone! It was a nightmare! read more

I absolutely love my new bathroom countertop! My husband and I had our master bathroom painted and we just had to get rid of the old wallpaper. Once we had done that, we realized that we needed to update the countertop to really bring our bathroom into the 21st century. We went to FloForm Countertops where Sarah Mendoza walked us through our choices for a new bathroom countertop. Sarah listened to what we were looking for and how much we were interested in spending and took us directly to the product that fit our needs. Since we had just had the room painted, we explained what the room looked like and Sarah showed us several different color options that would coordinate well with our colors. We chose a Corian countertop in a dark gray color (with flecks of blue and beige) and followed Sarah's suggestion that we have a cameo white sink bowl to go with it. We placed the order and waited in anticipation to get our new countertop. Once it was in, we scheduled the install. The installers showed up on time and were very professional and courteous during the time they were in our home. They were very careful to put drop cloths down to protect our carpet and flooring and they went about the install efficiently and professionally. We had such a great experience with Sarah and FloForm that we are definitely going to go back to her when we start shopping for a new kitchen countertop. Countertop installation was last week. Have a long ragged edge showing where the quartz meets my cooktop. Cooktop appears to move. When I contacted Dabrien he told me that they could have someone "look at it" in 2 weeks when the backspash is scheduled to be installed!!! Beware! Worst experience and even worse customer service. We ordered our counter tops back in July. It is now Oct. 23rd and finally today it is done (well that is if the caulking actually does turn clear when dry).. The first time they came out to install there were a few pieces cut wrong. One they were able to recut to fit on the spot. The other two had to be reordered. 2 weeks later and guess what? Cut wrong again. Again, 2 1/2 weeks later they are finally out today to hopefully finish this job. Each time I speak to the project manager all I get is, I am sorry we will order again. I wind up having to call and see where we are at with getting this done. I have emailed the sales rep but once she received her commission she doesn't care. No word back. Never have I had them ask what they could do to make this right. You pay them up front and they don't care because they have your money. I am just at the mercy of waiting and being disappointed. NO STAR FOR THEM! I bought it very expensive countertop from them and they didn't bother to do caulking on the countertop/backsplash gap for me. They are really CHEAP themselves. I was never told that they wouldn't apply to caulk on it. Now I ended up having mold under the sink and drawers next to it. They did really an awful job on my sink, which it was sloppy job caulking around the kitchen sink. It also developed mold, too. Thanks to them! What they just told me in the email: Note: FLOFORM does not apply caulk in areas where countertops or splashes meet walls or tiles, therefore settling of caulk in these areas is specifically not covered. My husband and myself just decided on a new countertop for our kitchen, two bathrooms and laundry room, with the help from Noel. This wasn't an easy task for us, but Noel was patient and came back twice to make sure we were ecstatic about our choices. She also helped us decide on new sinks and faucets, along with backsplashes. FloForm handled the install of our countertops purchased through Lowes. Their customer service has been horrible and I would encourage everyone to find someone else, even if that means avoiding Lowes. They've missed the install date twice now, the first time it was because they forgot to send the sink but didn't tell me until the morning of the install date (so I had removed the countertops, sink, dishwasher... all the week of Thanksgiving when we were supposed to have family visit from out of town). I had to cut and place plywood on the cabinets so I could re-install the sink and make the kitchen usable again. They rescheduled 2 weeks later, and of course, they call at the end of the install window to let me know they can't come again. I understand that things happen, but both times they confirmed the install and didn't let me know until way too late, after I had demo'd the kitchen. Now I have to re-install the sink and plywood and wait for another install window that will most likely be missed again. read more

We had Floform install countertops through Costco. We started the process in April 2021. We were patient due to to circumstances of the pandemic, however it did take until July 26, 2021 to start the process. It was suppose to be a 2-3 day process. It wasn't completed until a month later and during that time there were multiple problems to included a horrific demo day that left holes in our drywall and base of our cabinets, as well as damage to cabinet drawers. We are now looking to hire someone to help repair the damage they caused; there was no offer to pay for repairs. The communication was poor - to include them sending out two plumbers at the same time mistakenly, crews coming out without needed parts... and poor quality of workmanship to include one of the quartz pieces being installed poorly and needing to be re-made and plumbing job not completed. I highly advise not using this company. We were so excited at the thought of new counters and now regret the entire process. It was stressful and now has left us with damaged cabinetry. read more

I recently had a countertop installed, and the installers left a big ding in my brand new cabinet drawer. Floform refused to pay for the damage and said I would have to prove that they did it. What am I supposed to do....film the installation? Since the bathroom was not finished, nobody was even in there except for Floform. They were unpleasant to deal with, unapologetic, and completely non customer service oriented. Go elsewhere for your countertops! So, what is worse? I would not recommend Flo Form. We had new counters installed and needed to redo the back splash. The whole process has been difficult. After weeks of waiting, the tiling people came in but couldn't do the job. The mosaic tile was missing. Why? The person who was supposed to tile left. Also, the counters were installed but there was a space between the wall & counter. Why didn't Flo Form install these to fit the wall? Now, we've been told we will be charged more to close this gap. I feel completely taken advantage of and I'm at a breakdown point! I read everything, all the paperwork & emails. Perhaps I should have gone in and read through everything to make sure there were no mistakes. But I tried! I am baffled at how businesses like this can run and still be solvent. We hired Floform to install Cambria countertops, backsplash, new kitchen sink and faucet and bathroom sinks. This has been a horrible experience. Floform subcontracts out every facet of the job except for the countertops. Modern Plumbing was the only subcontractor that we didn't have a problem with. The countertops are beautiful. However, the backsplash is a disaster. The person that initially installed it had 1 year of experience installing tile and it showed. They have had to redo almost the whole backsplash. I requested leadership to come out and look at the train wreck of a backsplash but to no avail. Portland Installations removed the cooktop and now the downdraft fan won't go down. I've been told that they don't cover this. So now, I'm stuck with a minimum of $750 to fix the downdraft and it might not be repairable. This project was supposed to be completed in 4 days. We are now 6 weeks in and I'm not satisfied. Don't let Costco's endorsement as a guarantee of good work. Do NOT use Floform. read more

Recently we decided to update our kitchen. New countertops were a must. The old formica was tired and ugly. Being new to Portland we did not know where to turn and there are so many choices. My painting contractor suggested we call Sarah Mendoza of Floform. My carpenter suggested Brand X. So, I called them both and asked for bids. The difference in their service was night and day. Sarah called me right back and even with her busy schedule made time to see me in 24 hours. Then, much to my surprise she got a bid back to me just a few hours after her visit. It was (unlike the other one I got) very complete down to the last detail and slightly less $ than I had expected. The Floform installation crews are professional and prompt and careful with your surroundings (installation damage can be a nightmare). Start to finish true professionals. I would strongly recommend to not even think of Floform when you have to replace countertops. The cuartz countertops look good but will how long they will last, they said life long and they will replace if needed. The backsplash was not put in properly and they needed to come back and fix it, does not look very good. Our old countertops have been attached to the cabinets in a different way; so now there is about an inch of color difference quite visible at the top where each cabinet meets the new countertops. I would have thought that the lady who came to take the job would have explained that before we agreed to proceed, but no way. She was too eager to get the job and I don't think she cared of much else. When the old backsplash was removed they made holes in the wall in several places but did not offer to fill them and just shrug the shoulders when we told them that is inadmissible. Then I strongly suggest that anyone who hires this company to keep their valuable hidden really well. One or more of their workers served themselves with my gold jewelry, the nicest and most expensive pieces. Of course I called them and asked about these practices but all that I received was that they screen their workers. The police is not interested in going after them more than making a report because is private property. I am sure that sooner or later they will be caught but that is little comfort to me. So to summarize I think I would have better went to Home Depot or Lowes for this job. Definitely the absolute WORST experience of my life. read more

Terrible customer service and follow-up. Floform smiled and told me they are very quick to remove and install their products. That is until they got my money and then I saw how untrue it all was. They laser measure the countertops but somehow didn't measure the sink hole properly so they had to waste my time by sending a crew to cut the stone in my home. Can you imagine the mess they left me to clean. No offers to fix it and no explanation of how this happened. Their subcontractors never arrive in the large window given them. No apology for tardiness. No interest in their work. No courtesy. That's what Floform hires and it's apparently fine with them. Two weeks after the countertops were placed, I'm still waiting for the backslash as Floform screwed up the order (their word). Their customer had to suggest they expedite the order. Their manager couldn't think of that even though it's her job to do this each and every day. Pathetic. They didn't, however, expedite anything and the tile installer arrived over 2 hours late. Floform has no respect for customers or their time. I asked for the number of the CEO but they didn't have the courtesy to provide it. I assume because they did such a poor job they didn't want anyone above them to know. But, I found an executive who didn't sound happy. I have yet to see how this will play out but need future customers to read my horrific experience and decide for themselves. read more
