I had another piece made for the short wall behind the cabinets and I asked them to leave it until I lowered the wall and added new backsplash. Finally finished it all this year and a BGCC team returned to install it. These gentlemen took such pride in their work to compensate for the short wall having been built not level. By the time they completed their work the top was level and the finish work looked great. I'm so very grateful for their efforts! This is such an easy company to recommend to others. Thank you!

Norman, Sharon, Wen, and Ian are exceptional--not just in their craftsmanship, but as people. They are some of the kindest and most genuine individuals we've had the pleasure of working with. They care deeply about what they do, and it shows in both the quality of their work and their reliability and responsiveness. The way they treat their clients is truly next level. They are consistently on time, dependable, and deliver beautiful results. Norman has an incredible eye for selections, and I really enjoyed learning from him about cabinetry craftsmanship. Since this was our first home remodel, we leaned on his advice often--and many of his suggestions ended up shaping our home in the best way. Throughout the entire process, they went above and beyond. Anytime we had a vision, we could call Norman and the team, and they would find a way to bring it to life. Norman would come out, take measurements, and make it happen. When I wanted a custom bookcase, they absolutely delivered. That level of dedication and follow-through is rare. Wen also played a huge role throughout our remodel. From answering every question to supporting us through the final stages, he was incredibly kind, patient, and present the entire time. The customer service we experienced was outstanding, and the quality of the materials, custom cabinetry, and installation exceeded our expectations. You won't regret working with this team. It's rare to find people who care this much about their craft and their clients. We're incredibly grateful to them for showing us what true excellence looks like.

After reading all the…read more5-star reviews (which influenced my decision to go with this company), I am baffled by the terrifically poor wall painting job Christine's painting contractor provided for us. That, on top of his over the top rudeness to myself and my spouse, just made this job one of the most unpleasant home improvement projects we have done. We had to have the painter return (which was the last thing we wanted) and Christine to rectify the numerous painting errors. He, once again, wouldn't even acknowledge us. Yes, there was a language barrier, but he never once greeted us when coming into our home, rushed through the job (he got "done" two days ahead of schedule) and did one of the messiest wall painting jobs I've seen. Yes, the cabinets look nice, but with all the cabinet refinishing companies out there one would think the finished job should be close to perfect. The owner never checked with us during the job and when we started to express our displeasure towards the end, she offered numerous excuses, defending her painter. We do have a lg Pride flag on our house and we are thinking perhaps the painter was homophobic. We don't readily go to that, but this guy's attitude stumped us. Christine did correct the problems but overall, esp with the amount of $ we spent, we highly regret not going with a different company.

From quickly providing an estimate, clear scheduling, first day and last day onsite and follow up, she was professional, a great communicator and most importantly provided an incredible finished product. Artistic Stone Design (ASD) is truly a hidden gem in the countertop fabrication industry, and I…read morefeel incredibly fortunate to have found them. I hired ASD for a complex kitchen countertop and backsplash project after seeing their stunning backlit Crystallo stone installation in a Street of Dreams project. My project entailed a backlit island, multiple cutouts and a curved wall structure. From my first conversation with Marina, one of the owners, I knew I was in excellent hands. She was exceptionally customer-focused, providing multiple updated quotations as my project evolved and offering thoughtful guidance on stone selection and other design decisions. She was patient, knowledgeable, and never tired of my many questions. When I found my Crystallo Quartzite at MSI, Marina offered to pick it up and store it for m and held it for more than two years while I finalized my cabinetry and overall kitchen design. Throughout that time, she checked in kindly and never once showed frustration or impatience. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. ASD's fabrication team is among the best I have encountered. They beautifully fabricated the various pieces of my Crystallo Quartzite, which is an exceptionally delicate and translucent stone. Eduardo and Leo in the fabrication shop were outstanding. They took the time to provide samples, review templates, and patiently create multiple edge samples so I could make an informed decision. Eduardo was nearly ready to leave for the day when I asked for one more edge sample, and he graciously made it without hesitation. It is rare to find professionals who are so genuinely committed to customer satisfaction, and Eduardo exemplified that level of dedication. The installation crew was equally fantastic. They worked diligently, took great pride in their craftsmanship, and were fully invested in delivering the level of quality I was hoping for. Lim, the lead installer, was polite, friendly, and consistently positive throughout the process. The install crew including Juan, Geo, Ivan, and several others--put tremendous care into shaping the edges and polishing the seams to perfection on a very challenging quartzite. Their seam-polishing technique is truly world-class. ASD allowed them to take the time needed to perfect the results unlike other fabricators who rush through projects to maximize ROI. They stayed up late to clean and seal the stone thoroughly before they left. ASD also designed and installed my backlit island waterfall, and the final result is absolutely gorgeous. They artistically assembled slivers of the quartzite to cover my curved wall for a stunning look! Just as importantly, they stand behind their work and assured me they would be available if I noticed any issues after the installation was complete. I highly recommend Artistic Stone Design for any stone fabrication project. Their artistry, professionalism, patience, and commitment to quality are exceptional. I am also grateful to Alex and David for managing my project and seeing it through to completion.

Peter Ton was very friendly, professional & helpful as we chose the pattern we wanted, as well as the type of sink & mounting. Their variety for selection may not be as large as some other places, but the colors & patterns they had available were just fine for what we were looking for, which was pretty standard. And their price was WAY lower than what we had been quoted at a couple of the "big box" stores! Once we chose the countertop material, a person from Tonstone came within 1 day to do the measurements of our bathroom cabinet, & 1 day later, they came with the finished countertop! They installed it very quickly, gave us directions to not touch it for a few hours, & the next day we were able to install the faucet & then start using the sink! The 1st countertop install went so well that about 2 weeks later, we ordered a countertop from Tonstone for our 2nd bathroom. Again, the process went very quickly & easily. Now we have 2 beautiful new bathroom countertops & sinks, which we are enjoying very much. When we are ready to replace our kitchen countertops this coming summer, there's no question that we'll return to Tonstone Building Supply to get this done!

We worked with Angel in the office, Sean in the field, and Jessica ran the carpet crew that performed the install. The morning of the install, Sean informed us they couldn't find the carpet. They lost the carpet! We had the house all boxed up, our dog and kids were away for the day, and we even had professional movers over to help disassemble and move a large entertainment center. Macadam eventually found our carpet, but two weeks had passed by the time it was able to get installed. This was not the only issue we had with Macadam. First, the crew took pictures of themselves pretending to play my son's guitar (and other similar pictures with our things). Jessica said they take pictures like that sometimes for their professional social media accounts. It made me very uncomfortable. Second, they damaged and repaired our bedroom door and never told us. The repair work is highly visible (at least it's low on the door). Third, there are visible seams in the carpet. Fourth, when they attempted to repair the seams, they asked if they could cut carpet from another part of the house to use in the repair. We said no. They ignored our wishes and cut carpet from several rooms when we weren't around. We know this because (a) they left carpet scraps from the cutting and (b) the area where the carpet meets the wall looks worse than before. Fifth, the carpet they cut from was in rooms with closed doors, including a bedroom and walk-in closet with laundry and pets. They entered closed off rooms without asking and performed work we said not to do. Sixth, even after the repair, there are still visible seams in the carpet. Seventh, we let Angel know about all these issues and Macadam offered what we consider to be an inappropriately small reduction to our bill (including a small cash discount and not charging us for moving furniture). FWIW, our interior designer, who has a lot of experience working on projects like this, thought a 50% reduction in the total bill was appropriate just based on the hassle caused by the lost carpet (ripple effect with other projects we had going on). She didn't know about any of the other issues when she made that statement. Given that the quality of the work was far below our expectations, the incompetence around losing the carpet, directly ignoring our wishes w/r/t cutting the carpet, and the invasion of privacy from entering closed rooms and taking pictures with our belongings, we will not use Macadam for a carpet project again. Moreover, I wouldn't let anyone from that crew back in my house for any reason. Two stars because even though this project fell far below our expectations, it's still nice carpet.
