AVOID THIS PLACE IS A SCAM On May 9, 2025, I took my Ford for service, for a change of a window switch. Charles from the service department called me before they close to tell me that the window switch change did not fix the window. I told Charles that I want to pick the car and fix it somewhere else. He responded that they have to park the car with the window down on the rain if I don't come get it in 15 min, or I have to proceed with how they think the car needs to be fixed. That put me in a bind, they charged me for changing of the oil and an electric motor of a ford, $1,100. This is a scam, the ford dealer down the road quoted me 375 for the same service. When promoting why the cost, the response was because they use American Oem part and American labor unlike the other guy, in the dealership they told me that are modeled lean like DOGE. Obviously both are a scam, I can report only Flood Ford as a scam, receipt attached. read more

I went today to buy either a Truck or SUV. I first went to Paul Masse at Tower Hill in South Kingstown where I was treated with respect and courtesy. Test drove Sierra 1500 Denali which was awesome. I then went to compare it to a Ford F150. However, the two F150s that I attempted to test drive had no gas in them. I waited 20 minutes for them to put some gas in one. I was not offered a bottle of water nor cup of coffee while I sat waiting outside by a Sales Person who didn't know what he was even selling. The final straw that broke my back was when I finally got in the truck to test drive it and the young man had walked away with the key to it. I was done as this is clearly an incompetent dealership! On April 30, 2024 I went into Flood in Narragansett to purchase a truck. Dealer reviewed my registration, and truck and offered $45K for a trade in allowance. I provided a $500 deposit via my credit card and arranged to have the windows tinted on the new truck being purchased. The next day, I inquired about having Flood apply a spray-in bed liner. They offered a price which I agreed to and was asked to close on the truck and provide full payment prior to the work being done. On May 6th , I provided full payment and closed the deal, signing and receiving all the required paperwork and insuring the new truck. Two days after closing on the truck, I received a call from a sales manager at the dealership stating that I had misrepresented my truck that was traded in. My truck was a buyback vehicle where, before I bought it in 2018, Ford took it back from the original purchaser and repainted the back door. All of that information is clearly noted on the Carfax, which I assumed they would have looked at prior to offering a vehicle trade in value. They wanted to re-negotiate the deal after I owned the new truck, asking for another $5,000. The sales manager admitted in writing that the vehicle history report was not available at the time they offered a trade in value. Principle kicked in and I was unwilling to renegotiate for a truck I already owned. Possession is 9/10th of the law and since I had contracted with Flood to do an aftermarket spray liner in the bed, they refused to give me my truck which was paid for. Had I gone home with it the day I bought it, it would have been a different story. They sent me back my check which they had endorsed, but I have had to hire an attorney to try and get my $500 deposit back and the money I paid for the window tinting. I ask the status on the car he stated it had not been looked at yet and if I did not like it I could come and get it and take it some place else. I brought my car in because I was losing power steering fluid. The power steering pressure switch and pig tail were replaced. When I picked up my car, the radio, fan switches, front defrost, floor heat and other controls weren't working. Also, the Lincoln cap on one hubcap was missing. They were all working when I dropped the car off. The earliest appointment offered was 6 weeks away. When I finally was able to get in, I was charged for a repair that I believe was their responsibility. I contacted Mr. Flood twice with no response. I am a new Ford Bronco Sport owner as of June, Ford now has an app to start your vehicle, and also give you information like tire pressure, oil life, miles to empty, and so on. My automatic car starting option stopped working after my first oil change, after a month or so I went to the app to start my Bronco with the app. Error "You vehicle cna not be started it is already running" was the message that I was getting. I took it to flood ford of Narragansett where I bought the 2023 Bronco Sport with a great 2019 chevy Equinox and $10,000 hard earned cash. So when I took it in for them to look at it, they tried to do re-set on the vehicle and that failed. I was told that I need to set up an appointment with service, after trying to make an appointment 2 weeks out from when I was going home to Buffalo they had nothing available. I can not believe that they wanted nothing to do with helping me!! The Sales manager said you don't need your auto starter to go to Buffalo!!! No But I did Pay for it and would like to use it. I was able to make an appointment 4 days out in Hamburg NY just south of Buffalo.. Avoid Bad Service, Avoid Flood Ford!!! read more

I brought my vehicle in for Flood Ford due to an issue I was having. My vehicle was diagnosed, root cause found, and part ordered. Upon leaving the dealership that day, my check engine light was on and remote start was not working. Informing Flood Ford of this, they committed to correcting at the same time as my vehicle's original purpose is serviced. Fast forward 2 months, my vehicle's part arrived and my vehicle ready for service. I reminded Flood Ford about my check engine light and remote start needing correction. Flood Ford called me later that day and said they can only fix my check engine light and remote start after $126.50 diagnosis fee. I dreadfully agreed. The diagnosis (and invoice states), "found no actually circiut fault" yet I was not refunded. Upon picking up my vehicle following service, my check engine light was off but my remote start still didn't work. I didn't leave the lot yet and brought it to the service departments attention. Flood Ford wanted to charge me $126.50 again for a diagnosis. I declined and filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. I regret that my experience witb Flood Ford has been unprofessional and untrustworthy. read more

This review is lacking much detail as I had to shorten it significantly due to it being too long. We purchased a 2017 Dodge Journey. There were some scratches and the inside needed to be cleaned. I asked them if they would detail it and touch up the scratches before we took delivery. The sales manager agreed and said we could pick it up the next day. The next day I was told no one was there to do it and they could deliver it to me the following day. After it was delivered, we noticed the interior was only vacuumed, not cleaned and the driver front door needed to be slammed in order for it to shut. I called and was told we had to bring it to their body shop. We took time out of work and brought it there. We had also noticed that it was missing floor mats, a lug nut (they replaced when I brought to service) and a valve stem cap (it's also missing the antenna, which we just realized a couple days ago). After a couple days of driving, we noticed a rumble when braking and a high-speed shake. I decided to wait a while before calling in case we noticed anything else before the 30 days was up. I spoke with a guy who helped me schedule a time and day that worked for us to come in and wait for the diag on a Friday. My husband left work early and brought it in only to be told by a different advisor that he had to drop it off and pick it up Monday. I called, expressed my frustration and asked for a loaner vehicle which was declined. The advisor (312) said they would try to fix it for Saturday. She called later that day and said the rotors were rusted and were the cause of both issues and that they would cut them. I said ok and asked to check the balance and for bent wheels. She calls Saturday morning and said the car is all set. I specifically asked if they test drove the car again and were sure that the car was not shaking anymore because i work at a dealership and a tech friend told me that one of those two issues were probably the cause of the high-speed shake, not the rusted rotors. Her response was something along the lines of, "Yes or I wouldn't be calling you". I go to pick up the car, apologized for being snippy and explained my frustration due to the whole purchasing process. I leave and get up to about 68 mph or so and my car starts SHAKING! At this point I have lost trust and instead of bring it back, i decided to bring it where I work. The tech looked at it and said that the wheels needed to be balanced and one of the wheels is bent! Basically Flood Ford's service department lied to me and clearly didn't even check these issues, nor did they test drive it again at high speeds otherwise they would have felt the shake. Now since this car purchase I have had to pay $115 for the factory floor mats, $10 for the valve stem cover, $67.50 for the balance, not sure of the cost of the antenna yet since I haven't looked into it and hopefully just the $50 deductible for the bent wheel! None of which should I have had to pay for! read more

I had the most horrible experience here at this dealership. Specifically want to point out "Peter" in the service department. First and foremost I scheduled my appointment at 8am for 3 recalls to be done, when I called at 2pm it hadn't even been touched they said it would be done at the end of the week. I went to go see if my car was parked in the same placed I left it early that morning specifically this Friday 12/17/2021. Mr Peter said everyone there has been going home since yesterday due to "Covid" yet no one in there wears a mask I wonder why they daughter Covid. The women at the front desk failed to let me know this information. The best part is Peter didn't even acknowledge that I was standing there and said I lack the understanding that he will not fix my vehicle and it is my dealerships fault for selling me a car that needed a recall. I was sooooo angry that I could literally scream!! The unprofessional and ignorance this boy has is unimaginable. I am so disgusted with Ford the lack in f empathy and resolution has failed my expectations and I will never purchase another vehicle from Ford. I took my 2003 Diesel F350 here for service. It was a nightmare. Had fuel filters and oil change done, and they broke the drain plug to my fuel water seperator and wanted me to but a new seperator to fix it. I told them that was unacceptable and they would have to replace drain bolt and they just put the broken one in there and returned me a truck leaking diesel. I asked them to diagnose the 4 wheel drive system since it wasnt working and they said I needed a new locking hub. I got the truck home, removed the hub that was in it and found that a simple snap ring had popped off. Replaced it in 3 minutes and trucks 4 wheel drive worked. These guys are liars and cheats. Had a fine experience buying my first F150 about 3 years ago. I received an invitation to trade it in for a newer model. I figured it seemed pretty straight forward. Unfortunately, in order to complete a deal you need someone to give a call back. I was told by the salesperson, Bill, that he was going to "look around" for my requested vehicle and would call on Monday or Tuesday (I called on a Saturday). I was looking for a slightly used silver F150 Lariat - nothing special. I told Bill that I will be there with a checkbook. I bought the last one in about 5 minutes - no haggling. It would have been the easiest sale for Bill. Unfortunately, I guess Bill would have had to do some research and actually call me back. Just bought a preowned vehicle here, I probably didnt get the BEST deal I possibly could have, this being my first time buying on my own, but I got what I thought was a fair price for my trade and one of my highest offers. The actual salesman was okay, but the woman Megan who does all the financing and final paper work was outstanding! She was so nice and even saved me over 1000.00 by telling me nissan had to give me the remainder of my extended warranty back in cash! She was so personable and was great with my son.
