READ MY REVIEW AND THE 1 STAR REVIEWS AND YOU WILL SEE WHY. If you want a reliable car DONT SHOP HERE!! If you want service that a company will stand behind DONT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE! If you want to be treated with any respect whatsoever DO NOT STEP FOOT INTO THIS DEALERSHIP. I purchased a certified preowned 2018 Tiguan from Speedcraft. Had it serviced at Speedcraft. I had it serviced in December of 2024. I Was called by my service agent and told the car was all set and ready to go $1500 later. Drove it for 1 hour engine light goes on makes a funny sound upon starting. Had it towed back. AAA guy said when he tried to start it sounds and smells like there is no oil in it. (I had just paid for an oil change and multiple other repairs). Called Speedcraft a few days later and they said the oil (which they had just changed) had metal shavings in it and the motor was shot and it would be 15,000 for a new motor and turbo. I went in to talk to the service department about what happned. This car was purchased as a Certified Pre-Owned from Speedcraft and service exclusively at SpeedCraft including all oil changes being done within 200 miles of when they were due. The parts manager blamed us. She was rude and disrespectful. Including to my son who is a mechanic in the Navy and his girlfriend who was with us who is a mechanic in the Army. I asked to speak to the General Manager and the Service manager lied and said she was the general manager. I told her I was stopping payment on the charge. She said it was my fault and there was nothing she could do. By the way in addition to not standing behind their products or service be prepared to hear Speedcraft blame any problem with you car on you. They are never wrong in their minds and their products never fail in their minds. As I left the dealership the service managerapproached my car and banged on the window and said we won't release your car until you stop the stop payment. I spoke the the general manager who was at least polite but told me it was a problem with the car that Volkswagen built and to call Volkswagen Corporate. I spoke with them and they said it was a dealer problem. My daughter (a nursing student) went to get her belongings out of the car and was told they would only return her stethoscope but nothing else (clothes, etc) until we paid the bill for them destroying the car. They destroyed my car, took zero accountability. They still won't release my destroyed car to me. This is the single worst company I have ever dealt with. If you want horrible service, a bad product you have found your place. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!!!

    Buyer beware: this review is about Hyundai paint adhesion problems and my failed attempts to get…read morehelp. There has been a class action lawsuit involving Hyundai paint adhesion defects, and the warranty was extended to 50,000 miles for certain Elantra paint issues. In May 2023, my loved one was diagnosed with a terminal illness and could no longer drive her 2018 Hyundai. Around then, I noticed paint coming off during car washes, even though the car had only about 18,000 miles. After rain or a car wash, the paint bubbled, loosened, and came off. This was not normal wear and tear. During this I became her full-time caretaker for 2.5 difficult years. My loved one passed away in March 2026. The paint kept bubbling and falling off. I contacted this Hyundai location, where the car had been serviced regularly near her home. I live in Boston, so handling this while caring for her was difficult. I repeatedly tried to reach Joe, the service manager, but he was unavailable and did not return my calls for weeks, if not months. After she passed, I went in person. Joe inspected the paint and submitted a report to Hyundai, but I was not given a copy. Weeks later, Hyundai denied coverage because the car had about 54,000 miles, just over the 50,000-mile limit. Much of that mileage came from traveling between Rhode Island and Boston during my loved one's illness. Please look at the photos. The paint bubbles and peels to metal after contact with water, whether from rain, a hose, or a car wash. This appears to be a known Hyundai factory paint adhesion issue. Once the paint starts failing, it keeps spreading. This car has the same type of problem, yet Hyundai refused to fix it. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Hyundai. The paint is still coming off in sheets, exposing bare metal. Touch-up products do not stay on because the adhesion problem remains. It is disappointing that Hyundai is not taking responsibility for a defect that leaves customers with peeling paint, exposed metal, and possible rust. I would caution others before buying from this location or purchasing a Hyundai. Customers deserve accountability, especially when a known defect causes this kind of damage.

I met with Gordon (owner) and he got right down to business, checking out the damage. No attitude, or acting like I was an imposition like another local place I visited. His quote was much less than expected, and at the end of it all, workmanship better than any I've had in the past. He also showed me some antique restorations that he's working on for customers. Awesome place for a car guy needing a good bodyshop! I also noticed they sell cars as well. He explained to me how he refuses to sell any car that needed extensive body work. Unlike another place that repairs cars that should have been scrapped, they refuse to do business that way. My youngest son will be driving soon, so you can bet that I'll be visiting Atlas again to see what they have for deals.

    I was referred to Atlas by my long time mechanic. Have an older car that runs well but after 13…read moreyears of a scrape here, a shopping cart there, a few rust spots, etc. the car was looking ratty. The business isn't fancy on the outside but once inside it's a very professional operation. Met with the owner Gordon, he gave me a couple of options, and a range of the cost depending on how deep some of the rust spots went. The car came out great, I found out from one of the employees that Gordon also owns a paint shop so they blended up some paint that matched perfectly. He kept within the estimate and my overall impression is that this is an honest local business doing good work for a fair price.
