I felt bad for interrupting his family Thanksgiving dinner, but he was so great trying to talk me thru what to look for to trouble shoot. 48 hours later, his tech showed up and within 30 minutes had the problem fixed. As a general contractor with over 20 years in business, I was not impressed with their work. They ripped out whatever was in their way and left a mess that had to be fixed/covered up. In one instance, they only needed a couple inches and they could have installed the duct behind a closet wall/bi-fold door but instead they busted up the trim and tore out framing to do their install directly in the way of the door. I understand that the owner who was selling the house probably didn't care - they likely just wanted the "cheapest" thing done to get the sale, but it showed a distinct lack of foresight AND a lack of respect for the new owners (my sister, brother-in-law and their kids). It really isn't THAT much more difficult to CARE about one's work! Based on that, I cannot recommend them.

I called to say that I needed a new circulating pump in my heating system, and would they please…read moremake sure that they had one when they arrived. I took a picture of the unit, so they could see it ahead of time. I was told, "we don't take our customers word for it, because they're usually wrong". The man arrived, first thing he did was show me the to replace the circulating pump. There was a $170 trip charge plus $75 labor per hour, which was not included in the trip charge. The price they were charging me for the pump was $545. On Granger's website it's sold for $259. On Amazon I could've purchased it for $157.. The man did not have the proper tools, so I supplied him with mine. We got it done, not him only than 41 minutes. I believe I got ripped off for the price of the pump. I contacted the company and spoke to the vice president who spoke down to me as if I was in third grade. She explained how they needed to pay for their trucks, maintenance and gas plus their labor and their parts. Each one of the categories considerably. I found out that the parts price tag goes to one part of their corporation. The labor goes to another part of their corporation, and the truck charge goes to another part of the corporation. There are obviously too many hands in the pie of this company. Never again!
