I wanted to get a complete flooring job for an empty and small two-bedroom apartment that had that…read morehad sub+flooring irregularities or defects. Two other major flooring companies rejected the job outright when they saw the defects, and another quoted a job at about 30% higher than I paid. The service I received was very friendly and helpful, and I was able to choose vinyl sheet flooring, which is not as widely used and somewhat difficult to get hold of. Octavio was the leader of the crew that installed the flooring and they did a fantastic job. They were very attentive to details and did not express any dismay at the fact that they had to return a second day because the flooring float material was not able to dry fully in some of the hollows of the floor. They cleaned up everything and left it spotless. I had planned for them not to have to put new flooring in the closets, and had left a number of boxes in the closets, which they moved without complaint and ended up putting the vinyl everywhere which certainly looks very nice. I had to stop them from moving everything back into the closet because now that the flooring is in I can put the items where I want them to be rather than back in the closets. The only less than stellar part of the experience was the mistake that was made in the initial guesstimate of the price, leaving out the cost of installation, to that the final price was about 30% greater than the original estimate. I might have continued shopping around had I known that would happen.
