I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Floor & Decor. I recently spent thousands of dollars installing their "waterproof" LVP flooring throughout my entire home -- nearly 2,000 sq. ft., including the kitchen and bathrooms, exactly as their team recommended. Despite being assured the product was truly waterproof and appropriate for these areas, the flooring buckled, bubbled, and began trapping moisture shortly after installation. I had my insurance company inspect the issue, and they confirmed there were no leaks in my home. Their moisture reader showed that the flooring itself was holding water, and when it was removed, there was mold underneath -- a serious health hazard. Because mold is dangerous to breathe, the flooring had to be removed immediately. Yet when I contacted Floor & Decor for support under their lifetime residential warranty, I was told the warranty was voided simply because the flooring was removed -- even though removal was required for health and safety reasons. To make matters worse, the representative handling my case (Matt) was dismissive, repeatedly cut me off, and refused to allow me to submit photos, proof of installation, insurance reports, or documentation. I was not offered any investigation, partial refund, or even the courtesy of reviewing my case. I trusted Floor & Decor, invested heavily in their product, followed installation guidelines, and now I am left with ruined floors, mold exposure, and no accountability from the company. This experience has been devastating, and I would encourage anyone considering their "waterproof" LVP to proceed with caution and thoroughly research their warranty limitations. I sincerely hope Floor & Decor reconsiders their customer service approach and honors the warranties they promote. read more

If you're doing a reno, you have to go to Floor and Decor and find Arthur! Arthur saw me wandering and helped me quickly locate some tile I had found online. After talking to him about my project and showing him pictures of what vibe I was going for, he helped me pick out the floor tile (as seen in the picture) and it was PERFECT. I didn't even know it existed before he pointed it out! Arthur was so kind and patient, & really understood the design I was going for. He gave me his direct contact info in case I needed anything else, and so thoughtfully called to check on me and see if I needed anything else. DO NOT PURCHASE HARDWOOD OAK FLOORING FROM FLOOR AND DECOR. We purchased around 15 boxes of flooring. I was told by the staff that whatever was left over could be returned. While installing the flooring, my installer pulled out over 50 pieces that had little holes in them. He said it was termite damaged boards. When I took them back to the store, they refused to give me a credit. They first said that it wasn't a full box. When I showed them that they sell it by the piece, they said they wouldn't take back termite damaged products. John in Wood at the Memorial drive was a total asshole. read more

If I could give zero reviews for my experience I would. What a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer experience. No help at all. The teenagers talking rudely about my father throwing cuss words like, " it's this falls off the dollar his ass is paying for it," "he's one annoying mother fucker" LIKE WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT!? This is what you have representing your store!? What a shame! Those kids look like they don't want to work. I came up stating that I am there to pick up an order, and the gentleman upfront just stares at me with a blank look on his face, and I said once again I'm here to pick up an order, and he replies snarky, "ok?".... Then all of them at the front who are teenagers told me that the product is not available. I called the floor and decor from Acworth and they told me they have the box in stock, the manager got involved and said that they don't. Didn't even bother to look for it. At this point I am on the phone with the Acworth location and the manager from that location actually helped me locate the box by telling me the specific aisle and the specific area where it is located, and ironically enough, I was able to find the box. The manager looked annoyed once I was able to locate it. No, when it came time to loading the furniture into my trailer that was astonishing to see and hear. The teenagers, throwing cuss words, saying That if anything breaks, my father and I are liable ETC. I'm sorry but if anything breaks floor and decor is liable, not the customer because for the core is loading it into my trailer and if they break it, they are liable. I was looking for tile for my bathroom and I had no idea what I was looking for. Brenay Grimball (Designer) was amazing! She was there to assist me and help me come up with a beautiful design for my bathroom. We nailed down tile for the shower and for the floor. She was very helpful, thorough, and followed up as the project continued because I had some questions about other things to add to the design. Overall the final designs resulted in something you would see in Architectural Digest! I love it. She was great and my bathroom is gorgeous!Some of the other designers are not as helpful and pretty rude actually. If it wasn't for her I would have taken my business elsewhere. To whom this may concern, I am filing a complaint about a 'Design Service Manager' names Renae Davis Walker due to a horrible experience my wife and I had at the store. Yesterday 2/3/2021, I made an appointment with Renae Walker for my wife and I to come in so we could sit down and map out our Master bathroom major renovation we are doing. Ms. Walker asked what time would work for me and I said 5:15pm. She set it for 5pm and mentioned to her again we wouldnt be able to be there until 5:15pm and she said 'dont worry 5, 5:05: 5:10, or 5:15 is fine. I'll be here come when you can.' This is important because we arrived at 5:15pm and she was not at her desk, professionally waiting for her potential clients, instead she was in the back of the store talking to some gentleman she knew we suppose. She came over and immediately starts, and doesn't let up about how we are late... Now a halfway decent sales professional would have not even brought it up, however she did, which prompted me to remind her 5 times of the conversation we had the day prior when I said we wouldnt be there until 5:15 and she said dont worry about it. Strike two... She ranted about her relationship with the guy from the back that neither my wife nor I cared about because unless he's installing what we are buying, he is irrelevant to the business at hand. Strike three... After those wasted 10 mins of aimless information, she then begins to tell us if it were her design business she would charge $100 for clients showing up late... again I mentioned we werent late. Strike 4.... My wife could not believe this was a designer at a store like Floor and Decor. With a manager title??? So we begin to start walking the aisles and another Designer who looked more professionally presentable, asked if we needed water and we said yes thanks. Why didnt our designer, who is a manager apparently not ask??? Strike 5.... As we are walking she asked if we were interested in glass tiles, and I responded no because glass tiles are dated. She went and got some glass tiles and we werent impressed. She then said 'You dont need a designer you need an order taker. Let me get you a sales associate' My wife looked at me stunned that this so-called professional lost it over me saying glass tiles are dated. I said to Ms. Walker 'If I knew you were so sensitive about glass tiles I wouldnt have said it.' I said it because she told us to be honest about our opinion and its not personal to her. We left but still need to get tiles and the like. SMH Worst service ever! read more

Not helpful at all, I needed floor cleats to nail down the $1500 in hardwood I was buying and nobody even knew what I was talking about. No one we spoke to knew anything regarding their inventory. Wow - What great customer service and selection! Selection - They had a HUGE selection of tiles at all different price points, but my favorite part is they have a bunch of showrooms up front which was the easiest way to get inspiration or see how things go together. Also, on the price tag for each kind of tile they had information on where the tile could go (e.g., kitchen, shower floor, bathroom, etc.) which was soo helpful. Customer Service - In addition to a great selection, the customer service is really strong & customer-friendly. Specifically, returns are incredibly easy. So I was able to buy extra tile and return what I didn't use, including single-tile samples. One time for a return, I couldn't find my receipt. I hadn't given my phone number for any purchases (which his how they look up orders without receipts) so I was concerned I'd either have to make another trip or forfeit the money. But lucky for me, Angie was working that day and she was actually able to look up my order by when I purchased it, what I purchased, and how, and pull up my order and issue the refund. That was an unprecedented level of service that you certainly don't get every day!! I'd recommend this store to anyone :) read more

I ordered hardwood floors for my home Saturday with an expected delivery date of Thursday. Thursday a came and went with no delivery - the order tracking feature on the website is worthless because it only shows one status "In Progress." Friday I call, get placed on hold for 15 minutes and hung up on. Call again, same thing. Call a third time and after another 20 minutes, finally get a person and ask to speak with a manager - the young lady answered the phone as though I had interrupted her dinner said, "Uhh why you got a problem?" I wait on hold for another 10 minutes and get someone who was not a manager but tried to help figure out where the delivery was, she said she would call me back in just a few minutes with an update but never did. Saturday I go down to the store and speak to the Manager Mike, who was very nice and gave me my shipping fee back. He let me know the delivery would be there by Monday and that he would call me Monday morning with tracking info. He never called. When I hadn't heard from someone by Monday afternoon I again called the store and was initially told that not only would things not be delivered Monday but that the supplies needed fulfill my order were back ordered several weeks - then was told actually they were in the warehouse and would be delivered Tuesday. Got a call from the shipping company Monday night saying that the delivery would be there Tuesday between 10 and 3pm, finally some progress in the right direction. The driver called 45 minutes before getting there like I had asked so I could have my contractor meet him at the house. I sent a text with a map showing the driver where to park and sharing the contractor's info so they could coordinate with one another once there, the driver was supposed to arrive at 11:30AM. As a final cherry on top to this experience at 11:34AM the driver "Jeff," angry, calls and essentially goes off about how frustrated he is that he has had to wait for four minutes. That this whole situation is, "a mess that (I) should have coordinated better" and he "just doesn't understand why everyone is late" ... because he has had to wait 4 minutes. This has been, without even close comparison, the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor for supplies for a home improvement project. Customer service was nonexistent, it is impossible to reach someone at the store who can actually help you, those who can do not follow up. Employees and the delivery vendor are blatantly rude and act as though you are bothering them by being there. read more

Flooring heaven! If you haven't been to a floor & decor you must, but just be prepared to buy new floors even if you weren't planning on renovating. The selection of tile, hardwood, engineered hardwood, vinyl, and laminate is unparalleled to any other store. The have also have a large palate for each flooring sample, which is a full sized installation you can look at to get a better idea of how it would look in your home. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Floor & decor also has their own installation department if you don't have a contractor. The best part is that they give you full size samples - tile samples are priced per sq ft, the other flooring samples (i.e. hardwood, bamboo, etc) are $5 per sample (but not like those tiny ones you get at other hardware stores). They are full planks and easy to return with just your phone number (no receipt needed)! In a time where most stores have the majority of their inventory online it's nice to go somewhere to actually see and feel what you are buying and know that you are getting a good product. read more

My laptop is in the shop and wanted to complete an order of the samples I had received. I have called twice both Times got to the point where I ordered everything then was put on hold for 28 minutes for the total and to give payment. Their customer service reps I spoke with, both of them seemed to hate their job. Maybe someone that would like a job could take their place. January 3 I had the opportunity to visit the new Floor and Decor design center as they prepared for the days leading to their official grand opening. There was wonderful team on-site ready to assist in anyway possible. One of their salesperson I believe her name is Renee walked me through the entire store. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions that I had. I have been to the other locations and this is by far my favorite. If they don't have it here then you probably don't need it. We checked in round 8 pm to get some design ideas before they closed at nine and only covered half the store because it is just that huge and full of cool stuff. Prices ranged from extremely reasonable to expensive but worth it. I was even eyeing some of the smaller tile packs for my arts and crafts projects. It would be cool if they had a snack bar. Something new is opening next door soon so maybe that's something fun too. Make sure you budget enough time to see everything. Ps.
